Was it false advertisement?
Was it false advertisement the picture of Clementine and Javier in a sort of slaughter house with walkers and the trailer with Javi branded tracking down somebody with Clem? Do you think it can still happen?

Perhaps at the end where he will become the leader of The New Frontier. I think David and Kate will die.
Telltale Games almost always have heavy rewrites before and even after release. That slaughterhouse picture has either been written out, or has yet to happen.
It's noncannon like the original teaser.
Not really. They re-edit the storyline before it is released. In the debut trailer for the first season, it shows, most likely Christa shooting herself. But obviously, if you've played it, you know that's not what happens. And if you look close enough, you can find other things like that.
It might not happen but it isn't false advertising.
Sounds like you were referring to the E3 teaser, and yes, it's false advertisement. We got a different game than what they showed and Telltale should be ashamed of themselves for even calling ANF a continuation of the series.
Theeeeen why are you still here if you feel ashamed of telltale?
Where else would he/she complain endlessly and let everyone know about his/her displeasure?
In a thread about the negatives of episode 3
Like the entire season 3 you mean.
Dunno, they next time on's in Tales from the borderlands ALL show content that was never in the game, might have been intentional though.
You would think so.
Yeah, because the forums is totally only for those who like it.
I never said that.
Idk why, but while playing ep3 the same question popped up in my mind as well...
the whole of season 3 is basically false advertising mate
Lmao
The teaser trailer from E3 was confirmed to be non canon a while back.
I do agree that the slaughter house pic is slightly misleading as they make it look like Clementine and Javier could be working together for most of the game which doesn't seem to be happening, a similar scene with Javier and Clementine working together could still happen but i don't expect to see a slaughter house full of walkers.
didnt melisa say they keep rewriting the game?
I am hoping for a choice, something like [Get Branded] or [Leave with Clementine] although it would probably pretty onesided
I think it was false advertising when they gave the impression playtime would be split (relatively) evenly between Javi and Clem
I still hope this happens, big time
No, it's not false advertisement.
Don't pretend like season 1 and 2 didn't have their fair share of "false advertisements."
Well, those "next time on" segments were more of a teaser of things to come rather than an actual scene that would take place in the next episode.
It is unfortunate.
The slaughterhouse would have been a good plot point to explain how they get walkers in the back of their trucks to ambush people. (ANF EP2 -- Prescott raid.)
This whole game is one big false advertisment
I do believe telltale at the last moment rewrote the entire installment for whatever reason.
you call ANF a shameful continuation, yet have ANF as your avatar.
Hmm, really now. something doesn't add up.
Well it kinda is shameful tbf. In my opinion it is anyway
Duuuuuuude
Wait for the rest of the episodes to come out.
Nah.
She said they don't have the main plot.
