AFTER WHAT FELT LIKE YEARS OF SEARCHING, I have finally found a lets play of ANF from someone who has not played/seen season 1 or two of the walking dead and has started playing A New Frontier. A couple of us were looking for a lets play like this a while ago because it's interesting to see what they think of the game style/characters without clementines input.

Lol this reminded me of someone who also played s3 before s1 & 2. They really liked S3 and didnt understand the hate but then played S1 & 2... let's just say they really understood why we were so angry with season 3.
I like how unaware he is. Huh, he even says the game is cool and he had fun playing it. That's so cute... Look, Telltale, you were right, the game does appeal to newcomers.

Well, its not like the game is bad, and I had fun playing it too, its just that, it doesnt live up to expectations that have been set by previous entries
Bravo, Telltale. This is REALLY doing the job. Attracting new players for this season when MOST OF THEM don't even record their gameplay on youtube.

Who the hell has time to record their gameplay on YouTube apart from youtubers? I really don't see the point because you recorded and uploaded the video, but then suddenly you may realise you made a bad choice, but too bad the video is already up. This means any bad choices you made are stuck with you.

Yeah there s sort of a tension whenever you play a telltale game for the first time. I Remember playing season 2 episode 4 With a friend when it was first released and we were Like WTF DO WE DO? when Sarah s 2nd death happened and we had to choose between Asking jane to help her or Pull Jane up. We ended up Pulling up Jane up ((i was dissapointed later on when i replayed it and saw Sarah died anyway if you did not Pull Jane up.))
What I'm saying is that a lot of youtubers who played this game have been fans of The Walking Dead since 2012.
And most of them are liking the new season...I think I know why too. They play what..hundreds...maybe thousands of games? They don't have time to fixate on one and dream up their own vision of how a new season should go.

Wow I've never seen an actual newcomer. I'm glad people who haven't played the others can enjoy this but seeing the very low amount of people like that makes me think telltale did not have to do it this way.

Huh I watched his playthrough and he sided with Clem as well, I guess Telltale really fucked up in trying to make S3 appealing to newcomers
