  • What bugs me about Eleanor is that her home got raided by TNf; she drives a car that has a TNF sign on it; There's a huge sign of TNF at the gate and despite all of that she says that she didn't know that they were The New Frontier when they are all in quarantine. Just...how? You gotta try to not notice that.

What the fuck?! I've never noticed that before! That's a random ass detail to include.

Duh, the car came from a new frontier driver/attacker who was shot by Javier in Prescott.
After this shooting Eleanor and Kate took this car and fled in Episode 2.

Having Eleanor become the traitor or being affiliated with A New Frontier in some way not only feels too predictable, it also feels a little cheap.

It just seems way too convenient that Eleanor would just so happens to be a part of ANF, especially when she has so little development in the story, her being the traitor is likely to lose the impact the writers will try to create because the audience likely wouldn't care enough to feel betrayed by a woman we barely know.

As I had mentioned in another topic, I would rather see her character development involves how her willingness to help strangers and her overall kind demeanour ends up causing her own downfall, as her friends starts to suspect or accuse her of being a 'wolf's in sheep's clothing' over unfortunate circumstances or coincidences that makes Eleanor appear suspicious.

  • And that's why I shoulda watched the whole scene. Thanks for clearing that up.-

  • Yeah, that was my thought when so many people expected that in Above the Law. Not only is it too late for them to even consider pulling that, but honestly that whole "there are two chicks who can get with the same guy, so clearly one is bad" thing is dumb and sexist.

  • PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE

BRUHH I SWEAR TO GOD! pls don't let this be true

  • Also can people stop assuming she's related to Joan. Not all Asian people are related. I remember people doing this with Glenn, Matthew, and Vince. It's annoying.

I never understood why everyone think all asians are related... there are a lot and last time I checked people weren't suposed to have more than one child... that means no cousins, aunts or uncles...

I feel like she's going to end up like Sarita, underdeveloped Asian woman, dies for the sake of a white guy, and gets a brutal death. Like

  • Sarita was Indian--with a Spanish name, but Indian nonetheless.

  • True. Just like how Arvo is Russian with a Finnish name.

  • Actually Sarita is an Indian name as well.

  • She did not leave Kate to die. She was looking for help!
    And they locked her.

More likely shes with the new frontier, remember she drives off alone, leaves Kate to die, then gets reunited with the player in the prison

  • Aye, thats the story I would tell if I was a traitor too.

  • Doesn't make any sense since she left Prescott with the Garcia's risking her life.
Otherwise she would have left with Max and Badger.
David and Lingard didn't know her.

  • I don't see how Eleanor could be with the new frontier. Surely one of them would have recognised her by now.

We have another doctor who's getting high off meds all the time, I'm far more concerned about that.

Perhaps Eleanor and Clem had some history in the new frontier? Why did Clem just be quiet about this? And the theory Eleanor and Joan are related might be true. But still strange because David and Lingard should know her.

  • Not because she is Asian.
She just look similar. The nose for example.

What do I even say about this anymore?

(Any responses to this should be spoilered or held off until tomorrow)

  • Bonnie 2.0 aka backstabbing bitch.
I guess Clem got the Bonnie vibes with Eleanor. This is why Clem distrusted Eleanor much. An opportunistic fake friendly 2 faced bitch.

  • She didn't seem to be doing it happily. It may have been an attempt to resolve things peacefully. Ultimately that didn't work.

  • She probably did this to safe her own guts. No matter she got Javi and Tripp killed after her cowardly actions.
I am happy I got Tripp and not Ava killed and see her suffer for what she did.

I'm disappointed that she had chose to betray Javier and had proven Clementine right of her suspicions of her.

Not because I felt personally betrayed by her choice to sell out Javier, but because it just feels lazy to have Eleanor to be the one to sell out Javier regardless of whether he had shot Conrad or not. Besides betraying Javier, she literally had no other character to her.

I would have been happier if Eleanor was a red herring, and that Clementine ends up being proven wrong in the end.

  • I doubt it was for selfish reasons, Eleanor has been a big help since day one. After all Kate would be dead if not for her. She even puts her own life and her reputation with Tripp in peril in episode 1 to help Javi and his family

  • Agreed, I'm so disappointed in how they've handled Eleanor. She basically has no actual character.

  • Or she was just frightened.
