Charles if you're fancy!

I want more characters like Chuck. Witty, friendly, always had candy. He was a really uplifting outsider. We need more fun like that. Oh and why doesn't he have an avatar here on the forums?

  • Chuck was a good little creation. I can't work out if having him in it for just a short time was a good or bad thing though.

On one hand, I wanted to learn more about him as a character. But then again, he's the sort of person you wouldn't expect to form any long term connection with, so having him die when he did may have been the best thing for his character. And probably most realistic as he seems to be thereabouts 60 and "likes a drink"

  • With the fast pace they're going with if we meet someone like chuck he'll die after 5 min of his/her introduction

  • Chuck and his guitar, just chilling away. It's sad and beautiful at the same time.

  • And Charles is responsible for Clem's whole badassery. He tells Lee to teach her to shoot and provides the scissors to cut her hair. So He is pretty important to the series. The guitar playing is cool too. I think there should be two avatars; one with the guitar and one with the shovel!

... badassery? All he did was suggested for her how to shoot a gun, and to cut her hair (which really only got her into trouble once in this series).

I feel like other survivors could've taught her all different unique survival skills, but nope.

Kinda crappy how he was treated in EP4.

  • The dude had character. Even from the second you met him. It was a pleasure to get to know him and hear what he had to say. It's a shame we'll probably never have another character like him.

  • Like Molly, Pete and Walt he was a pretty good minor character. What's special about him is that instead of turning out to be another asshole what he said to Lee actually had value and helps Clementine to this day.

  • Chuck was poorly handled in my opinion as i feel he could have been a main character for season 1 and potentially leaves to go his own way prior to Clementine going to the stranger at the hotel. Unfortunately i don't think we'll ever see a character like him again in The Walking Dead.

  • Chuck is such an underrated character. I fucking hate how he was handled in episode 4. Whoever wrote his fate deserves to die.

You've ironically summed up my feelings about how JT Petty handled Sarah's death

  • Yep. Chuck and Sarah's conclusions were undoubtly bad written.

    Finally someone realizes this.

But yeah, Chuck was easily one of my top 10 characters in the whole game series. I wish he stayed alive at least until the finale of season 1.

  • And Nick's second death.

  • I seem to remember seeing one before but couldn't find it. And was surprised at the characters who did.
