Wow the animation and voice work seem very stilted and awkward. David talking to Gabe felt very awkward and stilted, it came to fast out of his mouth and the physical affection happened awkwardly before the lines and with no reaction verbally from Gabriel.

I saw that scene, and I couldn't help but wonder why his lead literally looks like paste or a large tongue mixed with his brain.
It looks so ridiculous to me. I mean, does Javier have superhuman strength and a baseball bat made of adamantium or something? How does a few strong wacks to the skull end up with that result?
I'd understand it if he was a walker because it makes sense for his head to kinda look like that since you know, he's a walking corpse with rotting flesh and it would kinda look mushy. But a few whacks to the head with a baseball bat should not make a person's head look like that.
Edit: I think even Carver's head still retained some form of a skull after Kenny bashed it in with a fucking crowbar.
