A lobotomy would be more preferable that having them two date.
I just hope it's not forced
Yeah, sorta want the character gabe to be cooler and braver bc it would look silly if they r dating and clemmy is always the cooker and braver one
I like the friendship they have but I really hope they don't become an item.
They are both only like what? 13-14 years old? Like sure relationships can start at that age but I feel like its way too early for them at this current stage.
Will I hate it if they write it in? No. Not at all. It would be nice for Clem to be with someone eventually but these last two episodes feel like they are going to be more focused on family issues and setting up for potential war within Richmond.
This coming from me who wrote a Carl x Clem fanfiction HAHAHAHA
I want it to be determinant so people who want Gabentine will get what they want and people who don't will also get what they want
no
Gabe isn't interesting in the slightest, if anything it should be a choice
I wouldn't mind it at all.
If it's an option, I'll avoid it, and I'd prefer for it not to be an option in this Season. Both Gabe and Clem need more time to develop as people before they venture into relationships. Right now, they're both broken. For Clem - it's trust. Without the ability to trust, there is absolutely no foundation that can be built in a relationship that will not end in disaster for all parties involved. Gabe lacks confidence, feels lost as a person, and is suffering from a family divided. There is just no circumstance where the pairing of the two is good for either of them. This might change in another season. It depends on how they progress through the remainder of this one.
I don't think Gabe is a priority to Clem but she does feel like she wants to feel those few moments of what it feels like talking to a normal human being her age for once that's the impression I'm getting. It's not like she's fangirling over him. Gabe also doesn't seem to be bleeding his heart out for her either there are bigger matters to attend to of course. I think he's just glad there's someone to talk to that isn't his sister and well for his sister she's not around anymore.
I think there's going to be an episode when Gabe and Clem will end up alone from the rest of the group and they have to get through zombies and bad guys together and there will be a random moment where they escape a dangerous situation and they suddenly kiss out of the blue kind of like how that girl from The Last of Us suddenly kissed that other girl they laugh it off nervously and any kind of relationship you would have seen would of just been from that kiss.
And then Gabe dies XD
sexist.
I hope it's non-determinant so everyone would freak out.
I'll slice his pouty little lips off if that happens
Not trying to be but we don't want to see gabe as being helpless all the time
Lmao! I totally ship Carl and Clem!
I change my mind about the determinant thing, I want it to happen
If I had a 13 year old daughter or sister and someone asked me if they thought that little Cuban-American kid was gonna be her lover I would probably break their friggin' legs.
Just sayin'
What does it have to be with Gabe being Cuban-American...? In any case he's a dickshit, but your argument is racist.
Oh hell no!
Clem can do way better than that! And I don't even dislike Gabe
I'm sorry but, how is what he said racist?
Jesus dude, I was just using the term Cuban-American as a way to describe who he was.
That's like saying in a crowd of white people and you have to point out a particular person in the crowd to someone. If the guy you're pointing out is black, you're gonna say, "The black/African-American guy".
I'm not a racist, I've never been a racist, I don't dislike him because he's Cuban-American, I simply used that phrase as the most adequate way to describe him at first glance to someone who doesn't know him.
So please, don't twist this around to make me seem like an asshole, you know full well why I would be angry in the situation which I described in my initial comment, I would be angry by the fact she was 13, my possible sister or daughter and some stranger used the term "potential lover" to describe a kid she barely knows.
Triggered much, he didn't use his race in a derogatory manner, he was just being descriptive.
How is someone's ethnicity the best way of describe them? How is any physical trait of a character you know "the best way to describe them"?
Ugh, whatever. I don't want to fight anyways.
I don't see it happening for several reasons:
1. Clem has lost too much to allow herself to get that close to someone
2. Gabe isn't ready to handle anyone like Clementine
3. Everyone isn't a fan of Gabe
4. It'll seem out of character for Clem to date someone like Gabe
5. Clem will be annoyed with him from his whining and not to mention she hates his Dad while he looks up to him.
6. It'll he forced
If we're talking about any love interest for Clem, it'll have to be Carl. Both of their personalities are very similar and I can see them getting along pretty quickly if they ever met.
Well pal, I'd say the best way to describe someone you don't know is by describing how they look and their physicality. Attempting to describe someone you don't know at all in any other way is nothing more than moronic.
Yeah, that's because you know you made a mistake in your criticisms, realised I am correct in my counter argument and now don't want to continue the argument because you know you wouldn't be able to defend your point any longer.
You see, most mature people in your situation would apologise and admit when they wrongfully called someone a racist.
Fine. k?
Yep. Totally.
Telltale doesn't seem interested in 'Gabentine' relationship and we have only two episodes left so...
I definitely agree! Carl and Clem would be perfect together but too bad that won't ever happen
I'd prefer her as asexual and platonic relationships only. It's too out of character for her to date
Same here. Right now, I think the only things she really cares about anymore are her and AJ's survival.
What's with the fuckloads of Clem threads all of a sudden? Holy shit
Hopefully it depends on our choices. I think the plot won't allow time for it without it feeling forced.
Clementine's got too much on her head to be looking for love.
No. Just... just NO
Not trying to start shit but I kinda see where he's coming from. You never see people say hey, you see that crowd of white people over there? It's always hey, you see that crowd of people over there? Just saying.
NO! Forget! Gabe is a kid. Our Clem needs adult friend, mature one.
I hope that if/when a relationship is approached, it's done well. There's a lot still to resolve this season, and not a whole lot of time left. Personally, the writers need an entire fresh season to explore what 'dating' meant in this new world with characters who were children when the old world ended. Especially in a situation where there are no older teens to set an example, and in Clem's case no real parental direction. While I do doubt the writers would do much to explore it in the long run, it would make for an interesting and creative opportunity to approach it considering the last romance Clem is likely to have seen would've been Disney films.
