How have the stats changed since release?
Im curious how the stats on certain choices in the first two episodes have changed since release, could someone post them? It usually takes a month or so for a more accurate portrayal of what the playerbase chooses. I would do it myself but my game is glitched and wont let me access the episode 2 choice screen.

I recorded the steam choices at the release on my old post that's just been unearthed. I'll post them here although someone else can check the current choices. Also you can check Youtube lets-plays near release day.
Episode 1
1. * Stayed the night in the Junkyard. - 51.5%
2. * Let the driver go. - 55.6%
3. * Allowed to roam free. (sold out Clementine) - 5.7%
4. * Went with Eleanor to the Junkyard. - 46.6%
5. * Escaped with your family. - 16%
Episode 2
1. * Stayed out of it. - 33.8%
2. * Surrendered. - 42.5%
3. * Took Jesus at his word. - 85.9%
4. * Let Conrad capture Clementine. (More like orchestrated her capture.) -8.6%
Hmm interesting so
Stay of leave junkyard
Go with Tripp or eleanor
Open fire or not
Shoot driver or not
Are all pretty even, the most interesting ones out of these are the open fire ones, people are much more pragmatic now than previous games. I'm wondering what the reasons for this is?
One sided
Give in to max
Trust Jesus
Both choices were pretty one sided in terms of how they were presented
Also predictably all the clementine related choices are heavily sided towards her I'm thinking this is unavoidable. people as a whole will side with clementine at every opportunity regardless of situation.
The intervene or stay out of it one is interesting, Im surprised so many people didnt defend an abused wife, still again the choice was pretty biased in it was labelled "go for him" or something. I wish telltale would use more neutral language in choices.
About the intervene or stay out one, I think it's because there's no good option. When I played it the first time, I defended her which means I told David that Kate was leaving him - which is definitely not what I wanted to say. Then I played it again and stayed out of it, but that meant I just watched as he abused her. There's no way you can stand up for her without saying she is going to leave him which is annoying.
Oh yes I remember that was the choice that blatantly lies to you about what would be said. So maybe those percentages are due to the large number of retcons by people
I'll check my stats!
Episode 1:
46% chose to head back out onto the road
45% shot the driver
95% got locked up with Clem
51% went to the junkyard with Tripp
84% stayed with Clementine
None of episode's 2 choice's are 50/50:
61% told David that Kate wanted to leave him
58% opened fire (41% surrender, 0.8% or sth negotiated)
84% trusted Jesus
90% killed Conrad
95% capitulated to Max's commands
So they only changed a few percentiles.
Like you said, I think almost everyone that plays this game is heavily biased towards Clementine, but I gotta give it to them. They just haven't tried very hard to make you like and care about Javi's (feelings) more than about Clem's
the last one about Max is just stupid: who isn't gonna drop their guns when one of your people is literally dying and needs medical help?
Just checked.
46.3% headed back on the road
45% chose to shoot
94.9% got locked up
51.3% went with Tripp
84.3% stayed with Clem
Episode 2
38.3% stayed out of it
58.1% opened fire
84.4% took him at his word
90% killed Conrad
95.5% capitulated to Maxs demands
Probably the most surprising for me is shooting the driver, its pure cold blooded murder and nearly half of all players chose it
Honestly I played it twice and I just did both options to see what would happen. I've actually thought about it 'a lot'; the system of justice is different in an apocalypse. You can't trust 99% of people to be good people, plus we KNEW that this guy was in the new frontier. At this point we already know that they're extreme bad guys. I think that, thinking as Javi, this guy is a threat to his family. He WILL go back to his people and tell them where Javi is, so he might as well shoot him. Killing people means less when you've already killed dozens, and even more walkers. I'm not justifying it, I just think life is different in an apocalypse.
I shot him on my second play through as well. I might have shot him on my first if I had been paying attention, combination of disinterest and being in voice chat talking about it with a friend. I do seem to recall Javier wakes up and immediately starts asking about his family, even though none of them should have been found. Didn't seem like a good idea to let him run back to where he found me knowing I wasn't alone there, and I also just didn't like his stupid face. I'd had enough of this group on my first run.
