How would you start Season 2?
I would start Season 2 with Bruce Wayne attending a charity event at the circus. He has heard rumors the circus is being threatened by a protection racket and brought along his "other" suit just in case.
Any other ideas?

A mysterious series of high-profile thefts is plaguing Gotham, Batman is on the case.
I wouldn't.
Why are you against a season 2 ? The first one laid some extremely interesting grounds for further development.
I like what Telltale have done with the Batman universe and I want more, I want them to really define "their" Batman.
Two reasons.
Let's give them a chance, but we are a long way off anyway. I'm not in a hurry.
I would start with Batman being thrown through a wall...then Killer Croc chasing right after him.....the entire opening would be a cat and mouse with bats ambushing and then escaping to set up again. Really drive home how dangerous it is to be Batman.
I feel like it would probably work best if:
It starts off with us chasing down a more minor Batman villain, we stop them, police trust Batman even more now.
It starts right after the Joker attack.
Or the game opens with Bruce visiting Harvey in Prison/Arkham.
How about: Batman is missing - Barbara Gordon picks up the mantle in search of the caped crusader?
I'd like to start off seeing how Bruce/Batman is benefiting from his choice to reform Arkham or the GCPD-- start with a high point. Make it seem like things are pretty groovy on the outside. But soon after, we see Bruce/Batman holding onto doubts and suspicions he has based on the assassination attempt. Maybe these attempts have become regular events to the point of psychological torture? He knows and accepts that he has enemies, but perhaps he's angry and paranoid despite all the good he's doing. Then I dunno. Robin lays an egg.
Rehabilitated Harvey and Bruce having a nice, relaxing breakfast together, joking with each other and making small talk.
That's all I want.
"Hey Bruce, remember that time I tried to kill you and spin it as a suicide? Ha! What a day!"
"Ha-ha, yeah... Good times, good times."
The both of them laugh then take sips from their shared milkshake
"Hey Harvey, remember that time I slept with Selina?"
Overwhelmed with rage and confusion, Harvey explodes into a thousand coins
Batgirl needs to happen season 2, with a good love triangle with Catwoman. We absolutely need a decent romance option for Season 2.
Catwoman was extremely underwhelming in that department.
Starts off with a massive crime, and afterwards the Joker appears on monitors all over the city saying "its time for that favor you promised me, Brucie"
What if the player refused Joker's offer in Season 1?
It should open with a flashback inbetween Seasons, preferrably killing off a lot of important determinant characters so Telltale doesn't have to deal with them. It should also completely ignore our choices from Season 1.
you ok homie?
Someone's sore.
Not really, but sorry for being so salty.
Yeah, sorry.
I know season 1 disappointed you but for my part I really love what Telltale have done with the Batman lore, and I'd like them to add to the existing canon, to modify it as they see fit. Vicki Vale being a villain is a very good move.
I'm all for them to add completely new characters as well. They should never feel constrained by the existing Batman canon.
Quite the contrary, actually. Season 1 of Batman was great, one of the best 2016 games I played and one of the best Telltale games. And I also agree about the new spin on the lore being a good thing that worked well in the game.
My comment was about The Walking Dead Season 3 and their handling of previous Seasons.
I would do something similar to the start of Season 1, which actually was very relevant to the plot but didn't really seem like it.
If I had to throw in a classic Batman villain in there, I would hold off Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, etc. and use someone like Firefly, Deadshot, Deathstroke, maybe even Anarky which I would use to continue some of the corruption themes from the prior season. So maybe Firefly is burning down a supermarket or Deadshot or Deathstroke are trying to assassinate someone who you could fool through choices or maybe Anarky is leading a looting in some business offices, stuff like that.
The reason why I wouldn't use Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze is because I think Telltale could be creative and make them all high-ranking Wayne Enterprises employees whose descent into villainly depends on player choice, for example Ivy would be head of a botany sciences division and if the player doesn't give her funding or go on a date with her (quickly thought that one out) she'll go crazy, but if the player does do one or perhaps both, then maybe the Batsuit will get some upgrade that would reflect the botany sciences. Same sort of thing with Freeze and cryogenics, maybe help with his wife or something like that. As for Harley Quinn she always could be a Wayne Enterprises employee with a twist or her classic origin, either way she's saved for the Joker.
It's fine, we're all salty.
Oh, sorry I must have been confusing you with someone else.
Starts with Joker robbing a bank with his crew, he then slowly turns on his entire team until it is only him while escaping one of workers at the bank started shooting at him and joker than shots him and wounds him, the wounded worker taunts Joker and then screams "What do you believe huh? WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?" The joker than unmasks and says " I believe what doesn't kill you.... makes you stranger" and chuckles before leaving on a school bus
Start off as one of this season's villains. You play as the villain (maybe Joker or any other villain) and your actions as the villain would decide how it would affect the future episodes
11/10 original I want to see it.
I'm not sure actually, I didn't consider the refusing his offer choice when I wrote this
Really not much changes other than you refusing. He still says everything he does if you did accept his offer
By crying tears of joy, obviously.
That would be interesting to consider with Harley, but that would also be determined who she would be saved by. Also what about with advanced cybernetics though? There hasn't been a Batman character with that specialty. Lucius Fox is good with tech, but cybernetics are out of his fields. Could introduce a brand new character into the mix that specialize in that. Qadir Ali is one example and he's a Batgirl supporting character
Uh.... I don't remember there being a single determinant character in the entire series, the only thing that was determinant was where they were (Harvey in Arkham or Blackgate, etc) Correct me if I'm wrong, Batman was a very forgettable series
