  • Season one as great it is, it took longer to play because of useless hubs.

Pathetic isn't it? Especially when you compare this to Season 1

  • I feel like that was said while the Season was still in pre-production, and the script was much different than it is now... That was early last year, wasn't it? The game is still pretty different from the E3 teaser they showed us, too. So.... it was big and mighty, but then changes were made and the season was rushed and [supposedly] pushed too hard by the execs than it should have.

  • "This is the biggest season ever!"

  • "Clementine is a playable main character!"
"Episode 1 was too big so we had to split it into two!"

  • So you want the game to be quicker? The hubs to me certainly weren't pointless. We got to look at various items and Lee would often say amusing remarks like "i'd fill one of those teacups with some bourbon if i could", it didn't matter as such but it brought fun to the game in my opinion. I also think some hubs were important because depending on what Lee looked at, he would bring it up in a random conversation with someone and add more to the story depending what said hub was.

It wasn't the hubs that made the game longer though, its the fact we actually got given a "game" and not just sitting through 90% of cutscenes and choosing pointless dialogue that probably won't matter in episodes to come.

  • I don't know why it's so hard for Telltale just to admit they fucked up.

They've clearly seen the reception to the game, unless they avoid the internet like the plague and I know that's obviously not the case.

I just wish every time they pop up they wouldn't act oblivious to it or pull a Sean Murray in the sense of pretending it's the best thing they've made and it's all great and wonderful and there's a valid reason for every crappy decision they've pulled this season minus laziness. I'd respect them a lot more honestly, if they'd just admit it and try to do better next time.
