Mcaroll Ranch To Be The Slaughterhouse? (Possible Episode 5 Spoilers)
Episode 4 spoilers
In episode 4 if you choose to kill Lingard he tells you AJ is located at the Mcaroll Ranch.
There are a lot of existing files in episode 4 name slaughterhouse, here are some examples:
There is also this concept art that was revealed a couple months ago but has not appeared in the game - yet.
Ever since this screenshot released last year in June everyone has thought the slaughterhouse was scrapped which is disappointing because it seems to be extremely interesting...
I am really hoping this ranch turns out to be the slaughterhouse.

Oh god, I hope not. Although the slaughter house does seem pretty interesting.
If this is true, then Lingard really was full of bullshit when he said "He's in a better place now"
...
Wait a minute... He doesn't mean he's dead, does he!? Were those his exact words?
I tried to look it up online but are ranches usually associated with a slaughterhouse within the vicinity? (I've never done much farm research)
If so, something tells me the final sequence might be about searching for AJ there. But the possible addition of the slaughterhouse being there might make a dreadful revelation with the original intended use the building had.
EDIT: (!) Tobi has noticed your silence and takes that as a yes.
He said something like "He's better now than he's ever been"
Ohh, okay.
So Ranch is like farm
Who the hell take care of AJ when daivd wasn't here
That's my question, is he there alone?
Maybe AJ is dead and Lingard is referring to a belly of some cannibal or walker.
AJ's been chilling over there, running the place on his own.
He could be since Lingard said he was better off there but he was high as hell when he said it. I think there's a 50/50 chance he's alive. Although, it'll be pretty stupid to kill AJ offscreen considering how he was a major plot in Season Two and New Frontier.
Hopefully.
It was also pretty stupid to kill Kenny/Jane/Edith in a flashback so I'd say there's no limit to stupidity in ANF.
It was also stupid to replace Clementine with Javier so I agree.
St Johns 2.0
This would be a really great finale if the herd issue isn't rushed through. Possibly a minor time jump.
Maybe someone comes back from season 2 or 1 ? lol
Alrighty, so I after today noticed something... Whenever someone asks them a question about the slaughter house staff always, and I mean always ignores it. They mentioned how they changed a death scene of a character (presumably Max) and how it was scrapped so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to talk about the slaughterhouse. Makes me think it actually will appear in the next episode.
Did you ask them in the AMA? I'd look in there myself but there's a bunch tp sort through :P
Perhaps we won't find AJ this Season.
This may be a big cliffhanger in the end of episode 5.
What a bunch of sneaky snakes Thanks for sharing it, this makes it easier.
Yeah, that's my bet as well
Why am I getting Resident Evil 7 flashbacks?
Because you play too much Resident Evil 7, man.
Ooops, nope, I meant to ask, why am I getting Saw flashbacks?
BRING ON THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE
Honestly, Lingard was so suicidal that I wouldn't be surprised if when he said "AJ is better than he ever was", he's talking about AJ being dead. It would be difficult to understand why he says AJ is better off at some place with a walker slaughterhouse, but I want to believe that this epic Javi-Clem team up scene in the slaughterhouse could still happen
A better cliffhanger would be Clem betrays the group at the middle of the night and steals a whole bunch of supplies and guns to leave Richmond with AJ. And because Gabe has a crush on Clem, refuses to believe that Clem betrays them. Later that day, Gabe sneaks off and takes one of the cars to find Clem. Javi goes into the room that Gabe sleeps in goes outside to look for him. And he notices that more food is missing and the car.
The Season concludes with Javi saying: Gabe!!(echo) or "You ungrateful little shit!!!"(echo)
Season 4 can be about David and Javi conflict between Kate , reconstructing Richmond, creating networks, and finding Gabe.
One big question I have is, will Telltale be able to bring the same excitement from episode 5 of season one (No time remains) to episode 5 of season three?
Oh Christ, I forgot all about the Slaughterhouse.
Well, AJ, it was nice knowing you. -_-
Omg. AJ is a walker in the slaughterhouse???
I am done with telltale if this is the case.
Very sick.
Funnily enough that's what I thought about... Who's taking care of AJ there?
Maybe it'll be in the finale which would make whoever's running the ranch the main villian for the next season....to be honest I'm not sure IF I want a season 4. Characters this season have dull, Clem has been a bit uncharacteristic but still good in Episode 4.
