After reading all the hate Gabe is receiving, I think it's best for Telltale to just kill him. Obviously so many people hate him (I just dis… morelike him), not to mention the teasing of a relationship between him and Clem (which I also dislike).
The simplest way I can see him dying is either taking a bullet for Clementine if you stopped him from following David or being killed by Joan or Clint if you let him follow his Dad to chase them.

But if shoot Conrad, you can tell by looking at Gabe's face knowing that he wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do. And I think Tripp deserved to know the truth as well. But it didn't make sense for Gabe to just randomly say that Javier shot Conrad knowing Tripp's presence. But if you don't shoot Conrad and accept his plan Gabe complains to Javier not knowing how it turns out later on. But I don't blame Gabe for how he acts. When you are captured by Carver, Clem can chose to run though Carver's heavy armed group to try to save Alvin's life. What is she going to accomplish by doing that? Why would anyone do that for any stranger?
She does this again when Carver beating Kenny, but makes a little more sense. Kenny's cool
Killing Eli:
She kills a Man just to prove that the bullets are fake. Then, asks Javi to lie about it. Also, I feel that the whole situation was treated like: " oh, Clem you shot a man. That's it! you need to take a time out." She gets away with murder.
Killing Lingard:
Lingard is supposed to be one of Clem's closest friends. Why doesn't she hesitate about killing him? She pretty much kills him just to MIGHT get the location of A.J.. And gets upset if you choose not to murder him. That's just being a sadistic teenager Clem.
Her disrespect towards Christa:
Clem you ungrateful brat. Lee's cool but what about Christa: the women who looks after her for two years? But the only person she thanks is Lee and Kenny. Where is the urgency to find Christa? She searches for her for one day; one day. And never mentions her as if Christa was neglectful to her. This is a level of ungratefulness that Gabe can't reach.
