  • Dude at this point, that scenario you just presented sounds 100% plausible.

  • He's just another Negan sycophant, just more portly than most.

Ugh. I don't care about Fat Joey.

  • I think she has to now, since theyre being brought up.

Tara going to spill the beans on Oceanside or not? Also how has Heath just been ignored? He's been gone for a while, hasn't anyone asked about him?

  • Because he knew she would go fight and he wanted to let her have peace.

I assumed Daryl was going to tell Carol about Glenn and Abraham's death but obviously not.

  • Isn't that what happened?

I'm not gonna lie. I wasn't a fan of this episode. It started out with promise, but it descended into a very dull and boring experience. There was still a decent amount of character development and plot progression, but I'm just not a huge fan of how it was displayed. 6/10 for me.

On a side note: that green screen effect was fucking awful. Christ, that looks like something I would conjure up. But I'm an 18 year old kid with a MacBook, Adobe Premiere, and only a couple years of video experience, so I have an excuse. This is a popular television series with a much larger budget. Your effects should not look that bad, especially when its as simple as green screen.

  • I hate Rosita so much

  • AMC is ruining The Walking Dead. The don't give the producers enough money; imagine how amazing TWD would be if HBO said yes to it, but no... apparently it was too violent (and they said yes to GOT)

Okay, that is the one of the worst green screen effects I've ever seen.

  • She is becoming more and more unlikeable with each episode. Just because your boyfriend dumped you for someone else and then died soon afterwards, doesn't give you the excuse to act like a bitch to everyone else who did nothing to you.

    I hate Rosita so much

  • I see what you did there.

Eh, he feels like a dick to me.

  • We must protect that smile.

  • They're called the Scavengers, though they are completely different from the comics. They are replaced by the Wolves in the show which is about when they appeared in the comics.

  • So... did anything remotley important happen in this episode? I really cant be bothered to watch it, anyone got a summary?

  • They got their army. Thats pretty important.

  • Carol us going to find out and she is not going to be happy that he lied to her.

I assumed Daryl was going to tell Carol about Glenn and Abraham's death but obviously not.

  • It feels like the comic. I read a comic called Crossed 100 and the sort of minimalist, stilted language of the Scavs reminded me a lot of that. Jesus said that the world was going to get a lot bigger. I love that we're seeing all these new groups, however weird they might be.

Doesn't even feel like twd anymore. Feels like a shitty fanfic.

  • Yep. The green screen was very noticeable.

  • Such a boring episode. I like the fight with spiked walker though. We need more of them.

  • Why is The Walking Dead falling down? Both TV and Game didn't give us a lot of good shit at the beginning.

  • I dont think it's falling down. I loved it. I got some beautiful Richonne action, Rick actually smiling, a wonderful Carol and Daryl reunion, an introduction to this odd but intriguing new group, and Rick in the walker thunderdome.

Hoo boy... I must be the only guy around here who didn't give much of a flying fuck about the slight quality dip there. On a backdrop of all things. Sure it could've been better, but it is what it is-- insignificant. It's a fucking TV show, not a triple A movie for crying out loud. It has a budget (well no shit) that of a TV show does. That means some things needs to be sacrificed for something that matters more. And a simple still backdrop is not as important as something that's moving and supposed to be alive (better to have a CGI-made tiger than a real one that can cause harm to the staff). And don't forget, AMC has to spread its money out for its other shows too not just Walking Dead, that includes promotional shit too.

  • It was definitely a good way to keep single walkers dangerous. It was pretty cool.

  • -The Kingdom's deal with The Saviors is hitting a bit of a nose-dive. They complained it was smaller than last time, long-haired douchebag starting shit on Richard, nearly had a gun fight. Morgan's stick was taken and Richard's gun. Most likely next deal will go really bad.

-Richard wants to make a compromise with Daryl to take out the saviors. Along the road hiding behind the truck, Richard explains that he wants to use a woman a bait (couldn't make out what the plan was though). Daryl discovers Richard wanted to use Carol as bait and put a stop to that, letting the Saviors go by. Daryl promises to kill Richard if anything happens to Carol.

-Rick and his group are surrounded by the Scavengers in the junkyard who wants to claim as owners to their lives but Rick explains they're owned by Negan and if anything were to happen to them. Rick wants them to join the fight but Jadis (the leader) doesn't want to and wanted something from them immediately (Rick says they don't have anything rn) and instead tried to have her group attack Rick's people. A slight brawl happened. Then Gabriel holds a scavenger hostage and makes them all stop, Gabriel inclines a deal that when they defeat the Saviors they'll let them take as much as they need from the fallen group, exclaiming Rick can do anything. Which leads to Rick showing his worth by fighting a walker with spikes of metal plunged into it, defeating it with Michonne's advice on what to do. Jadis and Rick then make a compromise on what they take, but Jadis first wants lots of guns from a boat ('soon or else').

-Daryl finally reunites with Carol and he stays for dinner as they catch up on things, Daryl lies that everyone is okay (didn't tell her about Glenn and Abe since he doesn't want her to fight). Sometime later, Daryl leaves the Kingdom so he can return to the Hilltop.

  • So very little, also so it appears rick is insane as he smiled for no reason about a group of armed nutter surrounding him. Ill watch a few clips on youtube of the key moments

He smiled because he found the army he was looking for.

  • They easily could have been nutters and killed them, in fact they nearly did. Seen some other scenes, looks like more daryl whining and thats about it

Well yeah, Rick is desperate. I mean we're talking about a guy who's willing to bite out a man's neck just to break free, basically went through a "Shane Phase" in Season 5, and so on. This is a guy who'll do whatever it takes to take down the Saviors (incoming antagonistic plot with the Scavengers though, I don't see the partnership lasting in the long run). Rick's group was spared on a whim, the Scavengers could've easily killed them but they didn't.

  • To be honest, I'm not really feeling that much of a spark from the scavengers to be honest. I mean they have a few interesting qualities such as the fashion, the trials, their home and the walker they had. But it's just their speech patterns that's really... off-putting I guess? I dunno, I'm just not really feeling it for this group at the moment.

    Otherwise I enjoyed the episode.

  • HBO does as well and they deliver. Think about the budget HBO gives to the Game of Thrones producers and then compare it to TWD; it's very noticeable, is it not? That's not mentioning the amount of money AMC makes off of The Walking Dead, which is a lot of money.

  • im pretty sure that all the shows that HBO has cost a pretty penny too, and look at westworld shit looked fantastic and they still shelled up a shitload of money for GOT, think that battle of the bastards was cheap? and this upcoming season aint gonna be cheap either.
