They should introduce a former musician later this season or in season 4
We've met a bunch of people throughout the series that have done a bunch of different things pre-apocalypse, but we've never met any former musicians yet (at least in the game. I don't watch the show or read the comics so I don't know about those.) I think it'd be neat if we got to see one.

Lol I was thinking more along the lines of someone relatively unknown, where Javi and/or Clem find out they were a musician pre-apocalypse as part of their character development, rather than a superstar.
And an original character, too. I'd be fine with this character being voiced by a real musician, but it'd be kinda stupid for Telltale to be like "hey look who the group just ran into!"
Meh I don't think it would serve much of a purpose other than character development. I'm sure we all want Telltale to get back to making characters we care about and, well we're all different, but having a former musician join the group would help make them more relatable to me personally, as someone who loves music.
We had Chuck play guitar in S1, which provided us with some of the background music. I don't recall if Beth from the TV show had anything like that pre-apocalypse, but since her actress is a singer, she got to do a few tunes in the show (two of which were cover renditions, I think).
For some reason when you said that, I just pictured a random dude smashing his guitar over a walker's head. Seriously. I think I'd lose my shit if that happened
That would be beautiful if that happened
Chuck?
Yeah I was going to say the same thing, he used to have that guitar and he played some music for them in ep3 i think.
I knew some people were gonna say Chuck but did it say anywhere that he was a musician before the outbreak? As far as I know he just knew how to play guitar.
I meant more along the lines of someone who played in a band and went on tour and stuff before the outbreak.
Ben said he used to play in his school band, if that counts.
As long as, if we do, there isn't a mega cheesy moment where she or he plays guitar around a campfire and sings.
Only if it isn't a guy with a regular old guitar. I hate that.
Now if it was a drummer who used the drums to lure zombies...
That's actually a pretty cool idea.
I wouldn't mind a guitarist though (or, I was thinking if they did that, they'd do bass since like you said, guitar would be pretty predictable) if they still carry their instruments around, perhaps they could teach Javi and/or Clem a thing or two about guitar (or bass?)
Roman's kinda down for the count, apparently.
Well we can't use Tom Pettu, the Postman already uses him.
How about Maynard James Keenan... well he just still be out in the desert making wine.
What? That'd be great.
He was in a band before the apocalypse, that's true.
A violinist who uses their bow to stab walkers?
Also, I don't think anyone mentioned it yet but Becca played the guitar for the peeps in Shel's Story in the 400 Days DLC.
Would be cool, but I doubt Telltale has the technology to program a (good) instrument playing scene because of the complexity of animating minute finger movements.
Really? I must've missed that
A banjo guy
After Becca finishes up and goes back to Shel and Stephanie, he complements them for bringing some needed music and starts to mention(again apparently) that he was in a band once.
Outrageous
Sigh
The hell
Huh.
May be a record
Die extra post
Lol

Good god
Why forum why
Roman died in S2e1
Hey, calm down, we get it!
It would be so, so, so unoriginal. Even less original than Gabe. And a cringefest.
