I had a dream last night TWDG was a co-op game. Not done in the storytelling way, just, it was basically a 'you run around shoot shit' and you could even swap between characters. Unfortunately the aim was shitty, the guns kept running out of rounds and then took FOREVER to reload, but despite that Clementine still carried an aura of badassery about her, and it was Season 3 Clemmy which was really cool, because she took out some aliens. I'm so proud of her.
Oh and then I dreamed of Luke, climbing some weird, wall thing, and there was this climbing expert guy who I could've sworn was one of the old ex-James Bond actors. He was saying how you have the mountain axe attached to the clip thing so you wouldn't fall [because apparently, that's how health and safety works in my dreams] and it was during this weird attack from these people in these sci fi air ships that are trying to kill everybody, and that's why they were up there trying to hide up from them [even superman somewhere in a bush] but Luke got attached to a bike for some reason, and it's weighing him down and he's trying to get this thing unclipped from him so he doesn't fall to his death, but it's attached by one of these key ring hoops and you know what a bitch those are to unhook your keys from, so a bike god it's even worse! And then he was like 'fuck this' and went to hide somewhere else and then breathed in some weird gas and bloated up like big balloon and only headphones would cure him.
Oh oh oh! And Ava was there at one point, and apparently there was some side DLC episode my brain reasoned I just forgot about because it was so obscure. It was based on Ava and her family in a dark gothy house where the walkers are trying to get in, and Ava's folks go crazy, and I knew it was her, because they were all bald. And then there's Clem on her own randomly and she's 11 and she's bored and goes 'I need to get a house plant' and so goes to buy one...yeah, that was probably the only thing that made any sense.

Someone explain this to me, because I don't get all the pessimism I'm seeing for an episode that hasn't even released yet. I understand being pissed about the negatives of the last two episodes and Telltale in general, but why would you discourage them from making the best episode they possibly can? Why be needlessly bitter and bring everybody's expectations down further? No one knows for a fact how good this episode will be, unless you've somehow played it.
And don't think I'm defending anything that happened in the first two episodes, if the trend continues for the rest of the season I'll shout from the mountaintops my frustrations.
I think that people like to be pesimist so instead of being let down, they will be positively surprised if the episode will actually turn out to be good.

Pretty much. Since I'm not overly fond of the game to begin with, I have no problem being negative about it. But that doesn't mean I can't be pleasantly surprised.
I think that people like to be pesimist so instead of being let down, they will be positively surprised if the episode will actually turn out to be good.
Because after being screwed over so massively it's hard to be optimistic about things. Also not to mention the "we stick to our story" and "you are in the minority" fiasco, and when asked if there will be more Clem they said "she will be in the episode" and the fact that we pretty much know our choices wont matter because there were hardly any questions in the generator to begin with.
It's hard to have high hopes when the only reason to have them is "there's a delay" (which STILL hasn't been confirmed even though it's obvious.) Also we don't even know if they're fixing things. For all we know there is a delay because they were never ready to begin with. It's possible.

I have this funny feeling that if Episode 3 fails to live up to the majority's expectations on it's official release date, we'll get a response like this from Telltale the next day:
Regardless, I'm still curious about what to expect from Episode 3 and how Telltale will handle the conflict between Javier and David, especially with the circumstances around the death of David's daughter.
NEXT MONTH!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
This is a complete flipping joke!!
Late next month is insulting to the fans. What happened to monthly releases???
Telltale earned my last dollar after this game!!
This company has sold out!

Yeah... he won't be killed next season, or the season after that, or the season after that, and for all seasons to come. Unless JDM wants off the show, which, seeing his portrayal, I doubt that will be anytime soon.
Why do i get this feeling for season 7 that they won't take down Negan
Robert Kirkman "OH WE DID NOT BRING DOWN NEGAN THIS SEASON BUT YOU BET WE WILL DO IT NEXT SEASON!"

I in no way liked ep 1 and 2 of S3, but I really hope episode 3 is good. I also understand why people are mad and say bad things about ep3. However, I really want ep 3 to be what saves season 3, ep 3 is what is going to define this season so we need to hope it takes a step in the right direction.

Anyone else rather aggravated about how Telltale shames us for providing criticism? They act like we are huge jerks for caring about the quality of this beloved series and then pretend like we are the only ones in the entire world who thought ill of the 1 and 1/4 episode premiere.

Nah, those idiots just mixed it up with the physical disc release. And anyway, never trust any source other than the developers or other official sources.

There's a fine line between providing criticism and being scary. Some people definitely have been scary, but what's this shaming thingy? Did something happen? I haven't been here the last day or so.

I got a 22MB update earlier today that most likely changed the vcredist files for the first time setup.
But i also noticed that they added new achievements.
I then went into the list and saw that the achievements for ep 3,4 & 5 is there.
The unlocked images is still hidden but you can read the title & text and that might give us some clues on what could happen.
The ones who haven't been scary are most likely, if not the calmer/calm debaters, the memers, and since memes about Telltale are considered harassment or something, we're technically in the gaming equivalent of Putin's Russia.

It's always happening....at our hearts
And minds, not at the screen!
Omg lilac even your dreams are awsome
That's an odd but very amusing chain of events.
After episode 3:
Buy the DLC to play episodes 4 and 5!

I love how your consciousness considers Superman hiding in a bush a very important part of your dreamscape. He can't help people! It's impossible!
Then again, he has a history of apathy...
It's becoming a little pethetic..
I hope so, too.

Nah
That isn't an official source, only trust information directly from Telltale themselves plus they already confirmed it will be out next month.
