What about max? i heard that he is one of the factors of the ending but i'm not sure what happens with him. just a few days but i can't wait to play it.
I did watch a few of the videos posted, but they all seem to end before David returns to take Javier. I'm kinda figuring she somehow sneaks off before they send them on their way, and the game plays out like normal with her returning and having the flashback scene, thanks though.
Someone posted a few pics and clips a few pages back and someone else said he does. If I had to guess, Clementine is probably kicked out with them or something.
And I happen to not like that, even if it is technically something she copied from Jane.
Either way, if anyone's gonna make baseball-related oneliners with Fbombs, might as well have the baseball player do it since he's the PC and protagonist. Clementine can come up with her own stuff.
Why can't Clem steal a catch phrase if Javier can steal a sequel lol. In all fairness though, given her age I'm not sure she'd be familiar with the phrase.

Could Eleanor and Joan be related? They look kinda similar as far as I remember.. Unfortunately I can't look it up atm xd

Eleanor has like 3 lines that's it, I don't even know why TT gave her a role if she does not impact the story well enough. Maybe we can explore more of her in episode 4?

Clem should know about her, since she was there (being a part of ANF) for a while and Joan is one of the more known chars inside their walls (she's responsible for contact with other settlements, what a funny coincidence btw (= ).
But seems like David is more the problem for Clem, at least that's what we know for now.
But if Eleanor is related to Joan, she'd know more about her, just like Javi does about David.
This could cause trouble within "our" group - Eleanor conflicted, if she should side with Joan and Javi sticking to David, etc...

That is a very good point, even if the unfortunate implications would double if a lot of people's predictions [dreadfully] ended up being true. Funnily enough, its one I previously speculated could happen with Conrad and Ava.

If you don't kill Conrad, he and Clementine will be in most of the episode and have some interesting interactions with the TNF group. If you kill Conrad then Clem will only show up near the end of the episode.
I'm mainly curious how he reacts to Ava during their exile and how he reacts to Javi killing Badger. None of the leaked playthroughs I've seen spared Conrad

That was my first thought as well, but the first problem is whether or not Clementine even knows of Joan.
Wait what?
What does Clementine have to do with it?
Comments
He is determinant.
That's a shame. he didn't seem like a complete jerk like badger and lonnie.

Here
This episode completely changed my vision of him.
clementine has been swearing like a sailor.

Seriously guys... cake or spinach stew?

She can, but he needs to establish it as a catchphrase first in order for that joke to work. Otherwise, you get this.
Why not both... wait never mind, that sounds awful.

Yeye I'm not sure either, but would be enough if Eleanor had contact maybe with Joan .. Joan wasn't in the Clem flashback scene with AJ, was she?
Now that I think about it, they do look rather similar enough to be related.
...That or the 3D artist got lazy and just used Eleanor's model as a reference to design Joan.
Good eye, it would be interesting if the two were related
Does Conrad die in episode 3?
No, he actually has some impact in this episode.
No, but David does mention her when Lingard tries to convince him to give Clementine another chance. So it's very possible she never met her.
Yay yay-EEh! Can't wait to see what that entails.

Perhaps. Still, you need a doctor character and she does get a fair amount of love from Tripp and Dr. Lingard despite her limited screentime.

Can you elaborate por favor

Anything on Conrad?
Same here! Same fucking here! Give us da details, Rick!
Just flies and maggots in my game.
It is possible that the group of David, Ava, Lingard, Max and Clementine, and the group of Joan and Clint, merged at one point!
It's not just because the two are Asian-American, is it? I have not yet checked whether the two do look similar.
Wait what?
What does Clementine have to do with it?
You're on a streak.
This point was raised in a thread asking why Eleanor doesn't trust Clementine and vice versa.
Can't Eleanor go with Javi, Tripp and Jesus? Or she stays in New Richmond no matter what?
Judging the ending of the episode I have a feeling we might actually have to rescue Javi as Clementine in episode four.
I found the trailer was super spoilery so I dont feel as bad for watching a lot of the episode already.
The one mystery that still remains to most who have seen episode 3
And the select few that do know still haven't told us squat
In what way, if you don't mind me asking?
