The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - Stories (Story 2)
This is my Second story on The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Game.
In these threads, I give my point of view for untold parts of the above game's story.
This Story is a "prequel" of the first story.
There will be a sequel of this story, in the future.
These are all short stories.
So, let's start:
A New Start
------------------
It was a beautiful, sunny morning and the walkers had quit messing with the trailer's door.
(Ava) -They're gone! Maybe it's time to get out of here!
It was Ava who was trying to wake up Clementine without disturbing her little companion; AJ was orphaned from his born and he only had Clementine to protect him in this world.
(Clementine) -Mmhhhmm... Wh-What? They're gone? Well that's good. Finally!
They were all trapped in this trailer-like vehicle. It has been a day since walkers had pushed Clementine and Ava into this "prison". They had to get out of there, eventually.
(Clementine) -Alright, pull the shelves on my mark. 1...2...
(Ava) -3! , and with all their strength, they managed to unblock the door and open their way to freedom.
(Clementine) -AJ! AJ wake up! We have to go boy. Come on!
(Ava) -It was nice to meet you, Clementine and as we said; if you need food or shelter, you know who to call. I'm going to find my people at the rendezvous now.
(Clementine) -It was nice to meet you too, Ava. If I'll ever be too hungry, I'll track you down. Thanks for your offer.
Clementine puts AJ in her backpack.
(Ava) -Ok, then. See you soon, Clementine!
(Clementine) -Don't be too sure about that. I don't think we'll ever cross paths again, but we'll see.
(Ava) -Ok, whatever... See ya!
(Clementine) -Bye, Ava!
Clementine takes the path that leads out of the woods. She was done dealing with forests, for now. She would like to be in a community with food, water and walls, but the more she was thinking about it, the more she wanted to be alone. She didn't like groups. Every group she has joined, until now, has fallen apart.
"It's better to be alone", she thought. "Noone can hurt you in any way, except from walkers; but noone can help you, either..."
A strange feeling of anger and depression filled Clementine's heart. She could have done more to save her friends, she knew that.
AJ was a bit too quiet this morning. He seemed as if he was sad. Clementine tried to cheer him up.
(Clementine) -What's up, goofball? Are you ok?
(AJ) -Eewaaaouu, moaned AJ.
(Clementine) -I'll take that as yes, then. I know you're hungry, I am too. Maybe we should have accepted Ava's offer. I mean, I can handle a few days without food, but I don't think you can do that, too.
It has been three days now that Clementine and AJ hadn't eatten a good meal. They had to find something edible or else they would starve to death. They still had a half-empty bottle water, but that was all.
Suddenly, a car and a truck stopped on the road, maybe 40 or 50 meters away from them. She was almost out of the woods, but she had to hide so as to be sure about her's and AJ's safety. A huge rock was the perfect solution.
(Clementine) -AJ, shush now! , she wispered.
AJ didn't make a single noise.
(Unknown Man 1) -Hey! What's going on here?
(Unknown Man 2) -We're carrying loot which were collected from Wellington when we took it down.
(U.M. 1) -Oh, Ok then. I have to check your cargo, though.
(U.M. 2) -Alright, but make it quick! They are waiting for us at the rendezvous.
(U.M. 1) -Don't worry about that. That's why I'm here. To make sure that you'll get there quick. The boss doesn't like to wait for too long...
(U.M. 2) -So what are we waiting for? Let's go!
(U.M. 1) -Alright, guys. Let's go. You go first, I'll follow you.
(U.M. 2) -Yeah, ok. I get it.
And they left.
Wellington. Clementine had heard about that place and she had went with Kenny there, though, they didn't stay for a long time. They said they were over-capacity at first, but after a month they were not full. They stayed for a week there enjoying a carefree life. Unfortunately, a dark and cold night Wellington was taken down by The New Frontier and they had to get the hell of there; but Kenny was shot at his back and he didn't manage to live for a long time after that. He died of dehydration and blood loss a few days later...
Clementine felt really sad just thinking about it. A tear came out of her eye as she was walking down the road and she swept it. She didn't have time to feel sad. She didn't have time to feel anything.
(Clementine) -Come on, AJ. Let's find you..., well, Us some breakfast.
And they kept moving.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
I know that there was no action in this story, but that's my view: to give you guys a story with "deep" meaning (but not as good as TellTale!).
If you want action, play The Walking Dead games.
Thank you for your time and have a good day!
Comments
I will make more stories, but I would like to ask everyone's opinion: do you guys think that I should make more action scenes in these stories?
Please give me your opinion about this. Thank you in advance.

Action isn't really necessary. If you think action would fit in a certain scene then do it, but don't add action just because you feel like you should.
I like it. It was nice, despite it's short length.
Are you okay with us posting our own stories on here?
Well my personal opinion on action scenes has always been that the action isn't whats important, it the tension build up that leads to the action. If an action scene is just thrown in for the sake of action it doesn't have weight or impact.
But its your story, so run it like you feel.
Of course! Do anything you like. I'd be glad to read your story!
Thank you guys for the feedback!
I have already written a small sequel of this story, but I want to make it longer, as you said.
EDIT: The sequel is now out.
