Well I'm sure popular youtubers and reviewers love how short the game is. They're very busy people and it fits they're playstyle.
Makes m… moree sick to write that cause that might be why TT don't care what us gamers want since yknow we actually pay for the damn game.
He looked anxious. How can we be sure that it was him who made the decision to frame it that way? Maybe that is how he was told—because employees from all areas would be spared work—and Kevin didn't overthink it and didn't realize this.
There was literally no reason to split the premiere besides to make double the cash for the same amount of content and to cut corners for the season as a whole. Plus he is the CEO, literally the highest up, and like you said he seemed anxious as if he knew he was in the wrong.

No respect.
That may be for the best. Because it is becoming increasingly more obvious that watching someone else play the game on you tube is the best way to play telltale's games.

I disagreed with the decision to split the premiere ever since the Game Awards, Venge! I explained it on the forum using numbers and simple addition.
What I am saying is that I am not sure Kevin is responsible for this.

Right of the bat they're saying this is all one episode, yet there's still only five total. Meaning they are selling four damn episodes this season.
They said they were doing this because the episode was too long, but both of them add up to one episode in season 1.
They said we would be playing as Clem while playing as Javier, shes only playable for 3% of each episode. (They already had an idea of how to pull this off in Tales from the Borderlands.)
At this point, you can expect a good amount of people to wait for the last episode in a season before anyone even touches their season passes.
After playing the first two episodes I really was disappointed and not hopeful for the future episodes. I've learned you can never take what Telltale says in interviews or similar platforms seriously as shown by Kevin Bruners statement. Telltale had to have known that this was by no means a "too big" premier to have to split the episode. Now if the premier was 4 hours and they split 2 hours into each i could see that but i don't even think this was even 2 hours if that.

Telltale likely didn't want to come out and admit that "season 3" would be short one episode with only four episodes compared to the usual 5 episodes. Kind of like how you'd stretch out that bottle of near empty dish soap with a bit of water to make it seem like you got more soap left, That and more money for two episodes instead of one if they did make it a 4 episode season.
Yep. This goes along with them listing Clem as a co playable character. They're just lying without actually technically lying, and it's utte… morer bullshit.
Edit: and wtf is with t he "too big to fit into one episode". Now that's a straight up fucking lie. Took me 2 hours to complete both of these episodes when some of the s1 episodes took 2 hours for a SINGLE EPISODE.
Hahaha, I remember I was happy that we get 2 EP's (mostly because I haven't read anything related to TWD back then), then after I played it, well.
Mildly put, my reaction was the same as the Clem image you attached lol.
Also I still member how I couldn't wait to play the next episode while it was S1 or S2, now I'm just like "meh, well first ep split in 2 had either really bad or really novice writers, if they keep them it won't get better, idgaf when it comes out, I'll play it" but there is nothing like it was back then. Feelsbadman

Youtubers and busy people. Choose one
Its confirmed, Telltale can't handle hour-long episodes anymore. :P
GET THE LIFE GUARD!
I'm glad we could make this reference happen. Again.
I would wait the length of time I did for Sherlock Season 4 to release if that meant I got Season One length episodes for this bloody game.
I love how Kevin acted like he was doing the greatest service ever to fans but he was actually shafting us and you can kind of tell behind his eyes.
He looked anxious. How can we be sure that it was him who made the decision to frame it that way? Maybe that is how he was told—because employees from all areas would be spared work—and Kevin didn't overthink it and didn't realize this.

Who else would be though? Surely it was at least a team decision that needed Kevin's approval
The Ten Telltale Commandments
Love it.
Please make a picture where Bruner is holding stone tablets with this text on it.
You can't read the text at all, but this is the best I could do.
This is the best I've seen all day.
Spectacular.
This is genius. Pure genius.

It was around 1 hour 10 minutes per episode.
Ah. So 2 hours and 20 minutes was "too big" for one episode. .w.
According to Kevin :^).

and no it was just the right length
Telltale should give us a statement. This is just annoying.
Never was.

He is the CEO. There is no way this happened without his knowledge and consent.
