Fair enough, but being in the 80s still puts it in a decently high percentile when it comes to review scores.
The point I'm trying to make being that even if it's slowly dropping, it's still got a fair ways to go before it reaches the 'danger zone,' so to speak. It won't be until it drops another 10% or so before it'll start leaving a notable impact on sales, reputation, etc.
And I just want to note that, yeah, I want to see S3 improve, too. And if putting a dent in the review scores can accomplish that, I'll be okay with it. All I'm saying is that where it is currently, it's not low enough to do that.
Steam reviews are really at 83% (according to steam data base which is more accurate) and was on a pretty steady decline until there was sud… moredenly a ton of new positive reviews which were as simple as "yea" now its starting to slow drop again, and if episode 3 is anything like 1 and 2 Id expect it to continue to drop.
Obviously 83% isnt that bad, but considering it first came out a month ago and its score is already lower than most Telltale games (for reasons that arnt for performance) its not exactly a great positive.
You know, it's weird how most of the time, when you're actually still in the dream, you almost never question it, no matter how ridiculous i… moret is
like you just subconsciously assume it's real
then you wake up, and you're like "how the fuck did I think that was real"

Lies about the season opener being so big they had to split it into two so we only got really short episodes.
The fact that one episode was split into two means we only have four episodes this year of story because that's all they could come up with.
The fact that our choices were destroyed in 5 minute rush jobs where little effort went into the character models of Edith and Jane and Kenny.
The fact that no matter how you act to anybody they still love you.
The writing is lazy and linear.
No emotional investment in the characters because we're not given time to get to know them.
Oh and Job's German interview where he says it's what happens in your hearts and mind that counts not what's on screen and the games are only tailored to how you reply to a character.
Each episode was barely over an hour, despite Kevin Bruner saying the premiere was so big that they split it into two. Blatant money grab opportunity.
Kevin Bruner also marketed 42 starting points for Clementine as if past choices would matter. Literally NOTHING matters except your season 2 ending. Blatant false advertising.
Players have little reason to actually care about Javiers family compared to Clem, who we have literally known for years. Her getting put on the backburner for these jabronis is offensive to loyal fans.
Choices are ridiculously one-sided because the player already knows Clementine and Jesus and the stats reflect this. No truly difficult choices except whether to shoot the unarmed truck driver or not. Oh and the shitty choices dont even affect the game. Tripp trusts you not matter what, Conrad always hates you, etc.
Javier and his family dont accurately reflect the apocalypse. Clem changes after just a few months, same with Becca. Hell, even Carl kills someone after just a few weeks of it. Yet after 4+ years Mari is still an innocent ray of sunshine and Gabe still reminisces about his father and acts angsty despite it being years into the apocalypse. They should all have many issues by now yet they all act like they're from some cliche soap opera and not the Walking Dead.
Melissa confirmed that lots of content, especially Clementine content, has been cut. She also confirmed that Telltale is rewriting like mad and has little idea where the season is heading, despite having 2+ years to plan and repeatedly saying that their other projects wouldn't detract from the quality of their other titles
Barely anytime as Clem, when she was promised as the secondary protagonist to Javier. I'm okay with Javier having more time, but right Clem at most has 10 minutes compared to Javier's 2 hours.
Choices not affecting Clem's personality, I know choices barely mean anything in TellTale in consequences. They won't change the story in anyway at all. But They can change how a character acts. Look at Kenny in Season 1, depending whether you choose to help him kill Larry or not, you get 2 drastic versions of him. Lilly to an extent as well. And since Clem is barely playable, her personality should change more.
Episode length. This one is kinda self explanatory. Both of us know no one is a fan of these 1 hour episodes. But this split into 2 episodes because it was too big for one is a straight up lie. It was just a trick to get some extra money for what is essentially a 4 episode season. Extending the length also can help Clem's playtime since all you have to do is extend her time, making her time longer and episode longer.
I would also add what happened with the Season 2 endings, but seeing how it turned out. I don't think there's anything they can do now.
I fucking hate telltale for that shit. Take TFTBL for example, they managed to pull off two playable characters great, so why the fuck not for TWD? Let people play as javi for new players and clem for old players. As if more new people are gona play this shit....

If there is a scene where Javier and Kate is about to do some nice "stuff" that involves removing clothes. Will you resist or will you start removing your clothes to?
I might try to resist. But hey, when a lady wants it and asking nicely, I won't say no.
So just for a second, I am gonna talk dirty.

Im sure episode 3 will start with another Javi and Kate flashback mid way into having an affair so if you were a player who wanted to try and stay away from Kate you are now stuck with it.

I was also joking man. As for Kate, I'm not emotionally invested enough to cry over her if something happens, but her situation isn't looking good. She might get healed by magical plot devices, but who knows.
I was only poking a little fun, didn't intent to come off as mean-spirit.
Maybe I am just optimistic, but I feel that Kate won't die at least not now. And I don't think David is willing to let her die.

Prescott might have a super-highly advanced tech that can cure even the worst kind of wounds.
Hell, I think it can even cure the zombie … morevirus!
I think I am in the same level of investment as you. I am invested enough to care but not enough to cry.
You know, it's kind of interesting if the player makes Javier all flirty with Kate and stuff, they are sort of doing same thing that Shane and Lori were. But, it is subverted since Rick is the protagonist and is a victim to that, while Javier is the protagonist causing that.
Shane was also a surrogate father to Carl like Javier to Gabe (sort of), David was a soldier and Rick was a sheriff (close enough) AND David was going to a hospital when he was separated. Guess who was in a hospital and separated? Rick Grimes.
Wow, glad that you pointed this out, I never saw Javier and David from that perspective.
I wonder if that means that David is what would have happened to Rick if he never found his family. And Javier is what would have happened to Shane if he and Lori never got reunited with Rick.

Fixing graphics would require a much bigger file size (now that the minimum for iPhones is 32GB, they really should start improving graphics) - or at least give players the option to play in HD textures (which would require you to download them) or shitty textures if they don't have the space.
I play on Steam so I don't mind, but it'd be good for mobile players.
Lowkey hoping Telltale listens to all our complaints though.
Hahaha being positive really helps a lot actually.
I really want an episode that will capture my interest in the game again. Don't get me… more wrong, Ep1 and Ep2 are good but I find it hard for me to relate to because I've been hooked with the series since Season 1.
Please, fix the graphics for iOS devices. It sucks.

If we did notice something was up we would be lucid! I wish I could lucid dream lol

Simple math of total reviews puts it at 85%.
yup
"SUPER exited about the feedback"
Haha
Can a moderator please add the Steam DB to the news section?
How is Steam Data base more accurate when all you need to do is simple math to find the percentage?

Can I ask. What are the main issues people have with the episodes? No fandom rampage on this, just the basics of it.
As far as I can tell most of it comes down to the lack of connection people feel with Javier and Co.
Is that a real mountain dew flavor?

At least me, it comes down to 3 things.

Imagine Clem and Gabe watching in the background xD
Gabe: "What the fuck are they doing?!"
Clem: "Looks like kissing stuff to me."
Kate is dying dude, so I wouldn't count on it unless you're into some kinky stuff.
Over my dead body
Trust me, if Gabe even touches a tiny fragment of Clem's hair, I'll stab him in the dick with a samurai sword

Something like this?
I try too...
Full review in russian, so nvm -_-
I've got a replica sword from The Last Samurai, if you need one.
Steam Database get's every single review and averages it out.

Awesome, thanks. I'll put it to good use.

We've shared a beautiful, important and valuable moment with Kate, and yes, I'm talking about smoking weed together, but it's still not enough.
Nothing brings people more closer together than smoking weed.
While driving. I'm sure that is safe.
Oh god, don't let any wuv scene be like that gross crap!
