Am I one of the only people who actually likes Conrad

IMO Conrad is my 2nd favorite companion apart from Clem. He is one of the relatable AND emotional of the group. I gave him the gun and did not realize that would actually save him which is fucking amazing. Finally, I let him kill Badger just so I can build up relation with him and let him seek revenge.

  • Yeah I love him best quote ever "You're not a man you're nothing"

Conrad is one of those characters I really dig. I wanted to do whatever was in his best interest to keep his friend/girlfriend/Wife(?) safe, but obviously shit happens and he had the right to get upset in episode 2, even if he went overboard with Clementine, but the fact that he actually apologized and felt guilty about the situation in episode 3 redeemed him in my eyes. I don't regret giving him the gun, but I do wish I gave him the satisfaction of killing Badger.

  • In episode 3 he apologizes for his behavior in the tunnel (provided you didn't shoot him in his face, obviously)

  • I liked him the most out of the new cast until he pulled a gun on two kids and I felt forced into shooting him :/

  • I didn't kill him, and though I don't see Javier becoming Super BFF's with him, he is growing on me.

  • I don't kill if I don't have to. Which is why I didn't. And it paid off.

  • I like the character and I hope they keep him around if you kept him alive.

  • Despite being in the minority, I'm don't regret my decision at all not shooting him. He's growing to be one of my favorite characters in this season. I can only hope he survives Telltales's determinant character curse.

  • I love Conrad if you don't kill him he changes and talks about how he wasn't him down there and I hope he can stay longer

  • I like Conrad; I don't get why people keep hating on him

  • I don't get why people keep hating on him

People seem to hate him for an ongoing reason. He threatened to turn Clementine in. So what? Conrad did apologize for what he did. And there are characters who have been friends with Clementine who have done worse. For example Nick from Season 2. He almosts kills Clementine. Everyone is like "I forgive you Nick." Hell the whole cabin locked Clementine away when she could have died in there. Everyone is ok with that. Kenny attacks Ben for helping the bandits. Kenny attacks Arvo even though he didn't want his group to kill Clementine's group. Conrad brings Clementine to the New Frontier. Conrad let's it go, apologizes, and offers Javier a gun(But Conrad should just keep it). Conrad lives and becomes an interesting character who delivers justice to Badger for his Francine and makes it to episode 4, unlike most determinant characters. And don't forget that there aren't that many survivors. People spared Max for the same reason.

I like Conrad; I don't get why people keep hating on him

  • Nick did that on accident, tho; he got spooked and had his finger on the trigger.

Everyone loves Kenny and everyone WANTS ARVO TO BURN IN HELL (I actually like the little guy; he needs more love).

  • I love Conrad. He's easily become one of my favorite new characters in the game despite being determinant and relatively minor. The only thing I disliked about him was his writing in the first episode and that awkwardly forced choice between him and Clementine and I also liked how he subtlely and cleverly broke the fourth wall saying that "That man in the tunnel wasn't me.". I hope Telltale do right by him and not just fuck him up and leave him in a fence. He's a compelling and complex character that deserves an opportunity to shine

  • I like him! He also had really good voice acting this episode.

  • Yeah, admittedly, I still have no idea what they're exact relationship was. I'm guessing wife, though. Official or not.

Nope. He's in my number 3/4 ANF character.

Also, it really does kinda amuse me how he's pretty much the closest thing ANF has to a Kenny/Sarah despite Tripp clearly resembling that.

  • Yup, I felt the same. So glad I didn't..

I don't kill if I don't have to. Which is why I didn't. And it paid off.

  • Me too Zero F's given. Act the fool die like one. Which is why Clem needs to find chill but fast. Depending what stupid thing she does I may have to let her reap what she's sowed. Love Clem but this not my cannon play thru. If it was a pure scumbag situation. on her part RIP Sweet Pea. Ya done f'd up mercy kill and be done. Note My cannon will be everyone who can live will. But TWD is at its best when all hell is unleashed.

I liked him the most out of the new cast until he pulled a gun on two kids and I felt forced into shooting him

  • I have 2 saves and Conrad is alive in one of them. I forgave what he did especially as he seemed to regret it before you have the choice of giving him the gun. I also let him kill Badger as a way for him to avenge Francine

  • Well, for starters, i killed him.
BUT! I regret that choice... If only there's a rewind feature so i can change my choice easily.. Then again, the best choice is the first choice i chose and i will stick with it. (why did i kill himmmmm)

  • I understand the man he wasn't who he was at the ep2....but I liked him and tripp more in ep3 becuase they were simply the best thing in this episode besides the aj clem and badger

  • you just answered your own question lol

I love Conrad. He is one of my favourite characters. For me, he totally redeemed himself in Episode 3. I hope TellTale doesn't pull a Nick on him and do him right. Conrad deserves the spotlight. It's such a shame only 10% kept him alive. I would do everything to keep him in the story until the very end.

If Conrad survives to episode 5, it'd technically make him the longest lasting determinant character in the game thus far, managing to survive at least 2 full episodes before his death. Even better if he-- against all possible odds-- survived episode 5.

So yeah, let's see it happen.

  • I don't want Arvo burn in hell. If you read the translations, you know Arvo was a good boy and didn't mean this. The group of Russians finally wanted to let Clem's group go, asking why Clem's group keep point the gun at them because they are nice peoples, but there was a language problem.

It started with Jane/Clem robbing him from his gun.
Kenny was very abusive on him and Arvo thought Clementine just killed his sister.
In fact the cabin group caused a lot of trouble to Arvo's family.

Nick did that on accident, tho; he got spooked and had his finger on the trigger. Everyone loves Kenny and everyone WANTS ARVO TO BURN IN HELL (I actually like the little guy; he needs more love).

  • I'm with you! I''m really rooting for Conrad to make it.

Just then Telltale proves our choices matter!

  • More like Kenny and especially Jane caused a lot of trouble to Arvo's family(which only consists of him and Natasha, btw, but I get what you mean). The Cabin Group themselves were in the process of becoming endangered by the time he showed up, unless you want to count Rebecca turning when she did.

  • I didn't really have an issue with him until he put a gun to Gabe's head, I just reacted and shot him the instant it happened.

  • I like him, except for the moment when he absolutely trips balls in Episode 1.2. But him alive leads to a more enjoyable story in my opinion, especially since Telltale (and by extension the characters in the game) actually acknowledges his existence, a nice step up from previous TWD Seasons.

  • FINALLY, someone who speaks my language!

  • No, I think after episode 3 the general consensus is that he's one of the best of the season 3 cast.

I killed him, though, so I didn't get to see the character development unfortunately.
