Should AMC pull a HBO on Walking Dead?
should AMC and everyone on the Walking Dead agree to do less episodes that way the budget for the last 2-3 episodes can go for the rest of the 13-14 episodes? i mean we saw how much of their budget went to Shiva and they had some very shitty CGI moments so maybe that could help them have better cgi. also maybe they can have less filler episodes. now, dont get me wrong, i love the episodes where the character development is on point, the last two episodes have been my favorite, but they have done some crap filler episodes, so maybe that makes it more of a - for lack of a better phrase/ word, more of high stake episodes. more meaningful episodes, and possibly longer episodes.
so idk, what do yall think?

I'd prefer shorter seasons as they could tell a tighter story without so much filler, they won't though as they wouldn't be able to get as much advertising money.
You can pretty much watch the first three and the last three episodes and know what has gone on during the entire season, they just don't have enough story content there and it is really beginning to show. I'd half expected to see a musical episode at some point.
No, it wouldnt solve a thing since fans are never pleased no matter what they do. Also, Im happy with the two mini-seasons a year model. If they did less episodes, fans would complain about the extra long wait between seasons.
yeah, honestly i think that is the way many WD fans would act, but in all i think it helps the show more.
It would seem to help. And for the short term I'd agree. But we're going in to S8 soon unless the TVshow pulls a GunSmoke/Simpsons I'd assume S9 or 10 to be the end of the show. It can't last forever. Meaning I want all the filler they can give. Take The X-Files series end as a warning though we can't have as many loose ends going forward. TV fans demand some sort of resolution that does not feel forced or fake. AKA RICK's still in a comma or The Tiger Ate everyone the end. Anything that avoids that sort of BS I'm for.
They want to keep it on the air for 20 years apparently lol but I would be very surprised if that happens. The actors will most likely want to move on by then
