I don't really care if they release a teaser or a trailer for Episode 3, but I would like to see an announcement such as "We are still working on TWD: ANF and it's gonna take us a while to finish it" or something like that.
I don't really know what Telltale is thinking here. We don't get a next time on section before the credits which pretty much every series ha… mores gotten. Okay fine, we'll accept that I guess. At least I did for a while. But then we have radio silence for pretty much all of January only to be told news is coming in February. So for all we know we'll be sitting in complete silence for all of February again. This business strategy is so stupid and I don't understand why they do it.
I understand if there's nothing to report but I think letting people know that is all you need. Instead people are left wondering "I wonder if something new will be released this week". A trailer? A screenshot? A tease? Anything? When usually I come to the forum here and see "Episode 3 Waiting Thread - New Tweets from Job". It's like so aggravating to me to see that. And it is like that for every single series they do. And I'm sorry but it felt like we waited less time… [view original content]

Well it is my first time playing a telltale series while the episodes are in production. I mean, I played season 1 and 2 long after their release and finished them in something like a day or two at most. So this waiting is killing me xD

Previously, yes, but Telltale has moved back to monthly episodes. That might not be the case for New Frontier as much, since they have seemingly delayed Episode 3 by an extra month to take fan feedback into account, but as of last year, most Telltale series have gone back to having monthly episode waits.
They release a two part premiere that is a deceptive cash grab that falsely promised past choices will matter.
Then they get defensive and say a bunch of nonsense about playing with your heart, not your brain. Ridiculous.
Now Job promises to come answer questions on the forums because were "so important" but bails twice and is apparently too busy to even leave us a small message. Like dude, people were up on the forums waiting for you until way late.
And we are just expected to wait for the next episode in complete silence, like we always fucking do.
Who is running this business model? I highly suggest taking an introductory community college course on business and public relations because you are tanking your relationship with loyal fans, who are the ones that have been steadfastly buying every title you churn out despite the acute drop in quality and length.
I'm honestly starting to think that Telltale no longer deserves us as loyal customers.
I'm getting really pissed off with Telltale.

Actually it was what happens in your heart AND mind, not what happens on the screen.
A lot of us felt that way during the Season 2 days or during The Wolf Among Us. But the products were mildly satisfying so we tried to move on. Now I think it's getting a lot worse to the point we feel somewhat insulted and tired of handing money over to someone who doesn't care enough to communicate with us or in a way lies to us. It definitely isn't good. I'm trying to be really nice about this but yeah it definitely doesn't look good at all with them and I think we're approaching the point where crowbcat could end up making a video.

Job won't show up...no doctor no bullcrap,in this world we live in the loyal fans eat shit for loving something that someone big used to make big things idgaf anymore
Listening to this at work with my headphones and I keep laughing at everything in the video so everyone is lookin' at me like a crazy person because they don't know why filing papers is so funny.
As I recall (I could be wrong) Job used the word "might" he also said if things calm down here on the forums and even a blind person can see that it has not.

I had a crazy dream last night that I was going to play Episode 3 and it was 7 hours long almost like a whole game so basically I was in an alternate universe.
if things calm down here on the forums and even a blind person can see that it has not.
Yeah, because clearly making promises to answer questions on the forums, then to go back on that and bail out, is definitely going to make people calm down...

No, what I was saying was if Job expected things to calm down, bailing out on what he said isn't the best way of trying to achieve that.
And, anyway, the forums really aren't that bad. People are just speaking their minds and making it clear to Telltale that the lack of quality they're putting into season 3 isn't justifiable. You and several others are just overreacting, in my opinion.
There's a difference between speaking your mind and lashing out because you don't like the game. You say I'm overreacting but I say it's a large number of others who are the ones overreacting. People go apeshit over the smallest things and actively search for things to be mad about.
For example Job makes one simple comment saying "Most people don't understand that it's not about what you see on screen but your heart and mind" (I don't remember it word for word) but what so called "fans" heard was "Our fans are just stupid!"
It's absolutely ridiculous the way people have been acting.

Sick or not, unless you're in a coma, not going onto twitter for 3 minutes to apologize for a second postponing and instead leaving us in silence is unacceptable.
I'm lmao'ing at so much of this stuff-- especially the, "we're setting an awesome example for the kids" while they smoke weed thing.
"Yeah, because smoking weed while there is a zombie apocalypse is the absolute worst thing that could happen."
I had many of these exact thoughts while I was playing the game. They were so concerned about "ethics" around the kids-- kids who have seen things that only war vets see in "normal" conditions.
Also, dude asks Clementine, "walkers? What do you call the ones that run?" Game sins guy: "There are walkers that run? Since when?"
Yeah... like... EVER? They're not in the comics or in these games. I don't watch the show, but I've never heard of runners in the show.... Jeeeesus....

What do you mean?
Apparently jobs was in a social hangout and said he'd be on the forums today to talk to fans. There's a forum made about it.
Being Irish is fucking great.

Which forum? Here or Reddit? If here, which thread? Thx

And here we go again. Waiting. Actually I realy don't care anymore. Ping me when the next ep is out on PS4 EU.
No, silence is good. They used up the word "soon" in the last two season, so I'm sure people would freak out if they tried that a third time..
...and awesome.

Prepare for 2-3 month waits for each episode or longer.
LOL, it actually has been that long at times?
Sometimes it's even longer.
If it works, it ain't stupid

And shipping.

That's assuming they arrive on time not factoring delays, etc.

Ah yes, that makes even less sense. Delude yourself into loving a game despite the bugs and plots holes and terrible writing that is on your screen.
They have an excuse for any situation.
You gotta love GCN for this.
35 minutes of sins across two short episodes lmao
I laughed at the part where the video earns a massive amount of sins because of the Season 2 conclusion being trivialized in A New Frontier.

That'd be the only justifiable excuse.

I dreamed that too!
