I'm not. A New Frontier is for the newcomers. Most of them will be like "Who the fuck is this?".
I was thinking of Lilly. She never died and it would be crazy to see her see Clementine again. Just imagine, Clementine seeing the person that killed Carley or Doug (based on your choices.) That would be a very emotional moment for Clementine. But anyway they did say that ANF was for newcomers so I don't think they'll bring anybody back from the other seasons, but here's hoping!

As I recall, he said not to rule out characters returning which doesn't confirm anyone's returning but doesn't completely rule out the possibility of it happening.

Yes, but we're talking about returning characters from the game. Nobody in the game recognized Jesus, so they're on the same level as the player, but if Lily shows up and Clementine starts freaking out, people would be missing the full backstory.
Who do I think will return? Nobody. It seems Telltale are adamant to wipe out any remaining characters, all of which are far superior to any of A New Frontier's cast, from the previous instalments, as they want to appeal to a non-existent new set of fans. Kenny and Jane's fates clearly demonstrated that.
Now, who do I hope will return, despite it being unlikely? Lilly. I believe there's still a lot to be explored with such a character and right now, I think she'd be a perfect addition to actually deliver some real character-driven plot elements, like we saw in season 1, where much of the drama and conflict revolved around the characters and their different views and handling of the different situations. She's complex and flawed, and I think characters like that are desperately needed in this season.
Another character I'd love to see again is Nate. For me, Nate was a fun character and someone that gave a bit of dark humour to a game which mostly surrounds itself in bleakness. I think a loose-cannon type character like him, who while as a whole can be viewed as being an all-around despicable and dangerous individual, but with hints of inner complexity and care for some, would be an excellent inclusion to the main group. It'd certainly, for me, cause some interesting conflict.
Then again, maybe considering the atrocious writing in A New Frontier so far, it might be best Telltale don't bring back any previous characters and end up ruining them.
It would be perfect to meet up with Lilly or Christa at TNF's base. Hell, even old favorites like Nate or Eddie could make cameos or simply be seen in the background as an Easter egg.
But then I remember how insistent Telltale is on making this installment for newcomers and I lose all hope for a spectacularly written season.
Watch Christa return in a flashback but then die two seconds later because Telltale doesn't give a crap about her. (Or Lilly for that matter.)
Or the 400 day's cast. Remember those nice characters? Eddie, Wyatt, Shell, Becca, Russell, and Vince -- they're gone. Are they dead? Alive? We just don't know.
That's the point they should start looking for that back story they should know the story of those characters because those characters of the first season is what made TWD the telltale series better not the characters of the new frontier

Who killed kenny or jane not the flashbacks what killed kenny and jane its telltale attention to not make the new comer feel like he missed a big part of the story so he don't bother him self about it. its like a stab in the back for the old comers who worked hard for those characters and those choices.
