Will we see anymore undead cast members?

I was just thinking that we hardly see any of the main characters as walkers, even though a lot of people we have met have died without being put down properly. The only distinguishable walkers I can recall are Nick and Rebecca from season 2. Do you think we will see anyone turn this season or not? Also, can you name someone who might have turned but we just never saw them?

Off the top of my head I can think of Luke. He probably turned into a walker since he drowned and had his brain intact. Maybe even Kenny in ANF since he was eaten alive, he would come back after a while if the walkers didn't eat his brain. Let me know your thoughts

  • I wouldn't mind seeing Mike, Bonnie, or Arvo as walkers...

Bleh. If there's one thing this series did, it's made the idea of seeing characters as walkers as unappealing as possible since you not only know most of them but there's also that thing where people seem to hate the thought of their body getting back up after they've left it because it's beyond their comprehension, I guess. And while I do like the bizarre idea of killing someone's walker to honor the living person's memory or simply show that a character has some form of mercy/standards, it also feels like a factory for loose ends since dead and deader are really only separated by whether the body turned in the first place. Like a few other things, it's a concept that's since lost it's presumed luster(assuming you even cared for it in the first place) and carries no real purpose beyond getting a reaction out of you; Nick and Rebecca only worked well in from that standpoint because there was a clear sense of uncertainty and higher stakes involved on top of them being people you got to know. Honestly, I don't see any real reason for ANF to have that other than "Ooh, look! "Tripp" is totally not your friend anymore cause he wants to eat you now. Guess that means your chordae tendineae are totally being tugged and you have to destroy what looks like your friend if you want to live."

  • Clementine's parents were walkers.

  • I always thought we'd see Carlos as a walker later on S2.

  • I came up with a list of possible walkers. Some may be determinant:

    • Carley/Doug if they died in the pharmacy in S1E1
    • Mark in S1E2
    • Duck if left in the woods in S1E3
    • Brie in S1E4
    • Ben if dropped in the bell tower in S1E4
    • The Stranger if not shot in S1E5
    • Clementines parents in S1E5
    • Lee if not shot in S1E5
    • Omid since we never see Christa shoot him in the head although I am sure she did shoot him in S2E1
    • Pete if left at the side of the river in S2E1
    • Mathew since he was shot in the neck and probably washed ashore dead or something in S2E2
    • Nick if he dies in S2E2
    • Reggie since he was pushed off the roof in S2E3
    • Alvin since he was shot in the chest in S2E3
    • Sarita if you cut her hand off and don't put her down in S2E4
    • Nick in S2E4
    • Sarah in S2E4
    • Rebecca in S2E4
    • Luke for the reason mentioned above in S2E5
    • Kenny if shot to save Jane. Clementine never puts him down after he dies in S2E5
    • Jane if left to die. Clementine never puts her down in S2E5
    • Kenny was devoured after the car accident so he might have come back in S3E1
    • Jane hung herself and turned in S3E1

These are the few I remember off the top of my head. I may be missing some but as you can see there are a lot of important characters that may have turned. We just never seen them. I think it would be emotional if Javi had to put down walker Kate or David. I doubt that would happen though

  • Yeah, I always thought it was kinda odd that he, Troy, and determinantly Sarita didn't show up for the Observation Deck Defense.

I'd love to see Clementine as a walker (non-canon of course, just for fun).
In S1E3 we see Clementine as a walker in Lee's dreams, but I want to see current Clem as a walker as well. :p

  • I have a question. If you choose to leave Badger, do you see him as a walker later or is it just assumed he turns? Everyone I see play kills him. I don't think many people left him to turn.

  • I left him to turn and didn't see him again. If he did die it took some time and he probably reanimated in that building, so he's probably bashing his head against the walls or something.

  • That's good to know lol. Why did you chose not to kill him by the way?

  • I didn't kill him, his guts were coming out, he'd die a slow death so I am not going to get it over with since he didn't deserve a quick death

Death equals mercy and Badger didn't deserve that.

  • I thought it only counts as mercy if its quick and painless lol
