I wouldn't really trust the helpful reviews too much because i know for a fact that some people are liking all the negative reviews to get t… morehem to the top and disliking all the positive reviews to get them lower just because they are positive.
I think part of the reason there are more negative reviews at the moment is because of the long wait and people wanting to vent their frustration by adding a negative review, also with the obvious love of Clementine and people wanting to see her more is also making people fristrated.
It will be interesting to see if things change after episode 3 releeases but i get the feeling people will still manipulate the top reviews no matter what happens.
I really want that to happen, but I don't think it's too likely. TellTale is Always releasing FIVE EPISODES for TWD series and I don't think they will change their plan.
Any chance that they surprised us by adding a 6th episode (like they did for MineCraft story mode) to the season in order to make us feel better about this first episode cut into 2 ?

Sooo, I think the episode will air on a Friday so IMO it will be either the next one(10/3) or the one after that (17/3). If it's not, well, ffs telltale..
I thought it was always a Tuesday they'd release their stuff, either it's more believable to be at March 28th but other than that it's all theories until proven otherwise

I wouldn't doubt it, but honestly, I've spent enough time on my phones store to be suspicious of the positive "grate gam 5 star" reviews, and to actually sift through reviews and find the one's with some details.
And I usually stay away from the conspiracies, but holy crap, there's just something off when I see a high rated product with a bunch of positive 3 word reviews in broken English by users with numbers at the end of their name who somehow managed to misspell more words than 6 words in said 3 word review. Toggling from most helpful to most recent usually brings up lower reviews from people from people stating the app doesn't work or doesn't do as advertised, detailing what's wrong in a review that's still in between other recent 5 star "bets app evor". Stuff like that just sets off alarm bells when I already have my reservations about the product in question.

Overall is currently at 82% about to drop to 81%. It's nearly in the 70's, about to be mixed. Compare that to season 1 which has about 97%… more. Also not to mention when you look at the reviews for S3 all you see is red and all the helpful reviews are the red ones.
Considering we haven't got classification for Episode 3 yet, it's guaranteed we're not getting ANF on 7th. Also unlikely to be the 14th.
Depending on what news we get at PAX East (10th-12th March) and whether TellTale stick to their word and release Episode 3 in March... We might get a Guardians release on the 14th/21st or an ANF release date on the 21st/28th.
This is pure speculation which relies on the fact that Guardians was classified before Episode 3 is... But the point is we're probably not getting ANF until the 28th or the 21st if you're optimistic.

Honestly, I didn't think GotG would be out so soon. Oh well, maybe they'll move some of the 30 writers working on ANF over to that so the game's less of a mess.

Depends on the time they'd have to invest and the money they could make. I strongly doubt they would release more content just to make fans feel better, even though they definitely should after the insulting "two episode" premiere.

The longer wait is because they're rewriting, probably due to backlash. I wouldn't count them out so soon though, they still have time to right their wrongs. They can make a good Walking Dead game, they just need to get their act together.
I love the hate from majority of everyone here. It really shows Telltale how they sold out and can't make a good TWD game anymore. I mean … morethis form was all praise during season 1 and majority of season 2. But now they have just pissed everyone off. What's being done about it? Longer wait and watch this game just be another dud in the season 3 episode fail list.

I hope a dlc like that comes out. The best part of this series was that your story was built off of past games and adding a new main protagonist trashed most of those choices. And nobody is attached to Javi he would of made a decent side character but he is a lousy protagonist compared to Clem.
I thought it was always a Tuesday they'd release their stuff, either it's more believable to be at March 28th but other than that it's all theories until proven otherwise
So far, I've been playing Resident Evil HD Remake multiple times earning trophies. Instead of waiting for this game, I'm doing my best to earn all the trophies of REmake because I love that game so much which will make this wait shorter, more or less.
I have resident evil 1 2 and 3 on my old PS3, I decided to play through them all see how long I could complete each one, I got all pumped for it then after about 20 minits of resident evil 1 I got board =/
REmake has a lot of replayablity. As a new player of the franchise, I used to hate the fixed cameras and door animations but got used to it pretty clear.

"More importantly, he’s got a whole cast of family members we’re supposed to feel sorry for, but the script doesn’t take the time to make us care about any of them, which just ends up creating tension between the player and character. Before long, people are killed and characters are separated from one another, but there’s little incentive to be bothered by any of it."
"The problem is that Clementine feels like a direct contradiction to the girl I spent two seasons developing. She makes choices that fly in the face of the ones my Clementine would have made"
"If you’re like me, you probably figured these choices wouldn’t amount to much in the long run,but the laziness with which the flashbacks are handled is so mind-numbing that it’s borderline offensive. Whatever choice you may have picked at the end of Season Two, the outcome is a rushed mess that’s handled in an almost dismissive manner, as if the writers just couldn’t wait to free themselves of those burdensome variables."
"No, Telltale games were never about truly branching narratives. They were always interactive adventure that let players add their own flavor to their narrative, rather than re-write it completely. But like a magician who’s already revealed his greatest trick, that illusion of choice is wearing pretty thin, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to take choices as seriously as the writers want players to take them.
"There’s also an overabundance of plot convenience sprinkled across the narrative. Why does Javier all of a sudden become a de facto leader when there’s been little indication of him earning that kind of trust from others? Why do my mortal enemies all of a sudden hesitate to open fire on me after they had no problem introducing themselves earlier by shooting someone in the back of the skull? Why does Javier wrestle with a thug over possession of a gun, only to drop the gun moments later for no apparent reason? These moments are not only annoying and plentiful, but immersion-shattering."
(On a side note, can I just say... When I played it for the first time and saw Javier throw the gun I literally yelled "YOU FUCKING IDIOT" at the screen.)
"There’s nothing wrong with adhering to tropes, especially if they’ve worked in the past, butit doesn’t help that each episode here only clocks in at around an hour. This has the unintended side effect of making the world feel a whole lot smaller.Season One had entire story arcs dedicated to mere supply runs filled with content, with most of the relationship-building and character development unfolding naturally from there. By contrast,Season Three is always in a hurry to teleport players to the next set-piece. Big events, like losing a home or loved one, now feel disappointingly routine."
"That is why it grieves me so much to see Season Three of Telltale’s The Walking Dead stumble. For all its attempts to broach new and interesting ideas, it retreats back into tropes that have become rote. The writing is lazier, characters make weaker impressions, the episodes are shorter, and choices are less meaningful than ever. It all results in a haphazard effort that fails to reach the series’ heights."
Rating: 6.5 - Although Telltale still has a couple of tricks up its sleeve, 'Ties That Bind' retreads old water and presents a step backwards in terms of writing.

I hope not; because this is unfair (but who of them cares about what's fair and unfair, right?).
I really want that to happen, but I don't think it's too likely. TellTale is Always releasing FIVE EPISODES for TWD series and I don't think they will change their plan.
If that happened, I bet they'd charge us for it even with Season pass.
You mean like they said they'd release a DLC episode for S3? This type of thing would the same as 400 Days but I believe they're lying to us

Oh I was joking about how telltale seems to only focus on positive reviews lol

I'm sure Steam is just a minor community, just as these forums. Why would Telltale listen to such unimportant revievs and opinions.

Plz don't let me even think about it you know reality right?
Of course they would say that. They would never admit that it would be short and mediocre. Hype is pretty much all they got.
Depends on the time they'd have to invest and the money they could make. I strongly doubt they would release more content just to make fans feel better, even though they definitely should after the insulting "two episode" premiere.
Let's hope the GotG game isn't as badly treated as ANF
Nah, I've seen that the first episodes of a Telltale series are usually classified earlier than future episodes, so I would not count on this month.
I called it a couple weeks ago that there will be a dlc where we play more as clem to learn more of her story.
Oh you mean the real season 3? Can't wait.
Can I buy the Clem DLC without buying the season first? I'd rather skip it.
That's the question.
The longer wait is because they're rewriting, probably due to backlash. I wouldn't count them out so soon though, they still have time to right their wrongs. They can make a good Walking Dead game, they just need to get their act together.
Soon is a terrible word.
Man, don't I know it.
Soon is the new 'FOREVER'
Damn, I'm enjoying Breath of the Wild so much! It's okay when companies delay games to actually make them BETTER!
Oh yeah... And... there's this... which is delayed because they don't want to work on it : )
Makes me think of Loch Ness Terror. Or this.
I agree

soon
I'd say March 14th-21st. 21st most likely because it would be 3 months and a day since the actual game came out.

Great game, that and Eternal Darkness were big reasons I got a GameCube. Playing it absolutely killed my nerves, though.

Pros: Honesty
Cons: Saying something about the intro scene which they liked or some shit.
