So, are people satisfied with this?

Its smart from telltale's perspective to give a episode marginally better than last 2 (which were pathetic). I watched a playthrough and i have couple of questions: will it matter if i didnt steal drugs for AJ? if javi didnt speak about mariana, will he still get kicked out? Does any decision even matter? i dont know these questions. Also why they have to make everything stupid, like how max badger got caught randomly and alot of other stuff which i wont even go into. I still cant believe some of u are satisfied with this quality considering what telltale used to be back in s1 days.

Clem is accused of stealing and kicked out regardless of whether she actually stole the medicine.

Javier is kicked out regardless of whether he listened to David or not.

And no, I'm not satisfied. A marginally better 3rd episode does NOT make up for the lies and shortcomings surrounding the premiere.

  • I did all that David told me too, I covered for David, myself and Max. I picked all the peaceful answers just to get "WE CANT LET BANDITS IN OUR WALLS, JAVIER YOU NEED TO LEAVE" even though Badger, Max and David are obviously fucking bandits. That pissed me off. Had I known I would have gotten kicked out even though I kissed their asses I would have just cursed them out.

,like how max badger got caught randomly and alot of other stuff which i wont even go into.

Funny because it seemed like this whole time Javier didn't have a damn clue as to who really killed Mariana. He always said "one of your men killed her..." then all of a sudden he knows? Weird. It's like things only become apparent when the plot needs it.

Also, that "leave or go to David" choice was a load of shit too. When I saw the option I thought "you know, im probably going to get caught and be forced to go to David anyways but fuck it, I'll choose to leave." of course, I get caught anyways. I left because this whole thing is over some fucking pudding, and now David's gonna tear my ass up because of that. Can't wait.

Also, doesn't matter if you put the drugs back. You get caught and TNF kicks you out for helping the child that they want dead, but meanwhile take it from you. Yall want the kid dead and dont care about him but you keep him? How fuckin dumb is that.

Also, Clem has a lot of determinate dialogue. I do like this but I can seem to care to find out what sets it off. Without rewind his game just isn't repayable for me. I could sit for 10 hours on end replaying s2 episodes seeing the different choices. Can't now though.

  • Agree 100%. And I didn't notice any determinant dialogue with Clem, was it based off her s2 ending or something?

  • Pretty sure its based off the story generator. I picked Jane and lots of "survival" choices in my generator and all my Clem determinate dlog choices were about survival. Like after shes done with her flashback, for most people she says '....again." but she me she said "I survived, he didn't" which was kinda weird and out of place. Then I also got this:

    enter image description here

^there are like 3 determinate lines she can say here. Maybe 4.

I got a couple more about survival as well, cant remember them exactly off the top of my head though.

Your far from alone in your oppinion of episode 3. But I'm sure we're just a small but loud minority of 'fans' whom the team at Telltale are writing off as agitators.

Apparently marginal improvement is a cause for celebration now.

  • In my play Clem drops and breaks the medicine. SO it's a break it you bought it policy. I had a lot of glitches and freezes in my playthrough. And everyone looked like they had proto-molecule in their mouths when they talked or bled. And here we are jacking up another door. And if AJ lived shouldn't Clem be automatically let back in New Frontier? It shows how bad the last two episodes were that I'll take it. Gonna try and replay it to let Conrad live, but I always pop him once he pulls the gun on Gabe.

  • I think it is actually a loud minority case right here.

  • Even tough you chose to didn't steal a drugs for AJ, Clem still have to get out from the group and although javi didn't told about Mariana he still get kicked. I assume it because the cover of eps 4 looks like the Richmond fallin. It's all related, it's impossible if javi didn't get kicked and David will not know the truth about what happened in presscot.
