Thread: Telltale is going to do an AMA on Friday
Starting an AMA on reddit when yall didnt even finish the one on your official forums.....?
Riiiight.
Because the last one went so well...
The actual development team answering the questions will help this go much smoother (if the Tales and Story Mode AMA are any indication).
Having an AMA = good idea.
Failing to show up for the damn AMA on multiple occasions = bad idea.
It is going to be full of people insulting them for kiling Kenny, Mariana, Jane...
I hope they are at least creative, like asking them
Hey guys! Here are the people who will be participating in the AMA. Several folks from the New Frontier dev team, woo! I unfortunately will not be in/online on Friday, but I'll check in with you guys when I'm back from my vacay!
This will certainly be interesting to say the least. I hope this goes better than the multiple AMA's on the forum.
Thanks for doing this

Can't wait to see Job again!
Third times a charm!!! Right.....?
MAYBE I'll get a question answered, but just one right?
......
Why is Reddit so popular for Ask Me Anything?
The structure of the site makes following long threads very difficult.
What's the point? We ask questions, some good, some bad but nothing really changes.
I hope they don't cherry pick easy questions and blow off hard/legitimate questions.
An AMA isn't really intended to have long threads. It's more one question and an answering reply.
They chose Reddit, REDDIT, over THEIR OWN BLOODY FORUM.
Reddit will bring in a bigger audience for a AMA.
I'll see to it!
Well its not to surprising, they do hate us after all.

Maybe they thought that they'll get a better response from there.
Gortys is on the case it seems.
Seeing the AMA debacle on the forums it could be beneficial and refreshing to try it somewhere else.
I've heard some poor things about that lot. Not just specific forums, the whole website in general. That's another reason I'm complaining.
Better yet, why don't they just have an AMA on Twitter? You can't get a bigger audience than over there. Even the YouTube comment section.
when i look to UR gif i keep hearing a women voice in my head saying R U fucking kidding
I think we thought it would be good to bring more of the team this time.
We also had SO many questions last time that we just couldn't answer without spoiling anything, that we wanted to wait until Ep 3 went live to give this another shot!
Our creative director and some of our writers/designers will be joining, and we hop to get a little more in-depth this time around.
That said, even with reddit being more of a one day thing -- we'll be keeping more to the home base with you guys in the time afterward.
Sound like a plan?
Try, try again --- and this time --- bring the team! :P
I'd say it's more a case of reddit reaching out to us. That and the team has been so busy working on the episodes that it's been tough to pull them out of the studio to hop on. Not that everyone isn't always reading and always listening -- but we thought we'd give it a shot. That said, after the reddit time, we'll likely keep it up in the mix here on home base.
It's been an... interesting and very busy month indeed, and we're excited to tell you more about it!
Twitter AMA's are a little tough. 140 characters to not only ask but respond to complex questions is... not ideal.
That said, with more content (yes, FINALLY) out in the wild -- we thought we'd wait until now to circle back and let you know what we've been up to -- as well as peek into what's coming up on the not too distant horizon.
A: She was hungry, obviously!
it hurts to hear it from U

And thanks for your patience with us. (and me?)
We had a bit of a blitz-storm of in-house work and travel over the last month. The team was cranking not only on WD Ep 3, but also 4 and 5. Mostlypoptarts and I were also off in the lands of PAX East in Boston, then another whole week at SXSW with the fans at the sneak peek premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Now that we're back and in-house for a bit, and the team has some time to sit down and chat along with us, we decided to take reddit up on the their offer and take a stab of answering all we can about ANF tomorrow.
Afterwards, we'll be doing more to keep up with some Q's back here on home base, and thankfully it won't be just me this time trying to juggle it all.
We really do listen to you guys more than you might realize, and tomorrow, we're happy to take to reddit to answer all we can, and take it back here until it's back to the studio. Thanks again for all of your patience, and looking forward to chatting ANF in the morning!
60% through the season [technically just 30% since we're 2.5-3.5hrs in (which was about one and a half S1 episode...) because the episodes are so damn short] and only one or two complaints have been fixed. I hope you're actually listening and incorporating the feedback and not just 'considering it'.
You were blocked by jobs?
Yes lmao.
All I can say is that this is going to be a very...
VERY interesting AMA.
