Broken Cloud Save System
Going to cross post from Steam, because I want an answer
Yet again: cloud saves acting up. I finished PT1 of Ep1 and I get this message upon launching it a day later. I just backed up my local save in case but this is yet ANOTHER cloud save issue. Last two cost me Ep1 of Michonne and Batman. Fool me once, but this is the third time.
Dear Telltale: fix your save system. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t that I have to fight with this every single game I play. I am not editing my local saves, what possible conflict are you having?
EDIT: and it's gone. I chose "download from cloud". It lost my save and choices. This is getting annoying. Third time in a row.
EDIT2 - Now I'm told my cloud save is empty? That my local save it blank? Did you even save AT all?
Protip Telltale: add an option to pick choices from a list per episode. This is damn annoying. I have to play an hour and a half over just to get my choices to count, whereas having a workaround would let me just choose them from a list. Your games are broken beyond repair ever since introducing this cloud system.

Oh hey, to add salt to the wound my choice exist in my account on this site. Can a mod restore them? Else I am considering a refund as I am tired of this every single game

I understand you are mad (and for good reason), but please refrain from bumping your own thread several times before other users respond.
Your forum doesn't include an edit button, I had no choice. Yes I am aggravated. Telltale has taken money from me 3 times in a row and twice I have had to fiddle with backups and settings and forced to replay episodes.
If I cannot fix my save I will go to steam and ask for a refund. I am tired of broken games.

Also, again, I am only a community volunteer who is otherwise only a regular member like yourself. This isn't really "my" forum.
I'm aware its been around awhile. Too long to be excused. Either they remove cloud saves entirely or they offer an option to fix the choices per episode. There is no other solution here. Having to replay 80+minutes of gameplay just to use the chief feature of telltale games, choices, is false advertising frankly. You tell me choices matter yet you can't even preserve my save game. Choice are random per episode in it's current form unless you disable Cloud Saves right off the bat AND Steam cloud saving. No one will know how to do this right away and will be screwed over.
I'm sorry, it's unacceptable to just hand waive it. If you can't help me, refrain from responding. I want a telltale dev to respond and patch this. Been here since Sam and Max Episode 1. Everything worked great before this garbage cloud nonsense was introduced
