Episode 4 was supposed to be released tomorrow and yet everybody is talking about it like it's out...
Also, another thing I'm confused about; everyone seems to hate ANF and yet they still play it/watch people play it. That's a bit odd.

EP3 got leaked thanks to Microsoft messing up.
And I think EP4 got leaked because some Youtubers released their videos early (don't quote me on that).

I don't like ANF, but I still play/watch it to see if they changed anything good to characters and (my personal opinion) to see if they actually do Gabe/Clem pairing. I hope they don't.
Well, I mean, I did hate the first two episodes. But I thought the third episode, where the actual story started to kick into gear a bit, was much better. It wasn't brilliant, and I do still believe this series is poor compared to the first, but I enjoyed it and am somewhat curious to see where the story goes.
To an extent, I suppose I keep playing as well due to a sense of loyalty with the series. I didn't like much of the episodes in season 2, but I still played through the entire season, so that I could experience it as a whole and determine what my final opinion was on it.
Some people bought the season pass, a vast majority have been following the game since season 1. Not sure why you're confused that people hope it ends better than the terrible way it started.

Yeah, I've seen some episode 4 videos, and that's when I came to the forums to see the release date, and then I see it's tomorrow but everyone is talking about it already.
