Do you think that Aj will be alive in present day next episode since the new frontier took him?
I feel as if Clem wont survive in the end trying to save Aj but i have been wondering where Aj was and in the episode 3 trailer its says what happened but is he at the new frontiers base or is he dead? If he is not dead it may be a way to kill off Clem ir him by having Clem watch him die and have him say her name for the first time or have him watch clem die and try to save her (i know this was sort of all over the place sorry and by the way Clem is my favorite character so i hope this is wrong)

Ooh, I like this one. Job said, he cried during Ep. 3, so this is (at least imo) veery likely.
Could also be another shocker (like with Mariana), where Clem thinks, AJ is safe and he, and I really like your idea here, talks for the first time (saying her name is a great idea) and at that moment he gets killed.
Edit: And I also really hope, Clem makes it. Can't imagine, how pissed 99.9% of players would be, if TTG killed her soon.
I certainly hope they don't don't kill off Clem or else my drudgerous hard work from waiting would be completely demolished and she's 99% of the reason I still play this game
Yeah i have played all 3 seasons i love this game and I've noticed a sort of trend over how telltale kills off characters
I hope so too because she is like the main reason i bought season 3 off the back
By the way when i said he gets killed i meant something like walkers grab him or something while Clem is trying to get him out of a area or something like Sarah's death because if it were to happen and make a effect on me i would want to see something like he falls into a herd of walkers or runs away while Clem is asleep and Clem finds him and sees him get attacked and screams her name (im sorry if i am not making too much sense its late over here and im really tired if not just tell me and i will try making it clear tomorrow
Clementine isn't dying at least until episode 4 since she's the title screen for it. In regards to AJ i hope he lives just because of everything thats happened to get him this far.
Well yeah its a little obvious she wont die in episode 3 but if she does die it will be in episode 4 and it is still possible for Aj to die
Episode 4 or episode 5 i meant to put episode 5 in that reply
Anyone can die at this point. I wouldn't be shocked if eventually Clementine was killed off.
Did you notice Clem doesn't care about AJ in present time? She just needs a van to leave the area.
The question is why NF took her baby?
I think they are producing giants; feeding babies with some toxic sh**, they grow and are ultimate weapon for David's army. He can attack other colonies with help of giant babies. AJ is not cute anymore, he's more like "The Green Mile" John Coffey.
Damn dude
She may need the car to get to the new frontier to get him back
If they kill off AJ I will seriously doubt Telltale's ability to finish this season strong.
Nah, David's probably taken him in as a replacement for Gabe and Mariana or something. He doesn't seem like the type of person to kill a toddler or child for that matter.
Also, it would be pretty lame to kill off the last person connected to the S2 cast. Damn it, Telltale this is why you make an established group (one of the things the show does better).
The problem is more complex... do they have any reason to take AJ besides to force Clem to do shit for them? Like, they have zero ambition to care for the weaker ones - sort of Crawford ideology "survival for the fittest" - or to settle down in community similar to Wellington, in which kids can grow up peacefully and take their time to adjust and learn. Nope. From all we can gather, NF's squad is more or less the general post-apocalypse jumble where all murderers, freaks and other deprived fucks finally freed from the severity of the law enjoy their time blowing people's faces off.
You just keep carpe-ing diem until you die.
If not for Clementine, NF have absolutely zero reason to keep AJ alive. Since we've seen they won't hesitate when it comes to killing children, I'd say it's quite possible for this topic to get darker very soon. Plus, we know that the slaughterhouse is out there, waiting. Just like me for the real story to kick in.
The slaughter things reminded me of the St. Johns dairy in season 1
They killed off all season 1 and all season 2 other than Clem and Aj it wouldn't be to hard to believe they would do that
What i got from the Pax trailer is that David kicked Clementine out and kept AJ.
Clearly for something in return, scavenging for NF maybe? Clementine's smart. I doubt David would take upon himself the risk of raising a child, unless he's caught some syndrome and now feels like a new child would recompensate his long lost own children.
Goddammit, I thought something similar as a joke at one point.
That's my thought as well. Granted, he's not the one raising AJ, but same idea.
Well, there's still Mike and Arvo, but we're not likely to see them anytime soon or later.
Agreed.
Actually, that only applies to Badger so far. Every other New Frontier member we've seen has been chummy, rule-orientated, or both, with numerous moments suggesting they are an orderly bunch with rules and laws about the way they operate. There's also no indication they are threatening towards children or believe in Darwinism.
Unfortunately, if they did appear most people would kill Arvo on the spot. Also, they probably ran away to avoid shitty models and horrific deaths so good on them (Bonnie's screwed no matter what so might as well run off then find out she's pregnant with Luke's baby or something).
Damn, Luke's been working overtime! No wonder he was woozy and got caught.
Either that or she'll drown in a puddle.
I think they're different. They've shown they have rules, possibly trials too. Bader doesn't represent them. David will, so we shouldn't assume.
What? Did you not see her panicing when TNF took richmond
Is that her plan? Get a van, storm NF camp, grab AJ and run? This isn't A-Team, this is TWD!
So what? She wanted to stay away from NF and (prob.) AJ mutant.
I wouldn't exactly say the merciless slaughter only applies to Badger, since he wasn't the only one who opened first at the junkyard, nor was he the only person who sacked Prescott. And that last one was despite Maxs loud protests that they didn't have the go ahead to do so, people followed Badger anyway.
Well, Max jumped at Javi straight on to kill him for some gas (even if you didn't take any, but it's bad writing right there) and could shoot him in cold blood if Javier hesitates to open a trailer door; which shows he gets angry quick/he's hotheaded or just hates thieves (for some unknown reason). We've seen the other members of NF to kill people who had already surrendered to them (Wellington), innocents (Prescott) and shooting fleeing woman in the back of her head (Edith), what means they've got no human decency or codex and they do not follow any rules. Also, judging by the Ep3 trailer, NF has stored the signs of fallen/destroyed/taken over communities in some sort of trophy or pride.
Well max seems to be somewhat rational since be spared Javier and showed sympathy and compassion for the group at the end of EP2 and didn't agree with invading Prescott. As far as David goes in the PAX trailer he seems to be calm and reasonable when talking to clementine and it seems he's not armed at the moment.
It's implied that Badger is a lieutenant or at least the same rank as Max, as he briefly shows up with him after Javier knocks Lonnie out and Max is implied to not be able to override his orders after it was already being put to work. He's also the only one of his team to speak so far, indicating importance.
Considering he's a guy whose essentially stealing their supplies four years into the apocalypse, I can understand him being angry and suspicious. Also note that he's most likely the one who told Rufus not to kill Javier for what he did to Lonnie because of their justice system.
That's something that will likely be explored in the upcoming episode, so no absolutes on this one. With that said, it's possible that the Wellington attack was before David took over and Badger could've been in charge of that as well, given that the cornrows guy who helps arrest Javier for Badger is the initial reason people assumed the New Frontier was involved in that; that's assuming that was even the New Frontier of course, as both background and unused dialogue indicates that it was just a bunch of pissed off families who banded together out of envy to either get more food or take Wellington down.
If aj dies
Wtf is the whole point of season 2?!?
To make money through pandering.
