Is it too late for Christa/Lilly/Mike/Arvo to show up?
I know, I know. Hundreds of discussions on this but I have to ask the question since we're past the halfway point of the season now. I was holding out hope that we'd have a return from one of the classic season one characters who were missing or even Mike and Arvo in season 2. I find it extremely odd for Telltale to code out Mike's optional death only for him not to return in ANF. I mean if Mike dies, I'm guessing Arvo would die out on his own. And Bonnie is determinant so I don't have much hope for her returning as far as that goes but I was still hoping we'd see Christa or even Lilly.
Guess we won't have any of that now...

Lilly's been gone for 2 entire seasons now, So i wouldnt really expect her to return, Christa MIGHT have died, as if i remember correctly there were sound files of her getting stabbed (?) Not sure though, don't quote me on that, Mike/Arvo might come back though. Maybe even as a flashback
Yeah I figured Christa died. I guess I'm holding out hope because there's a lot of potential left for them. I do hope to see Mike and Arvo. Possibly in Episode four or five.
Yes. Telltale has pulled the "improbably reunited" trope too many times now.
Yes. For one, we've had too many improbable reunions (Clem with Kenny, Javi with David), we're already pushing the limit of realism. Secondly, after Kenny took the spotlight away from the cabin group, I don't want to see that happen again. Thirdly, Telltale has made it pretty obvious that this game is intended for new players who have never played the previous seasons, so don't expect those characters to show up.
Ugh why couldn't it have been Christa who came back in season 2........
We just lost her, that would've been much less interesting.
We dont need an unprobable reunion, we just need to see their corpse or them as a walker. Just give us some sort of closure with some characters.
They could've changed the story. Kenny had a great send off in season 1 and Christa and Omid were still sort of fresh characters. Just seemed like a waste to me. I feel blah thinking retrospectively about season 2.
If you try to sneak away, Winston will spot you and stab Christa with his spear/halberd for lying before going after Clementine.
Yes. I got off that train before the game came out and I'd rather they save them for a potential future installment then throw them in at the halfway point.
I don't think any character from the first two seasons will ever come back. It's too late and they wouldn't fit in anyway. It would be pure fanservice and feel forced, which is bad.
Clem says she still has friends in the new frontier. Its still possible Lilly, Christa or Molly could be one of those friends. No Arvo though

Can't we just forget about them? This game is for the new players and after episode 3, it's impossible for forgotten characters to come back.
When I think about how often they already played this "I thought you were dead!" - card, I doubt they would do that again. Technically It could still happen, because Lilly, Christa and co. could be anywhere right now and so possibly show up. But, let's say, It wouldn't be as surprising as back in S2.

I think it would make sense for Lily to return as part of new frontier since she fits in well with them. Seeing how she has a military background I think she'd fit well with David and Ava. At this point I think Mike&Arvo are going to pull a Molly and never be seen again.

She was originally supposed to get "Ralph" shot instead and run off to unknown parts.
That was patched out of the game.

Honestly the end of every season has been the same so far. The group is robbed by someone we trusted and everyone ends up dead. We have never caught one of these thieves, neither Vernon or Mike and Arvo.
Hey Telltale, can we please finish some business with these people? The TV show and comic do not end their volumes with every character being exterminated and the bad guy getting away to never be seen again.
