When Tripp said "Make the right choice, Javi," I assumed that he was telling us to save Ava instead. So, as much as I preferred him as a person, I chose Ava. Apparently, I was wrong, and he ended up freaking out on me. Like, shit, I know that this is a Telltale game, but if he really wanted me to save him he should've just said so instead of dropping a cryptic hint.

  • I guess, but Javi isn't directly responsible for Conrad's death at that point. I guess...

Doesn't Tripp get upset if he doesn't give him the gun and takes it from Javi if he let's the timer run out?

  • I was with you until you got the last sentence.

After Ava there was no time to be angry. A war broke out and to survive he knew he gonna need Javi. He should finally grateful Javi chose Ava. This saved Tripps life. Tripp is just a level headed person.

As pissed as he probably is, I think Tripp's smart enough to realize that working together is probably the best option he has at the moment. Richmond square just turned into a giant free for all, and letting Javi die/shooting him in the back wouldn't exactly help anything.

And if you ask me, it sounds like there's still a little bit of contempt/reluctance in his voice when he says he'll cover you.

I just found so fucking funny that even after I killed Conrad and chose to "save" Ava, Tripp still said he would cover me when I dashed to help Clem. lel

To be fair unless someone was depressed and actually wanted to die, realistically they're always going to hope that they get picked to live.

  • Sadly, telltale confirmed to me on that AMA that he didn't make it and there was no chance of Eleanor dragging him to safety to heal him.

Well, I'm gonna stick to Telltale's logic - if I didn't see them die, then they are probably still alive.

  • Of course, but there are a good amount of martyrs in TWD. I assumed that he was going for that when he told me to make the right choice. He should've just told me straight up.

Well don't imagine it would be that dramatic if Tripp was like "Yo Javi, pick me!" XD

  • Can't choose who to save
    Trip: Do the right thing
Me: Well I guess I should save Ava then
Trip: I fucking trusted you! Go to hell!
Me: wtf dude? y u sending mixed messages here?

  • Fucking hate Tripp and now that bitch is still alive, seeing as we could just shoot Joan in the eye afterwards why couldn't we just do that BEFORE one of them got shot?

Because by then, Joan still had all her people with their guns aimed at Javi, Clem and Gabe. Javier only has the choice to shoot her after Clint order his people to put down their guns.

  • What does Ava say?

  • If you choose Tripp, she mutters "Son of a bitch..."

And David is not happy with your decision.

    What does Ava say?

  • He had to have been there or close for him to appear right after the chaos broke out.

I don't think he knows yet, since he shows up during the smoke section

  • True enough.

  • Guess I was too busy being annoyed by the ridiculousness of that whole scene, they just looted an armory full of firearms, so grab a scoped rifle and shoot Joan from a building across the street or something, instead they walk right up like a bunch of idiots and get captured right away...
