My The Walking Dead A New Frontier Fan Fiction prequel Part 3- Friends and Enemies

This is part 3 of the prequel to my other fan fiction of A New Frontier. This part took a long time to make and I hope you guys enjoy it! As always feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Anyway here's part 3!

Part 3:

Angel’s perspective:

Angel is driving the truck around in a neighborhood in Atlanta. It’s night time and Angel decides that he needs a place to rest. Angel sees that there are lots of cars abandoned and left on the road. Angel stops the truck in front of a house and gets out of the truck. The house was white and was two stories. Angel goes to the door and knocks on it but nobody answers.
“Hello? Is anybody there?” Angel asked.
Nobody answers.
Angel turns the doorknob and sees that the door is unlocked. Angel enters the house and shuts the door.
“I’m friendly. I don’t want to cause any trouble.” Angel said.
Still nobody answers.
“I guess there’s nobody here.” Angel thought.
Angel smells that disgusting smell again. He looks around and finds the source.
“Holy shit.” Angel said.
On the floor is a woman and she looked like she turned into a walker. Her face looked like it was hit with a hammer and her blood was all around her.
“Looks like someone was here before me.” Angel thought.
Angel leaves the body and looks around the house. He sees that the place was pretty messy. There was blood on the some of the walls and on the floor and furniture was messed up. Angel walks to the kitchen and sees a huge puddle of blood. Angel goes around it carefully.
"I don't want to slip on that blood." Angel thought.
He looks through the cabinets in the kitchen but doesn't find anything. Angel leaves the kitchen and goes to a little shelf. He sees that there’s a picture frame of the family that used to live in the house. Angel picks up the frame and is shocked at what he sees.
In the frame he sees the girl from his dream.
“No way! Is she real?!” Angel asked.
Angel looks and sees that she is the same girl. She had the same eyes and the same beautiful smile.
“That’s her! Holy shit she’s real!” Angel thought.
Angel’s heart starts beating fast. He can’t believe she was real.
Angel can’t stop looking at the picture.
It was really her.
Angel starts to notice that she looks like she was eight or nine in the photo and that she didn’t have her hat and her hair was long.
“This must have been taken a long time ago. She might be the same age as me right now. She probably found the hat somewhere.” Angel thought.
Angel puts the picture down and looks around. He sees a drawing in the kitchen on the counter top. Angel picks up the drawing and is amazed.
It’s a white unicorn with stars and grass around it.
“She can really draw. She must’ve drawn this before all this happened.” Angel thought.
Angel finishes looking through the house and goes to the backyard. There’s a treehouse in the backyard and Angel is shocked.
“Is that a treehouse?” Angel asked.
Angel looks at the treehouse and is amazed.
“It’s kind of dark out. This might be the best place for me to sleep. The walkers can’t climb and I’ll be safe.” Angel thought.
Angel starts walking towards the treehouse and sees a pool that’s been covered by a sheet.
Angel climbs up the tree house and enters it. He looks and sees that there are even more drawings on the floor.
“She must’ve drawn all these. I hope she’s still alive.” Angel thought.
Angel picks up the drawing and looks at it.
It was a drawing of a rose.
“She really likes to draw.” Angel thought.
Angel puts the drawing on the floor and sits down against a wall. Angel looks around and starts thinking about the girl from his dreams.
“I hope she’s still alive. Please let her still be alive.” Angel thought.
Angel stops looking around the room and closes his eyes. He puts his head down and falls asleep.

Angel looks in front of him and sees the girl again. Angel gets up, completely shocked.
“Do you like my treehouse?” She asked.
“Ahhh. Yeah it’s amazing.” Angel answered.
She smiles at him.
Angel looks at a drawing and picks it up. It was a picture of a unicorn. He gives it to the girl and she looks at it.
“Did you draw that?” Angel asked.
“Yeah. You like it?” She asked.
“I love it.” Angel answered.
The both stare at each other for a while but then the girl says something.
“You have to keep moving if you want to find me.” She said.
“What do you mean?” Angel asked.
“You wanted to see me right? That’s why you left your house.” She answered.
“Yes I do want to see you. I really do.” Angel said.
“If you keep moving we’ll see each other. Just keep going in the same direction” She replied.
“Okay I will.” Angel promised.
The dream ends and Angel wakes up.
“I have to keep moving.” Angel said.
Angel gets up from the floor and looks around. He goes to the window of the treehouse and looks outside.
It’s morning time. Angel sees empty houses and abandoned cars.
But something catches Angel’s eye.
He sees a police car completely abandoned. There’s also a police officer on the ground next to the car who looked like his face was blasted by a shotgun.
“Damn.” Angel said.
Angel goes away from the window and picks up his staff.
“It’s time for me to keep going.” Angel thought.
Angel climbs down the treehouse and get’s back to his truck. Angel drives the truck in the same direction he was going in hopes of finding the girl from his dream.

Santiago’s perspective:

The truck goes over bumps, making everyone inside jump up and down. The truck eventually gets to a stop after what felt like hours of driving. Someone opens the backdoor of the truck and people from the Brotherhood start dragging them out one by one onto the floor. After everyone is out of the truck, people from the Brotherhood start taking the black bags off of everyone’s faces. When they take the bag off of Santiago’s face the sun burns his eyes.
“Aghhh!” Santiago yelled in pain.
Santiago gets up slowly and his eyes adjust to the light. He stands up and sees lot’s of other people standing up. He sees Gonzalo, Sarah, and James looking around, shocked. Santiago walks over to them. Santiago hugs Sarah and then looks at her.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah I’m fine.” Sarah answered.
Santiago hugs Gonzalo and then hears someone.
“Rise and shine!” A man yelled.
Santiago turns around and sees who it was.
It was Andreas, leader of the Brotherhood.
Andreas looks around with a grin on his face.
“Welcome to the Nest .” Andreas said.
Santiago looks around and is amazed at what he sees. There are one story buildings all around them. They’re all white with windows on the walls. Santiago turns around and sees a big building about three stories tall. It looked like a mansion to Santiago. There were pillars in front of the tall building with people from the Brotherhood standing in front of it. Santiago looks around and sees that there are big trees all around the place and they were making the Nest blend into the environment. Santiago stops looking around and looks at Andreas.
“Beautiful huh?” Andreas asked.
No one answers.
“You guy’s just don’t listen.” Andreas points his gun at Sarah.
“No stop! This place is beautiful!” Gonzalo yelled.
Andreas grins and puts the pistol down.
“See? He get’s it!” Andreas said while pointing at Gonzalo.
“What’s your name kid?” Andreas asked.
“My names Gonzalo.”
“Well Gonzalo, it seems that you understand what these people don’t. Always answer me. Don’t be surprised if you see a little more food on your plate.” Andreas said.
Santiago looks at Gonzalo and Gonzalo shrugs. Santiago looks back at Andreas.
“Well everyone since this is your first day under the Brotherhood, you won’t have any work to do today. But tomorrow you guys will be working hard. These guys will show you to where you’ll be sleeping and remember. Never disobey the Brotherhood.” Andreas said in a serious face.
Andreas walks away from them and towards the big three story building along with other members of the Brotherhood. Moises walks over to Santiago, Gonzalo, James, and Sarah.
“Follow me, I’ll take you to where you guys’ll be sleeping.” He said.
Moises leads them to one of the many white houses and opens the door with a key. He enters the room and turns on the light. The room actually looks kind of nice. There are four beds lined up against a wall. There is also a small wooden table with some chairs around it. On the table there are four black wristbands. Santiago goes and picks one up.
“What is this for?” Santiago asked.
“It’s to show that you’re a part of the Brotherhood. You need it to be here. If you don’t wear it we’ll kill you.” Moises answered.
Santiago puts on the wristband even though he doesn't want to. Everyone else puts on the wristbands as well.
“Good. Now, Andreas wants to see all of you guys at his place. Follow me.” Moises ordered.
Moises gives Santiago the keys to their room and leads them to Andreas’s mansion. They all walk up the stairs of the mansion and Moises does a long, rhythmic knock. After Moises finishes knocking, the doors open. When the doors finish opening, two men walk out with AK-47’s.
“Are these the guys that Andreas wants to see?” One of the men asked.
“Yep.” Moises answered.
The two men walk back into the mansion and everyone follows. The men close the doors and they’re all in Andreas’s mansion. Santiago looks around and is absolutely amazed. The whole place has dimmed lights everywhere. The whole place has red carpets and beige walls. There are frames with paintings hanging on the walls. Santiago stops and looks at one of the paintings. It was a picture of a grey wolf. The wolf was howling at the moon with other wolves behind it.
“Hey! Come on!” Moises yelled.
Santiago catches up to the group and they get through the hall. They get to a double door and Moises does a different rhythmic knock. The doors open and two men walk out. They don’t say anything and just let them in.
Everyone walks through the doors and are stunned at what they see. There is an aisle in front of them and at the end of the aisle is Andreas, sitting on a throne. There’s a women standing to the right of him and a man standing to the left of him. They all look at the group as they walk towards them. There are also chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, making the room dimly lit. There are also lots of chairs at both sides of the aisle like as if this place was a auditorium and was meant to hold a huge crowd. The group eventually gets to Andreas and Andreas smiles.
“Thank you for bringing them Moises.” Andreas said.
“It was my pleasure.” Moises replied.
Moises walks away from Andreas and out of the room.
The man standing next to Andreas leans towards him and whispers something to him.
“I know.” Andreas said.
Andreas looks at everyone.
“You guy’s are probably wondering why I brought you guys here. I brought you guys here because you guys seem to understand what the other people don’t. You guys understand that you need to follow the rules here in the Brotherhood. But I don’t know if this guy understands.” Andreas said.
Andreas points at Santiago.
“Do you understand?” Andreas asked.

You get to chose what Santiago says to Andreas:

Choice 1:(Say that you understand):

“I understand.” Santiago said.
Andreas smiles.
“Good.” He said.

Choice 2: (Say nothing):

Santiago stays silent and doesn't say anything. He didn’t like the Brotherhood and didn’t want to obey them.
Andreas snaps his finger and the man standing next to him pulls out a pistol and points it at Santiago.
“Do you understand?” Andreas asked again.
Santiago gives up and tells Andreas what he wants to hear.
“Yes I understand.” Santiago said.
Andreas holds up his hand and the person puts down his gun.
“Good.” Andreas replied.

Continuing with your choice:

“You guys might think I’m bad but I’m actually not. The only reason we do what we do is to make sure that we have rules. If we don’t have rules then we aren’t any better than those things out there. If we had no rules people would be killed, women would be raped, and everything would be chaos. With rules these things won’t happen. So you can look at me with a mean face but I don’t give a shit. This place runs smoothly because of these rules.” Andreas said.
Suddenly something moves from behind Andreas’s chair. The man standing next to Andreas moves out of the way and an animal walks and stands next to Andreas.
It was a gray wolf.
It stood proudly and started snarling at Santiago and the others. Andreas raises his hand and the wolf stops snarling and sits down. The wolf was big. It had black, gray, and beige fur on it’s head and upper body, and it’s fur was white for the entire lower body of the wolf. Andreas smiles and starts petting the wolf.
“This is Bigby. My gray wolf.” Andreas revealed.
Bigby looks at them with his yellow eyes. He looked like he wanted to kill them.
“Holy shit.” Santiago whispered.
“If you don’t follow the rules here in the Nest, let’s just say that Bigby here will see to it that you be, destroyed.” Andreas said.
Andreas stands up and walks to a wall to his right. There’s a cabinet with some black wristbands on top of it like the one Santiago had on. Andreas picks up a wristband and looks at it.
“Do you know what this is?” Andreas asked.
“The wristband of the Brotherhood.” Gonzalo answered.
“You’re correct. But do you know why they’re here?” Andreas asked.
“No.” Santiago answered.
Andreas opens one of the six drawers in the cabinet and takes out lots of wristbands. He holds them all in his hand and shows them all to Santiago and the rest of the group. The wristbands have some blood on them.
“These wristbands were worn by some of the brothers. But they betrayed us so we killed them, and just so you know, every single cabinet is filled with these wristbands.” Andreas revealed.
Andreas puts the wristbands back in and closes the drawer and walks back to his throne. He sits back down in the throne and looks at everyone, grinning.
“So like I said, follow the rules and we won’t have a problem. Now I don’t want to take anymore of your time since you’re gonna need it for tomorrow so go back to your rooms and go to sleep, and Remember. Never disobey the Brotherhood.” Andreas ordered.
Everyone leaves Andreas and goes back to their room. Santiago lays down and starts to think about everything that he saw today.
“Why is this happening?” Santiago asked.
Santiago falls asleep, thinking about that question.

Clementine’s perspective:

Clementine and Christa are sitting next to each other on a log in the woods and there are trees all around them. Christa gets up and walks over to a little fire that they had.
“This’ll never work.” She said.
Christa leans down and tries to make the fire bigger but to no avail.
“This wood’s too wet to burn. There’s more smoke than flame.” She continued.
“What else can we do?” Clementine asked.
“Find something that’ll burn.” Christa answered.
“You should be doing this, not me. Making a fire to cook and stay warm is something that you have to be able to do.” Christa continued.
“Omid said that,”
“I know what Omid said.” Christa interrupted.
They both stop talking for a while.
“I’m freezing.” Clementine said.
“You think this is bad, wait till we get to Wellington, then talk to me about cold.” Christa replied.
“Is it safe there?” Clementine asked.
“Safer than here. We just need to keep heading north.” Christa answered.
“I miss Lee.” Clementine said.
Christa looks at Clementine.
“I know you do.” She replied.
Christa continues to try to make the fire bigger but nothing happens.
“I’m gonna look for more wood. Keep the fire lit.” Christa ordered.
Christa walks away from Clementine and disappears into the forest.
Clementine looks at the food they were trying to cook. It was a squirrel. Clementine gets up off the log and walks to the side of it and sees her backpack. She takes the backpack and opens it. Clementine takes out a picture that she drew of Kenny, Katjaa, and Duck. Clementine puts it in her pocket and looks at the bag again. Clementine takes out a lighter. Clementine puts it in her pocket and closes the backpack. She gets up and goes to the squirrel that was being cooked. She takes out the lighter and picks up a kindling. She flicks the lighter and a small flame is born. She moves the lighter slowly to the kindling and it starts to go on fire. Clementine flicks the lighter again, turning the flame off, and then puts the kindling under the squirrel, making the fire bigger.
Suddenly a man yells.
“Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?!” The man yelled.
The voice came from the woods. Clementine gets up and looks to where the voice came from. Clementine starts to walk slowly towards the voice. She can hear multiple voices talking.
“Don’t fucking lie to us!” A man yelled. (Man 1).
“Who do you think you’re foolin’?” Another man asked. (Man 2).
“Give us the truth and you don’t get hurt.” Man 1 said.
“You fuckin’ with me? Where’s the rest of your group?!” Man 2 asked.
Clementine gets to the voices and is shocked. Christa is surrounded by guys with guns.
“I’m by myself.” Christa said.
“She’s lying.” Another man replied. (Man 3.)
“Cut the shit, lady!” Man 2 yelled.
“It’s just me.” Christa said.
One of the men puts their pistol to Christa’s head.
Clementine picks up a rock and throws it at one of the men.
“Christa, run!” Clementine yelled.
“Hey!” The man that got hit with the rock yelled.
Clementine starts running and the man chases her.
“Get the fuck over here! Now!” The man yelled.
Clementine runs and hides behind a tree.
“Come out here, girl. I’m not fucking around.” The man said.
Clementine goes away from the tree and runs away. The man sees her and starts chasing her again. Clementine sees a walker in front of her and goes around it. The man kills the walker and goes towards Clementine who stopped running. Clementine takes a branch from a tree and stabs the man with it.
“Jesus, are you fuckin’ kidding me?!” The man yelled.
Clementine starts running but then gets grabbed by the man.
“Leave me alone!” Clementine yelled.
Clementine bites the man's thumb.
“Fuuuuuuck!” The man yelled.
Clementine breaks free of the man's grip and runs away. The man grabs her again and pushes her to the floor. Clementine tries to break free but can’t. A walker starts limping slowly towards them and Clementine kicks the man into the walker and the walker grabs him. Another walker grabs Clementine. She breaks free but falls down on top of the man. The walker starts limping towards Clementine. Clementine gets up and runs away. The walker goes to the man and bites him. Clementine starts to get surrounded by walkers. Clementine trips and falls to the floor. She moves backwards slowly but then falls into a lake behind her. Clementine gets dragged by the river and is all alone.

Angel’s perspective:

Angel drove the truck for what felt like hours. It was night time now and it was raining. He doesn't know where he’s going but he knows that if he keeps going he’ll eventually see the girl from his dream.
At least he hoped so.
Suddenly the truck starts to break down. It starts to go slower and slower.
“What’s going on?” Angel asked.
Angel sees that the gas is at empty. The truck gets to a complete stop and the ride is over.
“Oh great. I guess I’m back to walking again.” Angel groaned.
Angel grabs his staff. Angel get’s out of the car and closes the door. Angel starts walking and sees that the road is surrounded by walkers. Angel decided to go through the trees next to the road. Angel keeps walking but then suddenly hears a man yell.
“Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?!” The man yelled.
Angel starts running towards the voice.
“Someone must be in trouble. I have to help them.” Angel thought.
Angel runs as fast as he can and passes trees and jumps over logs that are on the ground.
After a couple of minutes of running, Angel is deep into the woods.
“Don’t fucking lie to us!” A man’s voice yelled.
The voice was even closer. Angel starts to slow down since he is getting closer.
Angel eventually gets to where they are and sees that there’s a woman who is surrounded by men.
“Holy shit.” Angel thought.
Angel hides behind some bushes and sees them more clearly.
One of the men puts a pistol to the woman's head and suddenly Angel hears a girl’s voice.
“Christa, run!” The girl yelled.
A man gets hit with a rock and the man goes running towards the girl. Angel doesn't get a clear view of the girl and doesn't know who it was. Angel looks back at the women surrounded by the rest of the guys.
One of them hits the woman in the stomach. She falls down and Angel realizes that now is the time to attack. Angel grabs his staff and jumps out from the bushes. He runs towards the man that punched the women and hits him in the head with his staff. The man falls to the ground and the other men look at Angel. One of the men has a hood over his head and points a pistol at Angel. Angel hits the pistol quickly with his staff and the pistol goes flying. Angel slides his foot into the man's feet and he falls down. Angel hits the man with his staff and sees that another man is about to swing at him with his fists. Angel blocks the swing with his left hand and, with his right hand, takes his staff and hits the mans arm.
“Agggh!” The man yelled.
Angel sees that there’s one more man left and the man has a pistol in his right hand. The man starts to raise the pistol towards Angel and Angel starts running towards the man. The man pulls the trigger but Angel dodges the bullet. Angel continues running and swings his staff at the man's right hand. It hits his hand and he drops the pistol. The man goes down to the ground, screaming in agony and looking at his hand which was red now. Angel looks at the women that was hit in the stomach.
“You okay?” Angel asked.
“Yeah I’m fine thanks.” She answered.
“No problem. Why were those guys trying to kill you?” Angel asked.
“I don’t know. I was just trying to get some wood and they showed up.” The women answered.
“What’s your name?” Angel asked.
“Christa, what’s yours?” Christa asked back.
“Angel.” Angel answered.
“Well nice to meet you Angel. Without you I would probably be dead right now.” Christa said.
“Oh don’t mention it. Hey there was a girl that yelled and threw a rock. You know who that is?” Angel asked.
“Yeah. Where did she go?” Christa asked.
Angel points to where he heard the voice.
“She went that way.” Angel answered.
“I have to go find her. Want to help me?” Christa asked.
Angel doesn't realize that the girl was Clementine, the girl from his dream.
“I’m sorry but I’m looking for some as well at the moment.” Angel answered.
“Oh okay. Well thank you again.” Christa said.
Christa runs towards the place where Clementine went and Angel is all alone. Angel looks around and sees that all the people he took down ran away. Angel picks up a pistol from the ground that one of the men dropped.
“This could come in handy.” Angel thought.
Angel doesn't know where to go since he was too busy going towards the voices. Angel decides to go the opposite way from where Christa was going. But Angel doesn't know that Christa is going towards Clementine and he was going the complete wrong way.

Santiago’s perspective:

“Hey wake up!” Someone yelled.
Santiago wakes up and sees Moises with an AK-47 in his hands.
“Time for you guys to get to work.” Moises said.
“Oh great.” Santiago groaned.
Sarah, Gonzalo, and James get up and get out of their beds. Everyone goes to Moises and look at him.
“You guys will be in charge of loading up ammo for our guns. Now move it!” Moises ordered.
Everyone leaves the room and Moises leads them to where their guns are. Everyone loads up pistols and AK-47’s for hours. Eventually Moises walks in and looks at everyone.
“Time for Lunch.” Moises ordered.
Moises leads them out of the gun room and towards the Cafetería. When they get there it doesn't look very nice. There were long wooden tables with people sitting at some parts of the table. The place looked like it was never cleaned. But somehow there was no garbage on the floors or the tables. There’s a line for the food and everyone gets into the line. When Santiago is next to get some food a man skips him.
“Hey you skipped me.” Santiago said.
“Oh I did? I’m sorry.” The man replied.
Santiago sees that it’s the man that was standing next to Andreas when Santiago met him.
The man walks out of the line and pats Santiago on the back. He walks away and leaves the cafetería.
“What was that all about?” Gonzalo asked.
“I don’t know.” Santiago answered.
Santiago gets his food and sees that it was beans. He sits at the table with everyone else and eats and talks for a while. But suddenly Santiago feels something weird inside his shirt. Santiago moves his shirt around and sees a paper fall from the inside of his shirt. Santiago picks it up and reads it.
“Meet me by the back of the gun building at night. -L.” It said.
“What’s that?” Gonzalo asked.
“I don’t know. Just some piece of paper.” Santiago answered.
Santiago didn’t want to tell him what it actually was because he didn’t know if it was a trap. Santiago puts the paper in his pocket and talks for a little while. But eventually they have to stop talking and go do more work. Santiago gets up and walks to the exit of the Cafetería. But when Santiago gets out of the cafetería with the rest of the group, Andreas is there in front of him.
“Gonzalo! How’re things?” Andreas asked.
“They’re great thanks.” Gonzalo answered.
“That’s great to hear. Now you guys go to work while me and this guy here talk with each other.” Andreas points at Santiago. Everyone else from the group hesitantly walk back to where they were working while Andreas and his men stay with Santiago.
“What’s your name kid?” Andreas asked.
“My names Santiago.”
“Well Santiago, I have to say that I don’t think that you really like being here. Is that true?” Andreas asked.
“Yeah I hate it.” Santiago answered.
“Why? I haven’t done anything to you have I?” Andreas asked.
“No. But I don’t want to listen to you. I don’t want to be with the Brotherhood.” Santiago answered.
Andreas grins.
“Well I can’t help you. So get your shit together okay? Or we’re gonna have another wristband added to my collection. Now get back to work.” Andreas ordered.
Andreas and the rest of his men walk away from Santiago. Santiago thinks about what Andreas said as he walks back to the gun building to work again.

A couple hours later:

It’s night time now. Santiago and everyone else has finished working for the day and they were all tired. Santiago remembers that the guy wanted to see him behind of the gun building so he waits for everyone to leave the building and then goes behind the building. Santiago sees the man standing there just like he said.
“Hey, Santiago right?” The man asked.
“Yeah. Who are you?” Santiago asked.
“I’m Louis.” The man answered.
Suddenly someone comes from around the building and walks up to them.
“Is this Santiago?” The man asked.
“Yeah he is.” The other man answered.
“Who are you?” Santiago asked.
“I’m Ruben.” The man answered.
“Why did you guys want me to come here?” Santiago asked.
Louis and Ruben look at each other and look at Santiago.
“We want to destroy the Brotherhood.” Louis revealed.
“That’s a lie. Why would you be working for Andreas?” Santiago asked.
“We have to get close to him so we don’t work. Instead he wants us to walk around and check up on everybody. When we check up on people we’re actually getting more and more people to join us in taking over and destroying the Brotherhood.” Louis answered.
“Why haven’t you destroyed the Brotherhood yet?” Santiago asked.
“We need more people. When we took over the airfield you guys were at, we got more people and now we have enough to destroy the Brotherhood.” Louis answered.
“So are you in or out?” Ruben asked.
Santiago thinks about it for a while.
“Will people die?” Santiago asked.
“Yeah people will die.” Louis answered.
Santiago didn’t want to lose Sarah or Gonzalo. They meant so much to him and he couldn’t handle living without them. But destroying the Brotherhood would be amazing. Santiago decided that he would protect them at all costs, even if it meant him dying.
“I’m in.” Santiago said.
“Alright good. Now tell your friends and as many people as you can. We’ll let you know when we’ll make a move.” Louis replied.
“Alright.” Santiago responded.
All of them split up and walk away. Santiago walks back to his building thinking about taking over the Brotherhood. Santiago gets to the building and sees everyone is still awake.
“Where have you been?” Gonzalo asked.
“Yeah where have you been?” Sarah asked.
Santiago sits down on his bed and Sarah, Gonzalo, and James all look at him.
“I met this guy who’s close to Andreas. He said that he and a bunch of people were gonna take over and destroy the Brotherhood.” Santiago revealed.
Everyone is shocked at what Santiago said.
“He’s lying to you. He’s close to Andreas why would he want to take over the brotherhood?” James asked.
“I don’t know, but I think he was really serious about it.” Santiago answered.
“Whatever it doesn't matter. I want to stop being under the Brotherhood. I want to be free. He might be lying but I’m gonna take my chances” Sarah said.
“If you’re in then I’m in too.” James agreed.
“Gonzalo are you in?” Santiago asked.
“I’m in.” Gonzalo answered.
“Good. Let’s just go to sleep for now and do as they say. They told me that when they were ready they would tell me so hopefully they do.” Santiago said.
Santiago and everybody else goes to their beds and go to sleep.

Five days later:

Angel’s perspective:

Angel has walked and camped multiple times. He’s walked for miles and felt like he wasn’t getting anywhere. All he saw were trees, and lots of them. Angel is sitting down on a log in the woods. Angel opens his backpack and looks through it. Angel sees that he has barely any food. All he had was a granola bar and a can of beans. But Angel can’t decide which one to eat.

You get to decide what Angel eats:

Choice 1: (Granola bar):

Angel reaches in his backpack and pulls out the granola bar. Angel eats it and isn’t filled very much. But Angel knows that he has to save the can of beans for another time. Angel closes his backpack and gets up off the log.

Choice 2: (Can of beans):

Angel reaches in his backpack and pulls out the can of beans. Angel eats it and isn’t filled very much. But Angel knows that he has to save the granola bar for another time, Angel closes his backpack and gets up off the log.

Continuing with your choice:

Angel puts his backpack on his shoulder and grabs his staff and starts walking again.
“Another day, another walk.” Angel thought.
Angel keeps walking for a couple of minutes but then sees something far away from him.
“Is that a bridge?” Angel asked.
There;s a big red bridge far away from him.
“Alright! Now we’re getting somewhere.” Angel thought.
Angel starts running as fast as he can. After a couple minutes of running, Angel finally gets to the bridge. Angel sees that there are three walkers on the bridge. Angel walks to one of the walkers. The walker has a red flannel shirt and has black hair. Angel swings his staff at the walker and the walker falls off the bridge and into the water. Two left. There’s a walker who looked like a man with a grey shirt, blue jeans, and brown hair. Angel swings his staff at the walker's head and it goes flying from the body all the way to the water and the walker's body falls down to the ground. One left. The walker looks like a women with a white t-shirt that said “Peace” on it.
“I wish there was peace in this world.” Angel thought.
Angel twirls his staff and then spins around. Halfway through his spin he swings his staff at the walker without even looking at it. His staff hits the walker's head and it goes flying. The head flies all the way to the end of the bridge and lands in front of a man.
“Who is that?” Angel thought.
Angel sees that the man has a big gun and is walking towards him.
“Oh no I’m screwed.” Angel thought.
The man stops walking and is still kind of far away from Angel.
“Nice moves. Who are you?” The man asked.
“Who are you?” Angel asked back.
“I asked first.” The man said.
“My names Angel, what’s yours?” Angel asked.
“I’m Matthew.” The man said.
Matthew walks closer to Angel.
Angel sees that Matthew has a black and grey hoodie on with the hood over his head. He also has black jeans and black shoes.
Matthew stops walking and is still far away.
“Huh. You don’t look like an asshole. Are you an asshole?” Matthew asked.
“What is that supposed to mean? No I’m not an asshole.” Angel answered
“Sorry, you know how it is out there. I didn’t mean to offend you or anything.” Matthew said.
Matthew starts walking towards Angel again.
“You headed north like everyone else?” Matthew asked.
“I guess so. What do you mean everyone else?” Angel asked.
“I see at least one group a day move through here.” Matthew answered.
Angel starts to think about the girl from his dream and how she wanted him to keep going the same way.
“Have you seen a girl with a blue and white hat with a capital d on it come around here?” Angel asked.
“No, sorry.” Matthew answered.
Angel is saddened by what Matthew said.
“Why did she tell me to keep moving the same way? Did I go the wrong way? Or was it just a dream after all?” Angel thought.
But Angel still had hope. So he was going to keep going.
“If you need food I can give you some from the station behind me.” Matthew suggested.
“Yeah sure, I could use some food, thanks.” Angel agreed.
“Hey, no problem. Follow me.” Matthew said.
Matthew starts to lead Angel to the station.
“It’s nice running into friendly faces out here.” Matthew said.
“Yeah it is.” Angel agreed.
Matthew walks Angel to the station.
“Alright I’ll go in and get you some food.” Matthew said.
Matthew walks into the station and Angel waits outside. Eventually Matthew comes back with five cans of peaches.
“Here you go Angel.” Matthew said as he handed the cans to Angel.
“Oh this is too much.” Angel replied.
“Don’t worry about it. I have plenty.” Matthew reassured.
“Thank you, really.” Angel said.
“Hey, don’t mention it.” Matthew replied.
Angel puts the cans on the floor and puts his backpack on the floor. He opens his backpack and starts putting the cans of peaches into his backpack. Angel has the last can in his hand. He looks at it and sees a girl on it. It kind of reminded him of the girl from his dreams for some strange reason. Angel puts the last can in his backpack and zips his backpack up. He puts it back on and looks at Matthew.
“Thanks for everything Matthew.” Angel said.
“Hey, no problem Angel. Stay safe out there.” Matthew replied.
“I will.” Angel responded.
Angel starts walking away from Matthew and onto a trail where he walks for a while. He gets to a sign and reads it.
“Ski lodge.” It said.
“A ski lodge? That could be a good place to stay for the night.” Angel thought.
Angel sees that the sign is pointed to a trail to his right. Angel decides to go and check out the ski lodge. After a couple minutes of walking, Angel finally gets to the ski lodge. Angel sees a big wooden building with ski lifts to the left of the building.
“Wow this place is amazing.” Angel thought.
Angel walks up the side of the building and gets to the side of the big wooden building. Angel reads some signs on the side of the building.
“Pinewood Run, Bogie’s trail, and Dano’s hell.” The three signs said.
“Well there’s no snow so I’ll pass.” Angel said.
Angel gets to the side doors of the building and sees that the door is covered and locked down tight.
“I’ll have to check up front.” Angel thought.
Angel sees that the doors aren’t covered with anything. He goes to a window and tries to look through it.
“Sir?” A man asked.
Angel turns around, shocked. He sees that there’s a man with a green jacket with a white shirt underneath, a brown hat, blue jeans, a big gun, and a big grey beard. There’s also a man with a red shirt on and blue jeans standing next to the man.
Angel puts his hands up.
“Sorry, I just needed to stay somewhere for the night. I didn’t know anybody was staying here.” Angel said.
“It’s alright. Why don’t you come in, mister....?” The man with the red shirt said.
“Angel.” Angel finished the man's sentence.
“Wait, you’re just gonna let him in like that? No way.” The man with the green jacket said.
“It’s alright Kenny.” The man with the red shirt replied.
“No it’s not. We don’t even know this kid.” Kenny said.
“How much damage could this kid do?” The other man asked.
“I don’t want to cause any trouble with you guys. I’ll just leave.” Angel said.
“No, wait. At least let me give you some food.” The man with the red shirt replied.
“You don’t have to do that. I already have some food.” Angel responded.
“No, no it’s fine.” The man said.
“What about you guys?” Angel asked.
“Don’t worry we’ve got plenty. You stay here. I’ll be right back.” The man with the red shirt answered.
The man walks to the building and Kenny and Angel just stare at each other.
“I haven't seen someone use that before. What’s that?” Kenny asked.
Angel takes his staff and shows it off.
“This is a staff. It was my father’s. He used to use it a lot and fight with it. But he’s gone now. This is the only thing I have left of him. I can take down those walker's pretty easily with it.” Angel answered.
“I’m sorry about your father. I’ve lost close people too.” Kenny revealed.
The man comes back with a box of food. He gives it to Angel and Angel holds it.
“This is too much.” Angel said.
“Don’t mention it.” The man replied.
“I can’t take all this. I have nowhere to go except to just keep walking.” Angel said.
“Well just take what you can.” The man responded.
Angel puts the box and his backpack down. He unzips his backpack and takes some granola bars, biscuits, and some more of the canned peaches he got before. He zips up the backpack and puts it on his back. His backpack feels really heavy now with all the food he was carrying.
“I don’t know how to thank you, mister….?” Angel said.
“Walter. Just help someone else down the line.” Walter replied.
“Thank you very much.” Angel said.
Angel leaves Kenny and Walter and continues his journey to find the girl from his dream.

Santiago’s perspective:

It’s been six days since Santiago got to the Nest. Santiago, Louis, and Ruben have been doing their jobs and getting weapons. Someone opens the door and walks into the room Santiago was sleeping in.
“Get up!” A voice yelled.
Santiago gets up and sees that it was Louis and not Moises, which was pretty weird. Sarah, James, and Gonzalo wake up and get out of their beds. They all walk up to Louise and look at him.
“Well guys today's the day.” Louis said.
“Really?” Santiago asked.
“Yeah. We’re taking down the Brotherhood, tonight. Just do what you regularly do and meet up here. We’ll bring everybody here and talk about how we’re gonna take them down.” Louis answered.
“Alright Louis.” Santiago said.
“Now get to work!” Louis yelled.
They get to the gun building and start filling the weapons with bullets like they regularly do.

A couple hours later:

It’s night time now. Everyone from the Brotherhood is sleeping. Everyone that was fighting against the Brotherhood was in the room that Santiago and the rest of the group slept in. The whole room had about thirty people. Sarah walks up to Santiago and looks at him.
“Where’s Gonzalo?” She asked.
“Gonzalo’s not here?” Santiago asked.
“No. I can’t find him anywhere.” Sarah answered.
“He’s probably here somewhere.” Santiago said.
Santiago starts to think about what they were about to do. He starts to think about Sarah and how he loved her so much and that she might die without knowing how he felt about her.
Santiago decides to finally tell her how he felt.
Santiago looks deep into Sarah’s eyes.
“Sarah I need to tell you something.” Santiago said.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Well, ever since I first saw you at high school, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Every single day I kept thinking about you and how I wanted to tell you how I felt about you.” Santiago answered.
“What do you feel about me?” Sarah asked.
Santiago notices that her eyes were getting wider.
“I love you Sarah.” Santiago revealed.
Sarah doesn’t say anything. She doesn't move away but just stares at him. Suddenly, Santiago and Sarah get close to each other. They lean closer and closer to each other and their lips get closer. Their lips touch and they kiss each other. Santiago didn’t think that he would ever kiss her. She was the most amazing and most beautiful girl he ever saw and he thought that she would never love him. They stop kissing and she looks at him.
“I love you too Santiago.” She revealed.
Suddenly a man shouts over everybody.
“Listen up! We’re tired of the Brotherhood!” A man yelled.
“Yeah!” Everyone else cheered.
Santiago and Sarah look and see that it was Louis who was yelling.
“We have been pushed around and forced to work for long enough!” Louis yelled.
“Yeah!” Everyone cheered.
“Now listen up! I have something I need to say.” Louis stated.
Everyone stays quiet and the whole room is in complete silence.
“Now we all have been pushed around and shoved around for quite a while now. But now we can lead a resistance. We have enough people to finally destroy the Brotherhood. Now I have to be honest with you, people will die. But I would rather die than be under the Brotherhood. This will be the beginning of something new. This will be the beginning of something better! This will be the beginning of a new frontier! Who’s with me?!” Louis asked.
Everyone cheers.
Louis puts his fist high towards the sky and everyone else does as well. Santiago, Sarah, and James put their fits up as well. But Gonzalo is still nowhere to be found. Everyone quiets down and Louis speaks again.
“Here’s the plan. We’ve got some bombs planted all around this place. When the time is right, we’ll blow them up and everything will go down. Then with our guns we will take down the Brotherhood. Everybody with me?!” Louis asked.
“Yes we are!” Everyone yelled in sequence.
“Let’s do this!” Ruben yelled.
Everyone starts running towards the doors. There are men at the doors giving guns to everyone that exits. Santiago gets an AK-47 when he exits and starts running towards Andreas’s mansion. Everyone is yelling as they run towards the mansion. But all of a sudden everyone stops running. Santiago stops and so does Sarah and James.
“What’s going on?” Santiago asked.
No one answers him.
Santiago and Sarah go through the crowd of people and get to the front of the crowd. What Santiago sees in front of him completely shocks him.
Andreas is standing there, with Gonzalo hostage. He had a long sword at Gonzalo’s throat. There are also lot’s of members of the Brotherhood standing around him with AK-47’s.
“Holy shit.” Santiago said.
The air is silent. The only thing that can be heard is the wind blowing the trees in the night sky.
“You guys thought that we didn’t know? You guys didn’t think that we knew you were gonna go against us? I know everything! You guys fucked up, and know you guys need to be taught a lesson.” Andreas said.
Andreas puts the sword closer to Gonzalo’s throat.
“No! Maybe we can reach a deal!” Santiago suggested.
“How about…. No?” Andreas retorted.
Andreas takes the sword and slits Gonzalo’s throat.
“Nooooo!” Santiago yelled.
Blood gushes from Gonzalo’s throat and Gonzalo falls down to the ground. Blood goes out from Gonzalo’s body and onto the floor. Andreas grins at everyone.
Santiago looks at Louis.
“Use the bombs!” Santiago yelled.
Louis takes a remote from out of his back pocket and activates the bombs.
Bam!
An explosion happens near the mansion.
Bam!
Another explosion happens near the cafetería.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Multiple bombs keep going off. Fires starts to flare up the night sky.
Andreas looks around and looks at everyone in an angry face.
“Kill them all!” Andreas ordered.
Everyone from the Brotherhood starts shooting at them. Everyone fighting against the Brotherhood go into cover. People from both sides keep firing at each other. People from the Brotherhood and the people against them are dying. Santiago runs to a barrel and hides behind it. Santiago looks to his right and sees James shooting at some members of the Brotherhood. Santiago looks over the barrel he’s behind and starts shooting at the Brotherhood. He kills three people and then hides behind the barrel again. Santiago looks to his right and sees James shooting.
“You good James?!” Santiago asked.
James goes up and starts shooting again.
“Yeah I’m.” James can’t finish his sentence.
James gets shot in the chest and falls to the floor.
“No!” Santiago yelled.
Santiago looks over the barrel and starts shooting even more members of the Brotherhood. He kills two of them and then hides again. Louis goes to the barrel next to Santiago.
“Hey, you’ve got to move!” Louis ordered.
“Why?” Santiago asked.
“These barrels are explosive! Move!” Louis ordered.
As soon as Louis said that an explosion erupts. Santiago gets up and runs towards a big crate and hides behind it.
“Come on Louis!” Santiago yelled.
Louis gets up but suddenly he falls to the ground. James is a walker and he is holding onto Louis’s leg. Louis get’s bitten by James and can’t get out of his grip.
“Louis come on!” Santiago yelled.
“Keep going kid! This is the end for me! Just go!” Louis yelled.
“No I can’t!” Santiago retorted.
“Go!” Louis yelled.
Santiago gets up and starts running towards Louis. Suddenly a bullet hits the barrel and it explodes. The explosion makes Santiago fall backwards and to the ground. Louis’s body is gone and a fire takes his bodies place.
“Noooo!” Santiago yelled. Santiago gets up and starts shooting towards the Brotherhood. He kills six people and then runs to a building close to him. Santiago goes up the stairs and enters the building. When Santiago gets into the building he knows exactly where he is.
“This is Andreas’s place.” Santiago said.
Santiago walks to where Andreas’s throne was but doesn't see him. Suddenly a bomb explodes in the mansion and it sends Santiago to the ground. The whole building was on fire. There’s fire all around Santiago. Santiago gets up and sees a crate full of swords.
“Santiago!” A voice yelled.
Santiago turns around and sees Sarah standing at the entrance.
“Sarah!” Santiago yelled.
Santiago starts running towards Sarah.
Suddenly something comes out of Sarah’s body. The tip of a sword goes through her body and the sword is covered in Sarah’s blood. Sarah’s face turned from a face of happiness, to a face of fear. The sword gets taken out of Sarah’s body and Sarah falls to the ground. When Sarah falls to the ground Santiago sees who killed her.
It was Andreas.
Santiago is completely shocked.
“You fuck! You killed Sarah!” Santiago yelled.
“I did, didn’t I? Oh well, another wristband for my collection.” Andreas said.
Santiago takes out his AK-47 and points it at Andreas.
Andreas starts walking towards Santiago.
“Are you really gonna shoot me?” Andreas asked.
Santiago pulls the trigger.
But no bullets come out.
The gun is empty.
“Shit! Come on!” Santiago thought.
Andreas goes down the aisle, getting closer to Santiago.
“Let’s settle this like men.” Andreas said.
Andreas takes off his leather jacket and puts it on the floor. He has a grey shirt and has a black wristband on his right arm.
He stops walking and looks at Santiago.
“Time to finish this. Once and for all!” Andreas yelled.
Andreas picks up his sword and points it at Santiago. His muscles flex as he points his sword.
A bomb explodes in the mansion. The chairs around them fly through the air. Even more fire is around them. Santiago goes to the crate of swords and takes one out. He points it at Andreas.
“I’m gonna kill you!” Santiago yelled.
“This is gonna be fun.” Andreas said.
The whole building around them is on fire. The whole room feels really hot and both Andreas and Santiago are sweating. They start walking around each other, sizing each other up. They stop walking and look at each other.
They knew they would have to fight to the death. Only one person would leave alive.
It was Santiago versus Andreas
