You know, it's weird how most of the time, when you're actually still in the dream, you almost never question it, no matter how ridiculous it is

like you just subconsciously assume it's real

then you wake up, and you're like "how the fuck did I think that was real"

  • 7 Hours of Gameplay...That is not going to do Deltino's roids any good...he will not enjoy those 7 hours of deep character development....so because of him...they are cutting to 59 minutes....Thanks @Deltino

    1 month to go..

I hope we get two hours of gameplay just like the TftB episode 5.

    #hoping

  • I find your optimism revolting.

Even though I want to believe, too...

Hahaha being positive really helps a lot actually.

I really want an episode that will capture my interest in the game again. Don't get me wrong, Ep1 and Ep2 are good but I find it hard for me to relate to because I've been hooked with the series since Season 1.

Please, fix the graphics for iOS devices. It sucks.

  • "Clem has a scene that broke me"

I doubt it Job! So far your "team" have failed to replicate how we felt during season 1 and even parts of season 2. We'll see though but I'm not expecting anything good lol

  • The closest you'll get to that is Michonne Episode 2. That was about 55 minutes long. (Plus that Episode wasn't that good, just like the whole Michonne mini series.)

Depends on the writing, Tewudin. What was their last forty five minute episode?

  • I agree, Season 1 still is the best season. The feels, emotions is top-notch. The only redeeming scene for me on Season 2 was the Wellington part with Kenny and Clem (that literally broke my heart).

This season? Still has no "emotional" connection on characters whatsoever.

  • Yes same! I cared so much about all the characters in season 1. Looking back now i even miss characters I didn't like and that's saying something.
Season 2 only had maybe 3 moments that made me emotional and they all had season 1 elements, Omid's death, the Lee flashback and the Kenny farewell/Wellington ending.

Season 3 is just awful in every way and it really was the final straw for me because i now know that Telltale are the not the same as they once were and it's very sad that they have seemingly become lazy or just not interested in their past success. They fixed something that was never broke after season 1 when they reduced everything such as episode lengths, limited hubs, no puzzles, no character interaction and asking them questions to find out their backgrounds. I could go on and on about how shitty they are as a company now

  • I find the Season 3 lacking of character interaction that somehow will help players grew a connection to the characters. It's so fast-paced to me that I didn't even care if "someone" gets killed. (except Clem and AJ)

  • Could we get a few words in a .txt document?

I'll take a mere single solid frame. That is already a handful.

  • If Telltale was able to go with multiple characters in Game of Thrones, why can't they do it in The Walking Dead? :)

  • Because they wanted to focus on Javier to draw the newcomers.

  • Game of thrones differs to me because it focuses on different locations. The walking dead pretty much always has all its story focused on one group at one time.

400 days sort of worked as it was similar to thrones

  • Jeez...I thought episode 3 will be released on this month...

    Jesus fckn Christ...

episode 3 is release on march last week of feb/first week of march would be where we get news like screenshots, key art, and/or a trailer. for the majority of feb's duration will probs just get minor news.

  • I just replayed season 1, and every episode is TWICE as long as episode 1+2 of season 3 together...
I mean seriously, why would they do that? They must have known people would be pissed if they make episodes that short, and still charge us the full price.
Also I have to say that season 1 and 2 were made with so much afford, the story was great and I really loved/hated the characters. I miss that in season 3!

Or am I alone with this opinion?

  • I'm still hoping for playable Clem in present time i want it to be like it was in TFTB with 2 playable characters!

  • Yes me too, it's not like I don't like Javier or something, but he's just not Clementine and I don't think I'll have this kind of "bond" with him like I have it with Clem

  • We'll never know what they like. What a cliffhanger.

    Telltale, hire this (wo)man.

  • But take what I said with a grain of salt, since I only know just as much as everyone.

Who knows? Maybe EP3 would get a Feb release anyways?

Was it that cool HBO miniseries everyone liked?

  • True. I was just trying to making a point. I actually love the game.

  • Its mostly because every positive steam review is like 1 word while every negative is long and detailed and the review scores keeps getting lower and lower, but lets go with that.

To be fair, it's still pretty high, for all intents and purposes

It needs to get to 69% before it'll be considered Mixed by Steam. It's currently at 85%.

From what I've seen in the past, it usually takes until a game falls to 75% or below before people really start questioning the quality of it. That's when the rating really starts effecting the game's sales and/or image. On Steam, at least.

  • Steam reviews are really at 83% (according to steam data base which is more accurate) and was on a pretty steady decline until there was suddenly a ton of new positive reviews which were as simple as "yea" now its starting to slow drop again, and if episode 3 is anything like 1 and 2 Id expect it to continue to drop.

Obviously 83% isnt that bad, but considering it first came out a month ago and its score is already lower than most Telltale games (for reasons that arnt for performance) its not exactly a great positive.
