Season 2 Episode 4 into 5 GAMEBREAKING glitch (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
Alright, I am going to keep this as expletive free as I can. When I first played through the game, I heralded it as the best Telltale game yet. As I go back to replay it, however, I am about to chalk it up as your worst. I am playing on PS4, and have experienced a number of bugs, many of which have been game breaking for me. The first occurred when I went back to redo the major death choice in episode five (trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible), and tried to save my rewind to a new file. After I chose where I wanted the file to go, I get stuck at a never ending loading screen. Ok. I check the forums to see that I need to close out the app after each chapter to ensure that doesn't happen. A minor setback just to change my ending, but whatever. I enjoyed the game, so I had no problem playing through it again. So I started my second playthrough on a new file, closing the app and reopening it after each episode to avoid this error from happening again...and here is where the game @#$%s me. I made it all the way to episode 5, finishing episode 4 and closing the app, reopening it before i start 5, as stated above. But when I go to do so, it asks me if I want to import my season 1 data. Confused, I closed the app and reopened it again. The same issue occurs. Now, I can't even rewind to any point in 4, it just says restart. So when I restart the episode, it changes almost every decision i made in the episode. I try to rewind to the choice right before the final one in episode 3, save the game to a new file and I get stuck IN THE SAME STUPID @#$%ing NEVER ENDING LOADING SCREEN. SO THE GAME HAS NOT ONLY SCREWED ME ONCE, TWICE, BUT THREE DIFFERENT TIMES NOW JUST BECAUSE I WANTED TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ENDING. I'm about fed up, Telltale. I have supported you from TWD season 1 until now, purchasing all of your games (minus GoT) until this point. I think i deserve an answer to either how you are going to fix this bug, or to why you guys are too lazy to fix a problem that, from what i have read on here, many people are experiencing. You have sold me a defective productive. Fix it or give me my money back. I have never dealt with video game customer service as atrocious as what I have been through with you guys. You are breaking my heart, Telltale. Please figure out a way to make it up to me.
I will answer any follow-up questions you have. But, you already know this problem exists. You still have not fixed it, and you are about to lose a diehard because of it. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but negligence on your part has me at my wits-end.

1) I have never heard of this error before and neither have I or anyone else I've seen on this forum, to my knowledge, experienced it.
2) Is your game a digital or physical copy? If physical, you may have bought a defective disk. If so, try to get a refund and acquire a new one.
3) If digital, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Don't worry, you won't lose your save data if you uninstall.
4) If nothing above couldn't help you, then it's either a bug from the game or something is possibly faulty with your PS4. But, like I said, I have never seen anyone with this problem before.
And just some general advice...
Honestly, you won't get your money back. Maybe once in a blue moon. Not once have I seen situations like this result in a refund. Hell, hardly anything results in a refund unless it's something MEGA EXTREME. Like, Batman: Arkham Knight on STEAM EXTREME Oh, and paragraphs. Please use them. That block of writing is making my head hurt. It's better for everyone.
Hope your problem is fixed soon. Try to contact customer support also. If you already have with no luck, try again.

I know this is really old, but I have the same issues.
To rewind the chapter and between the chapters the decisions are not showing off correctly. And then the whole savegame is broken
I played season 2 chapter 4 on PS4. First time at the end the screen showed me just 1 decision I have made (should be 5) after that the savegame was broken.
The second time the screen showed me 3 decision I have made. Same issue again.
Newest patch is installed.
Don't know what to do. It's really annoying.
I have encountered this same issue! I am so frustrated, i decided to replay all the walking deads S1-S3 after the announcement skybound is continuing the game. Im playing on PS4 and encountered no problems until S2 E4, after the episode it only showed 1 choice instead of 5. I should have realized right there my game was broken. I finished S2 E5 and go to import my save to The Walking Dead A New Frontier, and boom "no save file found" Now i cannot continue my save file. I do not want the quick fix of "use the story generator" that is not the same, all the little choices like my clem eating marks legs and what Lee/Clem actually said would be randomized. Does anyone know of a fix for this glitch?
It really doesn’t matter. Choices hardly matter after Season 2 finished. You may get the odd dialogue difference here and there but it’s not worth caring about. The game still plays out the same regardless
