We're going to Lucille Badger, fuck yeah. And I'm now pretty certain we're getting Clem's branding in this episode.
I hope it's just a flashback. Getting branded for the second time is probably the worst.
I hope that fight scenes not too long, I've had enough pressing Y already, especially to keep Javier alive.

After playing Tales From the Borderlands, I honestly wish they had made A New Frontier more like it, since playing Clem in present time would be interesting, and would also make me more interested in Javiers story, playing as Clem during her "reunion" with A New Frontier would be way stronger than playing as Javier, since I want to feel emotional investment when AJ is being taken, but Javier wouldnt really care, while I dont really roleplay as Javier, his disposition and relationship with characters definitely affect how emotional a given moment is gonna be.
AJ being taken would not be nearly sad enough if we play as Javier I think
I could care less of how long the fight will take as long as I get the option to kill that fucker.
I think the sad scene is not the brand but the AJ scene

I personally think that he's I'll cause he continuously coughs in the episode 2 flashback. Hopefully they healed AJ but it doesn't look like the separation is anyone's best interest :,(
They definitely could've pulled a tales on this, seeing as how we play as clem in flashbacks in the first place.
Maybe when they kicked her out or whatever, David thinks clem isn't cut out to protect him all by herself

What use could The New Frontier have for AJ you might ask? They played Season 2 and witnessed the child's heavy plot armor and ability to survive dooming situations and realize they can use him to their benefit.
I'm kind of hoping that's what it is as opposed to "we're keeping the kid because we're evil." He looks kind of sick and I haven't see the other flashbacks but the Kenny one was pointing to something wrong with him because he's so old and still hasn't begun talking. It'd be a much more interesting scenario if when Clem decides to leave/when she gets exiled it results in David making a judgment call that AJs ailment would inevitably result in his death if he's on the road, and he forces Clementine to part with the last person she has left because David believes it'll save him.

what if we have the choice to brand ourselves or not? branding means all the benefits of the new frontier community, but also you're fucking part of the new frontier community.

Theory time: Badger managed to slink out of punishment at the hands of David by blaming the death of Mariana and the attack on Prescott on somebody else, possibly Max, which leads to Javier deciding to kill Badger himself.
I mean hey, it would go along with the episode being called Above The Law.
They want to capture the Infant--"usurping his special powers for their own unsavory purposes! Ehhehehe--{you get all that at home?}"

I call it right now:
TNF for X reason of plot works with Hilltop, or is dealing with Hilltop, or has issues with Hilltop, and Maggie is going there to talk about these issues, fix things before making any conclict and blablabla. Jesus was going ahead to clear the way and stuff.
We will get a choice to either kill Badger or not.
And because plot if you kill him you will bash his head in just as Maggie walks in.
And thus Maggie will hate us forever.

Having not watched the show, I assume you mean Badger is related to this Maggie person?
Maggie is the actual leader of Hilltop in the comics, one of the four main communities and a friend of Rick, the protagnist.
Idk she had to watch her husband have his head smashed with a baseball bat when pregnant that kind of things traumatize people.
