that's not her last name, mate. fans just named her marsh after the marsh hotel where her parents were staying for fanfics, headcanons etc. because it hasn't been canonized on what her last name is yet.

Ohhhh, well thanks for the info then. On the German wiki she is called Clementine Marsh so I thought It would be her last name. But the German fan wiki is pretty shitty I suppose.

I think that rumour come from season 1 episode 1 where Lee can look at a note on the fridge in Clementine's house and says "The Marsh house, that looks like a Savannah area code" or something similar, i think some people misheard and thought that was the familys last name.
