well, its because most were. i loved, well really liked, the last 3 episodes because they were, you know, good. this was just meh, it just had action and that action wasnt all that great either. the prison siege, the real one not those dog shits from S3, the escape from terminous and that assault on the radio strong hold were great action. that strong hold episode in particular, whew, that was fucking awesome. this was meh.
not my fault that they decided to make such an awesome premier to the season and me expecting more for the finale since its basically the beginning of the War.

Where do you think Ricks group can stay now? He is boned if he stays in Alexandria, same goes for the hilltop colony, they are both to small that Negan can just steamroll right through. They could stay at The Kingdom, but it is only a matter of time. I feel like it will boil down to just one big battle scene at the end of the next season. Also, what do you think the Scavengers will do next?
I dont want non-stop action. I want it to do what it's always been doing, giving us a mixture of character development and action scenes. Basically, I want it to continue telling a story.
It never occurred to me that they would leave. They don't have to hide anymore because Negan knows exactly what they are about, including the Kingdom. I figured they would fortify the place and wait for Negan to try to come back.

Even my dentist would have been impressed at all the filling going on for most of the ep. Corny ass dialouge, everyone playing happy familes and shit. That's why Eugene has become such a good character. His betrayal as created tension in the camp and sparked off emotion among his former pals. He might be on borrowed time though after giving the poison to the chick in the box.
Now we get to the action itself. Man Rick really is a cat with 9 lives. Infact did any of his guys die in the shootout? They have to stop doing that. They done it in his shootouts with The Governor as well. Kill some of his guys as well so it doesn't feel like they are all protected by plot armour. Also I love how it was just assumed that Ezikel's tiger would just munch on the bad guys. Ridiculous really. Still some entertaining action and hilarity though. 7/10.
Lmao yeah was so pissed about Rick's plot armour I forgot all about Negan's as well. I thought it was him getting munched on by the tiger for a second. Also, sorry if this is a stupid question but can someone explain to me how all of Negan's guys didn't spot Ezikel's guys and a tiger. Rick must have hidden them well, lmao.
its really a meh episode, but it isnt bad... too much corniness and lol no one shot at a big ass tiger eating one of their friends. also the… morem garbage people are so goddamn wack its sad and hilarious. they are the equivalent of the Sand Snakes from GoT. at least they made it interesting with Michone but we all knew she wasnt going to die. enough of the "oh shit, is he/she alive or dead" moments. Tyrese's death was beautiful because it was the focal point of that episode, this is just filler, guess if the character is dead bullshit with "hey, we kinda shouldve had more screen time with Abe and Sasha all of the sudden relationship". oh and as to why the fuck did no one, the moment that they got freed from the trash people, shoot the trash leader? fucking stupid. everyone shoots at negan yet zero bullets catch his arm/hand while he flips them off, lol.
hmm kinda thinking about it this episode was trash, but people are probably going to praise it because, MUH ACTION!

I did enjoy some of it. The conversation between Rick and Negan and the Eugene character were pretty good. The show has to be at least a little realistic or it gets ridiculous. Not enough of Rick's guys died in the shootouts with the Governor and now it's happening again.
I liked it but holy shit are they predictable. Huge shootout without a single death? I saw that coming. Everyone's got guns to the back of rick's group, and one walker - sasha - somehow totally distracts them and ricks group is able to turn around and counter every single one of the saviors? Bullshit. Negan going to kill Carl and somehow miraculously being saved right before Negan kills him? Saw that coming. Didn't believe it for a second. Lol... and, really, they faked michonnes death? I didn't fallfor that for an instant. Might have been more for rick than the audience but still. At least try to make it believable. Not to mention this episode could have happened 5 episodes ago cause this season has been nothing but filler.
Other than that, the tiger looked really fuckin great. I liked that a lot.

I saw a lot of death, I dont know about you. I dont know why people expect a major character slaughter anyway. Thats not what this show does. The deaths when they happen have to mean something, like Sasha.
Also, the Michonne thing, if I remember correctly, was a remix of a scene with Andrea from the comics. Theyre not trying to fake her death. We have a war to win. None of Team Family is going to die yet.

That wasnt quite correct, and when people make these predictions, they usually end with, "Its going to be so boring!"
Maybe I spend too much time reading comments because I see so much of that kind of thing, I cant help but predict those responses. If I read you wrong, I apologize.
I didn't say the episode would be bad. I predicted correctly how the episode would be. Don't assume I am in it just for the action please, because I'm not.
yeah, and where did they all come from? and if they were there the whole time why did they wait until they took them hostage like twice? why they let them kill or injure their people? lol
Lmao yeah was so pissed about Rick's plot armour I forgot all about Negan's as well. I thought it was him getting munched on by the tiger fo… morer a second. Knew as soon as Sasha attacked Sanctuary she'd be in a Holly type situation. I didnt expect the (idk what they're being called) but the garbage group to turn on Rick.
I loved that Carl took the first shot, and then much like the comic Negan shows alot of interest in carl and honestly hates that he had to kill him. But then like the comic a perfectly timed Shiva attack!
Michonne with the Andrea watch tower scene. Thought that was a good addition "We're the ones who live"
I really enjoyed this episode, was the first time I felt tense in an episode since the premiere. I hope they advertise the new season as "ALL OUT WAR"
Yeah but when was Williams revealed as Sasha and Tyreese's surname? I don't remember it being mentioned in the series at all and only recently since visiting their wiki page it now has Williams after their names where as before it didn't?
Yeah i know but if several main characters died in the shootout, what are fans going to have left to hold onto when several of their favourites die? Yes realistically they wouldn't all get out of it, but this isn't realistic anyway

It just had action? We really weren't watching the same show.

Yeah this season was pretty slow until the last episode. I hope now that they have declared war that it will be non stop action
Remember Heath guys, because I'm beginning to think the writers don't.

Tis but a flesh wound. If Kenny can bounce back, so can he
He was the veggie, sorry VEGTABLE guy. Really cool how they used the same character.
He remembers his other show though.
Holy shit, I legit thought that Carl was gonna die until shiva showed up XD
Tbh... I kinda forgot about him XD isn't he still alive in the comics?
Yes
I was hoping he was going to show up this episode to save Alexandria. Well, there's always next season?
I can't wait until Negan visits Alexandria again...

Have to disagree. That episode had me on the edge of my seat. Really enjoyed it. One of my fav eps ive seen in years
Maybe he'll turn up with the Whisperers? Lol
Sorry u didn't enjoy it. I loved it. Very intense and if it isn't always realistic welll...walking dead isn't realistic anyway lol
I may have missed this but when was Sasha's surname Williams revealed?

This episode was fucking amazing. S8 is going to be amazing I just know it
They are a family. Why shouldnt they reflect that?

All I know is that when shiva came out and pounced on that dude my jaw hit the floor.
yeah, and where did they all come from? and if they were there the whole time why did they wait until they took them hostage like twice? why they let them kill or injure their people? lol
Negan screaming like a bitch & probably shitting his pants when Shiva attacked: Classic!! Good thing he wore his dusty grey ones.

What were SAsha and MAggie looking at in the vision flashback?
