IS AJ DISABLED/MENTALLY CHALLENGED???
I don't know if it's just telltale being lazy, but AJ doesn't seem..... okay. It is mentioned that its odd that Aj is not being able to talk at his age, and he's been around guns alot??? Maybe he's deaf??? Idk, I just want to know what everyone else thinks.

we had a discussions on this...it is possible he is...but we will have to wait and see.
Well what did you expect from a baby that lived amid the ruins of the walking dead world mate?
I'm surprised he isn't deaf. What with all those gunshots heard by undeveloped ears
tfw we already dropped Aj like 10 times
From all we know, he could be. Realistically speaking, he should be hard of hearing based on all the gunshots he was exposed to as an infant, or just have speech delay, mild autism or be completely fine and healthy.
I have a feeling AJ is gonna speak at a pivotal moment in the game, and it'll be all emotional.
Aww, like she finally find him, and his first word is "Clem"? I need that to happen
Yeah shooting Jane, inside while holding AJ couldn't have been good for him.
Also shooting Rebecca while he was still on her lap, shootout in general in which he fell on the ground, car crash, and more.
It'll be like Maggie on the Simpsons.
I always thought he was deaf but during the Wellington flashback when you have to guess his drawing and if you guess it he makes an expression like it's correct so I guess he's not.
Let's just hope AJ doesn't grow up in A House Divided.
According to the Wellington flashback, AJ is not deaf. He could understand what Clem was saying to him. So, most likely, he ain't deaf.
I just think he's not ready to speak yet. I mean, would you want to talk when everything around you is trying to eat or kill you? lol I don't think he's autistic, because he does look Clem in the eyes and he doesn't look away. He does react to sound, like the walkers at the trailer when they met the bald chick from ANF. He's just not there yet.
He's an infant child, a toddler at most. Some kids just don't learn how to talk as soon as others.
I spoke my first words when I was 3, and I'll admit that my mother was worried that I had some kind of problem, but doctors said that it was due to me being too hyperactive. AJ just needs some time, if he's still got time that is.
I mean... yeah, probably.
He is born during the zombie apocalypse and his mother went through a tremendous amount of stress during her pregnancy. On top of all of this, the boy was born during a walker attack and soon thereafter was in the middle of a fire fight. He's gonna have some emotional scars and some development issues.
