Javi x Kate sucks
so...
I keep pushing Kate away : No Kate, I don't want your pot, your attention or to run away with you!
But she doesn't seem to notice that I fuckin' hate her and she's not my problem, she has a husband!
On the other hand, I think Eleanor rocks + she is a medic, so the idea of Tripp telling her how he's been feeling doesn't thrill me (though I feel like Eleanor will not hop into his arms)
Am I the only one who thinks Javi x Eleanor would be great?
what do you guys think 'bout this?

I think I flirted with Eleanor, but I'll probably leave that alone because of another character. Kate needs to GTFO though, go ask David to take you to Sweden or wherever.
Hey guys, it's not the 50's anymore. She's not david's property.
Cool beans, that doesn't mean she has to be my problem though. She can take herself to Sweden lol
I agree... I wish there didn't have to be a romance option or if there has to be Javier should be gay or bi. ;v;
My Javi x Badger bromance opportunity has been squandered!
I'm kidding.
Meh tripp x javi is way cooler
I personally ship Javi x Kate.
I agree but somehow Kate keeps trying to get Javi's dick which is very annoying.
Personally, I think everyone's blowin this shipping biz out of proportion, but what else is new? I'm just hoping she and Eleanor get some much needed screentime and development next episode since Team Sidekick is 45% plain at the moment.
I ship Kate and Eleanor....LOL yes these ship fights are pretty stupid. I am ok with Javi and Kate....though if it had been myself who wrote this season....they would have been an item from the first scene where they were watching the herd hitting their old camp. All this pussy footing around just as a story is kicking off is BS...4 years and only now are they getting around to it?
p.s. on a scale of 1-10.....how rank was that van after 4 years??
Exactly. That doesn't mean she can jump ship to Javier if he doesn't want it.
How is everyone blowing it out of Proportion? Telltale keeps trying to push this love angle even if the player don't want it.
Well then just keep blowing her off...it is like real life...I had a couple of guys like Kate following me around during high school and beyond. It is part of life...deal with it. Personally I like Kate. 4 years after the outbreak...she is not married any more.
That's the thing is even if you reject her the game keeps pushing the romance between Javier and Kate regardless.
Eh. Clickbaits.
Hence me saying everyone--Telltale included.
And I point out that is realistic...certainly was in my case.
It worked...you clicked....hmmm we are all conditioned to click.
I personally don't have a problem with Javier/Kate, she obviously doesn't want to be with David anymore and you can't exactly get divorced anymore.
I still feel like they are pushing for it because they don't want people shipping Clem with Javier, like people were doing with Luke last time.
Yeah, but it's not fun and feels like my choices don't matter when no matter what I say or do, EVERYONE is under the impression that I have feelings for her, but I'm hiding it.
Gotta have Sexual Tension and Romantic Drama somehow, right? Even if it's actually pretty downplayed and schizophrenic as time goes on, all things considered.
Probably a 5. That thing had to smell after 4 years if Gabe's comment is any indication.
What can you do...I think people are complaining just to complain myself.
Yes, yes it does. At this point I only hope Kate is determinant. More screen time for Eleanor, as well as the option to flirt with her again, would be much appreciated. But unfortunately, it seems like she's just another Sarita in that her character is basically an accessory to Tripp and will most likely be killed off in the next episode for the sake of angst. I really hope this isn't the case but with Tripp being all "I'm gonna tell her how I feel" I'm not optimistic about our chances. Then again, the romance drama is stupid to begin with.
If they added an optional romance then that would've been fine, but not when a romance is forced and the main conflict is probably gonna revolve around something that I wanted no part of in the first place.
I cannot wait until ep 5....I have a whole list of likes and dislikes about this season...but I am waiting until the end before I review it.
I'm not a fan of this romance and I do everything I can to reject any notion of a romantic relationship towards Kate. I don't think it's a good idea to fuck around with my brother's girl before and after he was presumably "dead". And I just don't like Kate as a character. Not really my type and she's just kinda dumb/a damsel in distress from what the game has given us, the next episode may prove otherwise though. However it is possible that Javier and Kate did screw around during the time skip (at the start of the ZA) which would explain why TT keeps pushing this, it's been already established.
Double post.
No.
Hmmm yes I did see signs of that Javi x Clem ship....glad it hit an iceberg and sank with all hands.
Eleanor and Javi >>>>>>>>>>
Sorry Tripp, but I will fight for my ship.
Can we please have the options [Kiss Eleanor] and [ Kiss Kate] at the same time? Oh boy, it would be so fucking awesome lmao
So kill off characters people ship with clementine and create unnecessary love interest to divert away? That's nice.
This all seems very oddly familiar...
More like create unnecessary "love triangle," but still.
I'm just gonna look at this beautiful screenshot and ignore whatever it is you're implying
Javier X Jesus? That'd be cool
I think it'd be cooler if Telltale made options on Javi flirting with different characters. But then again it's telltale...
I guess it will happen regardless, though I would do everything to stop this forced relationship from seeing the light of day.
I'm not comfortable with any romantic notions towards Kate. I don't trust her, nor do I respect her. If she doesn't want to be with David, I'm fine with that. She has more than one opportunity to simply tell David how she feels. This was obviously a break up long in the making since she flirts with Javier before the outbreak even starts. I have a strong distaste towards her wanting to run off with his son shortly after their reunion. Unless a man has been abusive towards his children, I can't see any justification in denying him from being in their lives.
David is no angel in this picture. He has anger issues. Kate finds him to be emotionally abusive. For whatever plot reason, he never tries to go back to the house for his family. City was overrun at that point. He assumed they were dead or if they were alive got out. By the sound of it, he saw some serious shit with Ava, and nearly didn't make it out himself since he would've been in a highly populated area where there would be a lot more undead all at once.
With the flaws of their characters, it's great that you can feel strongly either way. Frankly, I think a fun twist to the whole situation would be David breaking it off with Kate because he'd built something with Ava in the four years he thought she might be dead.
I'm going to say this again since people keep saying it, it's not easy to break off a relationship if the person scares you and is abusive.
Kate obviously is frighten by David, which is why she most likely hasn't said anything about about ending their marriage.
Yeah, I'd be really upset if they force it on us again in episode 4. As for Eleanor, I do wish they would of went on with her relationship with Javi for people who want that, but it seems they have dropped it for Tripp. Idk, maybe Telltale will surprise us though.
