Question about TWD universe

Since the game and the comics are set in the same universe, are the events of the game determinant in the comic universe? For example,if Conrad is shot in ANF,is he alive in the comic universe? He can be alive or dead depending on our choices,so what happens in the comics is different for every player.

  • I'd imagine they would be, although they can get away with it since there's almost no way in hell the game will cross over fully into the comic book besides a couple of cameos - Hershel, Glenn, Jesus, etc.

  • What happens in the Telltale sphere of The Walking Dead universe is up to the specific player. So yeah, everyone has a unique comic universe. Telltale characters will likely stay far away from the comics so Kirkman likely won't ever have to canonize certain choices over others.

  • Game doesn't affect the comics at all. Comic book doesn't mention anything related to the game.

  • It doesn't mention it, but he's saying how the game takes place in the same universe as the comic book technically that means that everybody has a different comic universe where Conrad is dead if that's what they chose or alive if they decided to go with the plan and the same goes with every other choice.
