Am I one of the only people who actually likes Conrad

  • Conrad in ep 3 made me like much better from the last 2 becuase not every broken man can find vengeance and that's what my boi condamn did ;)

  • Trust me...Conrad will remain dead

  • I thought it was funny that his excuse was that in the train that man "wasn't him". Yeah, it's almost like someone was controlling what he would do with bad writing that didn't recognize his potential. He's doing better now though, he's a homie again.

  • I'm so glad that he's alive in my game. He's that kind of a character I'd totally be friends with. Also finally we have a well-handled determinant character!

  • I dont dislike him, i just dont care about him. Oh look a guy lost his wife in Walking dead universe, what a big deal! nothing that we haven't seen thousand times before. You gotta up ur stakes telltale and give us more if u want us to care about characters.

  • .>guy is pointing a gun at your nephews head
    .>doesn't have to kill him

    omg

I don't kill if I don't have to. Which is why I didn't. And it paid off.

While his actual arc isn't that interesting, he did redeem himself in episode 3, even if the transition from "you asshole, you got my wife killed" to "we're good, man, that wasn't me back there" was a bit inconsistent. Unless allowing his plan to take Clementine to the gates of the NF was supposed to be the bridge between that development, which is a little silly, but whatever.

Mostly, I was just glad Telltale actually did something with his character in the third episode. Nothing major to write home about, but still better than what Nick got after AHD.

    Edit: Stupid comment thing.

  • I don't dislike Conrad, but he got reckless in the tunnel and took Gabe hostage. I wasn't having that so I shot him. It was only personal b/c he threatened Javi's nephew.

  • He still has more character development that all of the other determinant characters in season 2 (Not counting Kenny)

  • Probably my favorite new character, too bad he's double determined so he has a 100% chance of dying in episode 4, oh well he had a good run while it lasted.

  • That's because Kenny only because determinant at the end of the game.

I shot him. The reason behind it was that I told Francine his poker hand was a bluff. It wasn't. I didn't want him to tell anyone.

  • I really regret shooting him in my main save file after watching a don't shoot play through on YouTube he seems like a really good determinant character.

  • They had a camp game where we pretend there is a murderer and every turn the detective gets to choose who they think was the murderer since a person dies every turn. I laughed at how the storyteller described the death of the last person and someone got suspicious but the detective wasn't so I killed him the next turn

  • Yeah, I killed him initially since I thought everyone would save him since Ben, Nick, Sarah, Zachary (Not Alvin since it was harder to save him in some playthroughs if you went with Kenny) were the majority in the saving them initially options and wanted to be different but ended up in the 90% side

To be fair, all of them were vulnerable and sympathetic young characters who dealt with a share of unfair shit, while Conrad was impulsive old guy(and parent(?)) holding a gun to a kid's head to convince his uncle to sell another kid up the river. As dickish/selfish as Kenny/Jane was, he/she never actually tried to directly kill Ben/Sarah him/her-self.
