TWD: A New Frontier - AJ actually Talks!!
Hello everyone!
I just wanted to inform all the people who may still think that AJ has a speaking problem. Well.......
He hasn't! Let me confirm this:
When you play the Episode 3 of TWD: A New Frontier and you play as Clementine in her flashback, near the end of it, you get to decide if you'll spit on David's face or you'll say Goodbye to AJ. Well, if you choose to goodbye AJ and you then choose the "I love you" option, when Davids is getting you out of their camp AJ says "Clem..." !!!
AJ Talks: CONFIRMED
Isn't this good news???
Please tell me your thoughts about this and if you don't believe it, go see it for yourself!
For those who already knew this, this thread may seem useless.
Thank you for your time and have a nice day!

I mean, yes... If David isn't lying about him being alive. It'd be pretty sad if AJ only spoke one word before never existing again.
Especially if its Clementine's name.
Let's just hope that David is not a liar, but I don't think he is. He may be, but what profit would he have from lying to Clementine and the others? Maybe he just wanted them to trust him, but again this is not a big deal to lie about such a thing.
The purpose could be to get Clementine and the others to support him in getting Kate back or taking over Richmond.
That would make sense seeing how he's willing to say whatever it takes to get Javier you come back with him. On the other hand it doesn't make sense for David to want clementine to help him after saying how troublesome she is.
I could say that David is a really mysterious character, at this point. So I guess we'll wait and see on the next Episode. (If David was lying for AJ and I get to control Clementine, I may just shoot him right into his face. I can't stand people saying such lies and playing with everyone else's psychology.)
If David lied about AJ, his face might have just made a onetime appointment with Javiers bat
By lying, David gets to see another day. I'm sure if she gets the opportunity and learns in the future that David is lying, she will kill him.
Oh, goody. What wondrous news! I'm sure it'll led to plenty of development in the plot.
Well, I for one think it was nice, since the only plot I am really concerned about this season is AJ and Clementine
Well he could still be partially deaf. It makes sense for a baby who's been around constant gunfire all his life. It might have taken him longer to pick up words, and finally learned to say Clem's name.
it would be cool to see him well and alive, but idk if david was lying or not >_< i'd be so pissed if he lied bout AJ being alive tho.
I actually liked the idea of AJ being possibly deaf, it would have made a cool flashback in Wellington with Clem communicating with him in sign-language. It would have been much more interesting than him saying his first words as 'Clem'. Not saying I hated that it, I just thought AJ being deaf would've been much more powerful.
His voice annoys me, wish the kid woulda stayed silent.
How the hell would Clem know sign language??
There's a plot?
I know it's not exactly likely, I just thought after maybe a few years of gap between S2 to ANF she could've found someone in Wellington who would've known - Like I said, I thought it would've been cool to see..
I agree with that.
I was thinking about the same thing, too...
You have a point. I mean he was scared about all this shit that was happening around him and I guess it took him longer (as you said) to, finally, manage to speak.
Me too. The second I get to choose what to do with him, I'll punch him till he spits blood (I don't really want to kill him, but if there's no other choice, I'll do it).
He is a baby, man. He can't have the best voice in the world, yet. Jesus...
Maybe you don't like babies that much...
I respect your opinion but I believe that it is better for AJ to talk rather than using the sign language. It's just better in my opinion.
AJj talking isn't a surprise. All kids learn to talk, but AJ just really didn't see a reason to. It's all in the psychology of a child; when they feel like they need to speak, or if they speak just because they can. In this case, AJ only speaks when he needs to and, in this case, it was to get Clementine's attention.
Clementine seemed like she had accepted AJ's death and just wanted to know if he suffered. If AJ was actually dead, David could have just left it at that without much consequence. I don't see much reason for him to lie besides saving face, which isn't something that David seems to worry about anyways.
Hmm... Good point.
Yeah, I guess you're right about this.
