Watch dogs 2 was a great game but with an ok storyline which was mostly all about fun and it somehow worked without any help but now things may look brighter for ubisoft storytelling skills
Season 1 as a whole had fewer writers than this one episode. Season 1 was:
* Sean Vanaman
* Mark Darin
* Gary Whitta
Even Season … more2 had fewer writers:
* Nick Breckon
* Andrew Grant
* Pierre Shorette
* Eric Stirpe
* JT Petty
And what makes it even funnier is that, of all those writers that I mentioned, only one of them is working on TWD:ANF (that being Nick Breckon), and he wasn't even one of the writers for this episode.

I don't mean to complain but i was thinking if telltale kept up with their monthly releases we could have been in episode 5 but I bet episode 3 will be amazing (at least in my opinion) and 3 months might be worth it just thinking out loud.
I agree, a bad A young girl raising a toddler in the apocalypse (who has had two games of character development chosen by the player) is a far more interesting main protagonist.
I know there are definitely a lot of differences but Javier's story is far too similar to Rick Grimes for me, while Clementine is a more unique and interesting protagonist.
Javier would of made a phenomenal side character, and Javi and Telltale would have gotten a lot less hate if he was. Telltale would have had much better marketing if they stuck with Clem.
I always thought, about that how couldn't they not understand that if they would've continue Clemy Story (with playable Clemy of course) tha… moret would've been better for them because they would've start to get sales from S1 and S2 again because of the "newcomers" who would've like to find out how Clemy's story starts! So i really don't understand Telltale on making the story about the new "Cubancuck" that nobody knows about instead of our loveable Clemy:

For the first question, yes. You did have a couple additional writing credits in most of the episodes, but their contributions are extremely minimal and are not listed in the main "Written by" part of the credits. Each episode of Season 1 was written by one individual, with maybe one or two guys being credited with additional writing credits (which were usually either one of the other main writers or designers of the series).
For the second question, pretty much yes. Usually what happens is that the lead writer and lead designer work together to help create the episode, so the designer could have, maybe, contributed a few lines (but then they would get contributed as an additional writing credit). But for the most part, yeah, the dialogue of Season 1 was handled by either Sean, Mark, or Gary, with some tiny contributions from designers such as Jake Rodkin, Harrison Pink, and whoever else was a major designer for the game.
Nothing happened, they just wanted to move on to bigger and better things. With having their own studio, it allows them to have more creative liberties and allow them to create their own games. I'm sure they loved working at Telltale, it was just their time to move on.
...So I just came back and oh my god, what is going on?
So the episode has somehow been leaked? (A similar thing happened with TWD Season 2 Episode 4 in which people playing on mobile could somehow play it but that was only like A DAY BEFORE the episode got released?)
Also what is this about Kevin Bruner has stepped down and Dennis Lennart, Pierre Shorette and Nick Herman left for Ubisoft? It seems things are not going well for Telltale.
As of right now things are pretty shaky for telltale. Apparently XB1 season pass owners were leaked a early version of the episode last Friday.There has been several telltale staff that have left in previous months with Kevin Bruner's step down as CEO questionable to say the least.

I can't post this in a episode 4 waiting thread as it doesn't exist yet but they have added the episode 4 depot to the Steam database.

Hopefully this means we won't need to wait as long for episode 4 after 3 has released.
Assuming we get the future episodes quicker I think we'll get EP4 late May or Late June. I think we'll get EP5 in August or September. This would follow a similar release pattern of S2.

Cringe.

Were those definitely ALL the writers and not just the leads?
Was every single piece of dialogue in season 1 seriously written by one of three people?
I'm hoping for a Wrench DLC to be released from ubisoft still.

Well telltale said episodes 4&5 would come out on a tighter schedule than EP3.
Has Telltale addressed the leak?
No. They've just ignored it and went on with business as usual.

Hmm so allowing a full leak with no response or change to the release date, Fair enough
Sounds about right.
They did? Well I hope they will be good.

glances over at The Walking Dead: Season One
Yeah, how dare we expect decent two hour or so episodes am I right?
We need to....
MAKE TELLTALE GREAT AGAIN!
Hype gets video games killed, amirite?
You can only make something great if it wants to be.
cough cough
I BELIEVE it will happen.
Telltale sold out when they won GOTY. Typical jerkoff in the real world when they go from broke to rich. They don't remember their loyalty friends.

That is an interesting comment. I've never heard anyone have that harsh of a opinion of jobs.

One week...
I have 3 likes, you have 3 likes and posted a picture with a 3 on it. I see what you did there.
This is TellTale right now

Anyone know what location you have to be on xbox to get episode 3?
I think it's totally random, so changing location won't work.
Because that worked so well for America.. :P
i luv u
I just hear mix responses about it, wasnt sure.

Job hinted that Episodes 4 and 5 would have quicker releases than Episode 3, so this is not too terribly surprising but it definitely is good news!
