Pretty much all of this. On the note about David, I'd also like to not see him end up as a one dimensional throw away antagonist, and make the situation with ANF more complex than bad guys gonna bad guy. It'd be nice to see there is a subset of the group that doesn't agree with Davids military rule, taking a more ruthless approach and that conflict was what Clem had gotten mixed up in.
If none of this happens, I suppose I'd be content with a Garcia family road trip.
Well, as soon as you said this... nope, not happening.
Yeah, that's what I meant by David not instantly hate you for Mariana's death.
I honestly just want an incredible amount of nuance and detail at this point. I want Javier to shape depending on the player like Lee did. I want people to remember your dialogue. I want characters to like or dislike you based on choices and dialogue. I want dialogue where you can determinately uncover crucial info. Just make choices matter to where we dont all feel like we're being forced down the exact same path.
I want clems actions to be based on our previous choices...I had one For episode 1 it's when clem shoots a guy in the head from fake bullets... I mean if I made clem not shoot Lee and Kenny she wouldn't have shot the guy by accident you feel me homie? That way they will please there fans like a...uh...u know...
Flashbacks were all a dream! Season 2 ending choice matters with Kenny/Jane still optionally being alive and in the present story!
Lee comes back
Getting cancelled.
I was figuratively thinking the exact same thing. When I finished ep. 2 the first thing I thought was - "this better not turn into some Dr. Phil bullshit."
Cuz, honestly, as much as we try to deny it, no Garcia family member is anywhere close to as interesting as Clem is. Besides that, I liked the flashbacks and found the story interesting.
What I was thinking for Ep.3 would be an entire flashback episode about Clem's motivation behind hating/leaving tnf. This could be entirely decision based because the end result is all the same and it would show us David's character...
Almost what everyone said above...
... and decent pacing, but I am asking for way too much.
ANOTHER LEE DREAM SCENE
That's actually a pretty good idea.
More screentime time for my beautiful Clem. Like, really. And I want to play as her DURING THE PRESENT. Not just during flashbacks.
If Kate has to die, then I want it to be at least something that makes sense. Not just a stupid death without any deep dialogue first.
Same with Eleanor - I like her so much, but I'm afraid.
I want to understand David reasons. He can't be a silly bad guy just like Carver.
Clem talking about, remembering or even dreaming with Lee. Or Kenny.
Gabe not being a pussy.
Some fun time with Jesus.
Some romance, why not.
More interactivity, because if I want to watch a movie, I could do that with Netflix.
THANK YOU!
Season 3 is a disaster when we talk about interactivity
THIS
At least 2 hours long to compensate for the terribly short first two episodes and to give the characters a chance to actually get to know each other for more than a day, as well as giving the players more opportunities to get attached to them.
And more Clementine, playable or not. I want to feel like she's part of the story and not like she was just shoehorned in because Telltale didn't want to upset the fans. I want Javier and Clem to sit down and talk honestly about things. I want MyClementine to start to show up.
I'd be satisfied with these two things.
Kenny and Jane are resurrected
Lily is revealed to be the true mastermind behind the new frontier
Christa returns to kill Clem for abandoning her and the death of Omid.
Luke is revealed to have survived drowning in freezing water.
Aj is revealed to be the resurrected incarnation of Lee.
Didn't you know? Everyone is alive and well, living happily ever after under the lukewarm sea.
Longer episodes, for one. Preferably season 1 length, but I would settle for season 2 length.
Character development. I don't hate Gabe like everyone else on this board. Instead, I feel nothing for him, or any of the group besides Clementine, really. I want to like this group, but I don't have a reason to yet.
Dialogue. This kind of goes hand in hand with character development. Every time we have an option to talk to somebody, they have like 1 line then get back to whatever they were doing. I hope episode 3 changes that.
Farmboys our friends--not food!
This your first Telltale game since season 1?
