Come back with Rick and the other comic heroes and bring down Richmond because of them raiding stuff from The Kingdom?
That would be great for the game because looking ahead right now, I can't see where else it could go other than killing everyone off and leaving Clementine on her own again LOL.

Yeah actually I was considering making a thread on this.
I doubt Telltale would put Jesus of all people in a over-glorified cameo without paying it off. The 'you have my word' line solidified that for me. I think a civil war is going to break among the New Frontier and at the end, maybe when Javier is about to be executed we get the Alexandria-Kingdom-Hilltop alliance just coming in. It be pretty awesome actually. Javier becomes new leader after David (presumably) dies, yada yada yada roll credits.
Ugh... I hope not. I really don't want to see the comic cast just roll on in and hijack the story.

Plz no, It's great that they sometimes add about one character from the TWD comics, but they should stay with the focus on their own characters, so they get their development.
Well I think it would be GREAT to see more major comic characters in the game and it's not like it wouldn't make any sense or anything because Richmond stole stuff from them and Jesus thinks they killed 'his' people. No way would someone like Rick let them get away with that.
Imagine seeing Clementine with the comic group, that would be the best!
As awesome as it would be to see more comic characters, Jesus coming back after not really doing much except being a helping hand and no character arc would do the story no good imo. It seems Telltale can't really handle comic characters, besides making them look cool. Honestly Jesus wasn't really necessary to the story except telling us about the railroad path to Richmond.
I thought the exact same thing, and I would be all for seeing Rick in a Walking Dead game. They really need to make a game based off the main characters of the series. If they don't show up now, maybe they can do a game based on them for season 4?
How about like the end of Akira. Where the Army rolls up ready to save the day, and everyone in Neo Tokyo is like no thanks we got this shit handled.

That's what I meant by helping hand. Saving Gabe's life and fighting(as awesome as it was) could have been done by any other character.

I am not sure about Rick from the comics, but I am pretty sure about Jesus will return with the comic group of Magna since they are from Richmond to free the town from the New Frontier bandits.
I've kinda wanted to see Rick in a telltale game for a while. So I'd be all for that.

It means EXACTLY that it doesn't happen during or after The Whisperers and it DOES MEAN that it happens before. What you said made no sense.

You know, the kingdom cannot get completely destroyed in the game but still be standing in the comics if they are in the same universe. That means that the game takes place AFTER the comics. Yaaaaaaaa. Now you're fucking lucky that this iPad won't let me upload pictures onto this website or you'll get 100% proven wrong in front of everybody.

So you're saying the game plays after the comics altogether?
Because if I compare the timelines, and the game plays in the same universe as the comics do, what you say doesn't add up then. Or maybe I miss a key point here.
I'm so hostile cos I am so god damn frustrated that nobody knows what I am talking about -.- If you read the latest version of the comics, the kingdom is still around, Ezekiel isn't because the whisperer so killed him. But in ANF, Jesus says that the new frontier raided the kingdom, and you know they kill everyone there. So this means that the kingdom is now new frontier, so if the new frontier aren't in the comics, and they are in the same universe, that means that the events of a new frontier are AFTER the events from the comics.
If that is the case, that'd be a major oversight, and should be explained.
Maybe TNF didn't raid The Kingdom like they did Prescott, but just stole stuff, or attacked and got some stuff but The Kingdom didn't get destroyed, I dunno.

I kinda get very territorial when I know I'm right and I have to explain everything to everyone else, where most of those people believe they're right. It's probably because I grew up with that. But they had a lot of spoils from the kingdom, I doubt the kingdom would just willingly hand over a huge amount of items since they had to guts to fight against the saviours and they would have had the alexandrians and hilltop backing them up. The attack would have been quick and would have taken place as soon as they first made contact.
