Friendly reminder : NO ONE IS SAFE.

I feel people are feeling a little (ALOT) of security in survival for certain characters. People are becoming too sensitive into thinking this game is going to follow Clementine into adulthood.

The Walking Dead doesn't work that way people. We've seen it happen in the comics, the show, and the game as well.

THIS SERIES DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR EMOTIONS. We may not "want" these things to happen and the fans might complain and think "it would be SOOO STUPID if they did that!" TV, Comic, or game. They do not care. They want you upset.

Episode 5 should bring people back to the walking dead universe, because right now it seems like we're each in our own. End it in mystery and misery. Remind us what we love can't always be protected. I want to come here the next day and see people crying. All caps posts asking why would they do such things? I want to hear people so emotionally disturbed they didn't sleep that night after what they saw.

This is the perfect time to end every characters journey this season one way or another. Telltale can take a long much deserved break and start fresh with new characters, new story, day 1. No strings attached, no old characters to force in.

  • Well yeah clem could die, but really what purpose would it serve?

  • Agreed.

It'd be purely for shock value.

If I knew any of the writers personally, all I'd say is, "Sure, you can kill her. You have that power. But just know you'll never sell another Walking Dead game ever again should you make this incredibly stupid choice."

Of course, this entire comment is just masquerading the absolute mental breakdown I'd have were she to actually bite the dust.

  • I get what you're saying but excluding AJ Clementine is the only survivor from seasons 1 & 2 killing her off would effectively make those seasons pointless.

  • Don't worry, realism doesn't work here.

  • Doesn't matter, a new frontier isn't canon anyways.

  • None is also safe from abysmal writing.

  • Whatever helps you cope
