Kenny or Jane? (spoilers) (hopefully peaceful)
I highly doubt this'll end well.
I personally went with Kenny (all the way to Wellington, then left with him).
Clem and AJ are what I consider the last leg of Kenny's humanity, his sanity. Kenny, as we see in S3, considers Clem his "second chance", the best he could ever ask for. It could also be said that Kenny is HER last see stretch of humanity or perhaps simply the best possible company, as in S3 she is seen to be closed off and calculating. Gosh she even ends up joining the New Frontier for whatever reason (it could even just be down to having company). So what are your thoughts? I aim to be peaceful and may dispute or agree, but in a friendly and nonthreatening manner.

Wellington choice is better than staying with either Kenny or Jane.
First let me clarify that Kenny was my favorite character and I was way more attached to him than I was to Jane.
I ended up with Jane and let the family into Howes. It crushed me to shoot Kenny as I was convinced I'd do everything in my power to save him, but I just couldn't sit by and let him murder someone. I begged him to hang on and desperately hoped he'd somehow survive, he always does right?
Anyway I made the choices I did because the way I play Clementine and the Walking Dead overall is to do the right thing no matter what. Hence why I shot Kenny and welcomed a group of strangers.
True. Especially considering that Clem can take Ken's hat, hopefully that'll be with AJ, wherever he is. I'm currently playing Season 2 again after finishing Season 1, and I think I'll stay at Wellington, although the scene where Kenny stops is pretty heart-wrenching.
Clem, in my opinion gets the coolest scar at Wellington.
Yeah, that's my favourite scar
That's tough, I like your type of play style though. Clem for me is slowly breaking and strongly believes it to be her fault that Lee died. But yeah, I've seen all the endings from S2 and am not afraid to admit I cried from all of them (apart from the ENDING ending of Jane's, nothing to cry about). Just Kenny's death / dialogue kills me inside.
I vote kenny.. kenny is a good guy but is lost.. a lot, And Kenny is so angry sometingh but i like it.. i want to see he eye in new fontier (not in theyer bse just in game)
I apologise but I cannot understand what you just said.
I love my playstyle for the Walking Dead because sometimes the series makes it really hard to stick to it. For example in season 2 episode 5 I almost lost my way. I was really upset about Luke's death and found myself blaming Arvo for it. When Kenny was losing his shit and argued with Mike I actually picked "Kenny has a point" thankfully I quickly got it together and told Kenny to stop beating Arvo.
Heh, I remember my first playthrough of S1 when all the episodes came out - I blindly followed Kenny because I was young and he had moustache.
Regardless, I think they killed off Luke because they didn't want the ending to be Kenny vs. Luke. I petsonally think that would have saved TTG from all the hate of S2, it would have been the hardest decision ever.
Bump.
Not trying to be a dick here, but it's not cool to bump threads.

My sincerest apologies, I wasn't aware. I'll know for the future.
Picking Jane is basically choosing to be a loner and Kenny is putting family into importance. I first chose Jane but when I realized the baby was still alive and Jane didn't say anything I got bad vibes from this, it implies Jane was manipulative and just trying to prove a point which costed a life. Kenny also gives his last words which was pretty sad at the end that he was sorry. So I went back with Kenny, regretted that decision but decided this will be my final choice, plus when Kenny sacrifices himself by giving me up to Wellington I went with that choice.
Nothing important sorry for bad english i am romainian
Kenny could be anything but selfish, now if you asked me about Jane...
(Hey, I like both characters, but let's face the truth here)
While Kenny would've taken any opportunity to know Clem and AJ in safety, Jane desperately tried to get Clem (and AJ) with her and leave Kenny.
Just take the Wellington ending. There wasn't anything more important than for Kenny getting Clem and AJ into Wellington. He didn't care what happens to him. I think that act of selflessness redeems a lot of his asshole behaviour. I don't justify everything he did. But I rather have him, who'd give his life instead of a woman where you don't know what she does if shit hits the fan.
She thought she could get rid of that scar Troy bumped onto her, but now it's back XD.
I stuck with Kenny but I guess it doesnt matter who you chose now
Neither.
The Wellington ending sounds great now, after all
I chose Wellington.
Was I the only one who understood right away that AJ wasn't in any danger and that Jane was up to something during the 2x05 finale? Just the whole "I'll keep AJ, you (Clem) go out (forgot what she wAs supposed to go out for after the crash)" and "Clem trust me(?) / stay out of this" seemed very fishy to me.
I always felt like Jane represented pragmatism, survival, and a better chance of making it. Kenny was loyalty and family. It was a very hard decision, but I couldn't kill my family even if they were doing something wrong.
Ok, I don't want to rehash season 2 too much. At least with the Wellington ending, effectively an alternate universe, you know that Kenny is out there somewhere and hopefully at peace with himself.
For everything to make sense in New Frontier and for the best possible ending, Leave Kenny or Jane and enter Wellington.
In my old playthroughs I had always left with Kenny. The flashbacks are a mess, trust me, stay at Wellington so that Jane or Kenny can have a happy ending.
Team Kenny
For me it's better to die with Kenny than live for a long time with Jane.
Anyway I've choosen Wellington because Kenny honestly wanted to keep AJ in safety, I did it cause he asked me from the heart.
I went with Kenny. He's been my favorite character since day 1 (yes even over Lee) and it broke my heart that killing him was even an option. To date, I still have never shot Kenny during any of my season 2 playthroughs.
I understand Kenny would rather have Clem and AJ safe in Wellington, but I couldn't just leave him after everything.
People say staying in Wellington is the best ending for Kenny, since he'll still be alive during the events of season 3. While that's true that he'll still be alive, I disagree that it's the best ending for Kenny. Sure his mind is at ease knowing that Clem and AJ are safe inside the walls of Wellington, he's once again all alone. If Clementine stays with Kenny, then yes he will die, but he doesn't have to leave the last people he fully trusts and spends 2 years actually (relatively) happy.
Sorry for the wall of text lol I have a lot to say on the subject.
It's sad just knowing that Kenny's death was extremely preventable in S3. Sure, I reckon TTG fucked up by having everyone dead in flashback, but Kenny's death seemed... I don't know. Thinking if TWD was a real scenario - Kenny's death could easily have happened to others already. It's just a sad, freak accident.
The ending where you walk away from Kenny is very sad also. But yeah, I agree. Even though it's sad watching him leave, he is still technically alive.
So is Christa, apparently.
I wonder what it would've been like if no walkers had been around. Paraplegic (quadriplegic? I don't remember too well) Kenny would have been interesting as hell. I mean I kinda knew "Clem, I don't feel anything" meant death, but I was hoping that he'd survive.
If they actually kept Kenny/Jane alive throughout season 3, and had a reasonable excuse for Kenny to find a wheelchair, I would've loved to see where they went with that.
Of course, I know I'm biased as hell because Kenny is my favorite character, but having him become paralyzed would've added a new tragic layer to his story and just would've been interesting to see.
I totally agree with that.
Although I never liked / trusted Jane it would simply have been better to keep her alive. Edith too.
It would have made ANF a whole lot better, but I'm the one who thinks it would have been better for the ending of S2 to be Luke vs. Kenny. Now THAT would have been stressful and a fuckin' hard choice to make.
Ahem, pardon my French.
That would have been difficult. I wonder how that would've went down.
Honestly, I still probably would've gone with Kenny, but Luke was a lot more rational than Jane. I think this would've led more to an argument than somebody having to die.
I wonder what would get them going? I mean I know they didn't get along all that well, but again Luke was more rational than Jane, so I still think he would've tried to keep the group together instead of "fuck this I'm out. You coming, Clem?"
I went with Jane.
I didn't want my Clem to be a "tough cookie" loner type, I just liked Jane more.
I went with Jane...I like her flashback and understand it...While I was hoping for a more interesting death...it works for me.
It's funny, I hated Jane in my first playthough. I was like "where did this bitch come from, and why should I care"
But in my second playthough I really warmed up to her, and even ended up going with her to Howe's. I'm pretty dissatisfied with her ultimate fate.
Same Took me a little while, since at first I had just thought she was another generic Molly clone, but after a while I think I started to understand what her motivations were and connected with her personality. Now she's probably in my top three favourite characters.
Upon playing Season 2 again, I saw that when Christa is cornered, you hear a gunshot. She most likely was killed.
My thoughts exactly! However I also thought that Kenny was simply going too far in S2.
Whether it was for the benefit of him and/or Clem it was still incredibly wrong what Kenny was doing. I understand that you have to occasionally abandon your morals during the apocalypse but you aren't forced to be a cunt about it like Kenny was. There was no reason for him to bash Carver's head in and allow a 9 year old girl watch or when he was essentially torturing and beating the shit out of Arvo. That's not even mentioning the other countless times he went wayyyyyyy overboard.
Besides, Jane and Clem seemed to connect a whole lot and worked really well as a team (demonstrated when they went to save Luke and Sarah after the escape at Howe's). Also, Jane had an incredible knowledge of survival and tactics that only would've benefited Clem as she grew older.
I could talk about what the right decision was all day but people will always be "Team Kenny" or "Team Jane" and the truth is that while Jane was admittedly incredibly selfish, she was the best option.
I chose neither ( my Clem:i killed Kenny, Kenny killed jane) so I went with AJ alone
To me personally, either let Kenny live but stay in Wellington, or shoot Kenny and head off alone with AJ makes the most sense. As much as i like Kenny, he's too broken to be of any more help to Clem now. I made Lee teach her not to trust anyone in my story, and i generally played a tough clem. So it makes sense from that perspective i guess. But of course, if you play your story in season 1 and 2 different from mine, other choices may make more sense
