THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU (EP 3 SPOILERS)

CONRAD WASN'T A USELESS DETERMINANT CHARACTER... THANK YOU THANK YOU

Comments

  • its a really fucking good thing i gave him that gun

  • Praise Conrad despite Telltale wanting to smother him with a pillow of determinant deaths. I hope it becomes a recurring thing, and he can end up living through the season, but I'm content enough with his role in episode 3.

  • Whatta slap in the face to those S2 determinant characters this is.

  • It's cool though. They are learning from their mistakes. GOOD TELLTALE, YOU DID A GOOD!

I feel like all I do is criticize them so I have to praise them when they improve.

    Couldn't they made Mari determinant?

The character that a lot of players found likable?

btw I really don't see how Conrad was useful, he was just... there... doin' his own thang.

  • Yep. Same here. I tried to look through the eyes of Javi. I'm closely attached to Clementine, but Javi isn't. So that's why I let Conrad take her hostage. Best decision ever

  • It's the little things that counts. For example;

He wasn't spiritually dead like Nick was during episode 3.

Little Things. Apologizing to Javi, Killing Badger, and just being a part of the group.

    Little things!

  • There are still some flaws there.

    • Not enough dialogue
    • Determinant character which many people agreed to have him killed
    • Second time he dies, he is just forgotten not after 1 minute
  • Hey, I like the little things too.

But I wanted to happen to the characters that, in some sort of way, have been developed to a certain degree.

  • First double detriment character aswell

  • hes probably gonna be either determinant again in episode 4, or fucking die in a gunfight, because richmonds going to shit in the next episode

  • Won't be too bothered if he goes in episode 4 after how well he was treated in episode 3. Harvey/two face is still my favorite determinant character, but Conrad is definitely up there.

  • Oh yeah...now all they got to do is give him some actual depth which they still haven't done.

  • I love the episode, but I agree with you on the Season 2 characters. Sarah and Nick had so much potential...

  • When you're dead for 90% of players but Telltale decides to make you the most interesting determinate character ever made

  • It's 82% now, get you're facts straight son.

  • Was obvious to me that he was just a guy going through some temporary insanity and wasn't really a serious threat. People probably killed him out of loyalty to Gabe or (most likely) Clementine. I'm glad I saved him I guess.

  • Cheers to that!

Batman was so forgettable that I forget what that even means lmao

  • Always a good idea to expect fans to change their choices to get the most out of a new episode.

Finally, someone who thinks like me!

Sometimes, Telltale just wants to watch their fans go up in flames.

  • This episode actually really made me like Conrad. I really want to see him grow.

  • Yeah, I kinda forsaw this happening the moment he became determinant at the end of the first episode and am definitely glad he got some love here.

Though I will say the 2nd death itself kinda made furrow my eyebrows a bit and I was also hoping we'd get more interaction with him and Clementine to milk that subplot development for what it's worth.

  • Yeah accepting the plan is way better Clementine doesn't even care that you did
