Determinant Conrad and my episode 4 thoughts...(Spoilers)
So i've played Episode 4 now. Wasn't hugely impressed with it although finally there was a bit more gameplay again but once more a lack of hubs, character interaction and the episode still wasn't long enough (something i now know Telltale won't give us back) but it was intense at the end though.
One thing i have liked though is the determinant status of Conrad. He has 3 different deaths now which are shooting him in Ep 2, devoured by walkers in 3 and am i right in saying from what i heard that if you don't click to get out of the way of the truck Kate is driving after the molotov incident, Conrad will save Javier's life and get hit by the truck resulting in him dying? He's still alive in my playthrough though, now officially making him the longest determinant character from all 3 games. The one thing i felt Telltale have done right this season is how they have dealt with a determinant character.
What are your thoughts?

Well, people did upvote your post, so they evidently agree with it. I don't know what useful comment to post that doesn't just say "I agree".
Actually I think the episode had the biggest amount of hubs in this season, two in total. One in the cell and the other at the junkyard. It's a progression in a good direction.
With Conrad... well, great development for him, however all the rest might be lacking theirs because of Conrad. I'm more worried now when two more people are determinant.
We all know it's not easy to put an effort and create determinant paths for individual player. Judging by how TT's failed miserably with S2's multiple endings, I'd say Conrad might've taken all the spotlight and now it would be hardly anything left for Tripp, Ava, Clint, Joan and Lingard.
Conrad is now one of my favourite characters in ANF. I liked Tripp before but now he hates me. I wish I didn't kill him in episode 2. I have him alive in my second save file.
Don't get me wrong Conrad is great, it's just there's multiple Conrad threads at this point lol.
Tripp/Ava, Clint/Joan will likely be interchangeable Lingard will likely die or have a quick scene. You could be right but there's only one episode left you just have to give the villain decent screen time and Tripp/Ava just have to be there and it's fine, they won't be Conrad but they've only been determinant for one episode.
Fingers crossed for them surviving the season, I'm tired of this idea of everyone dying at the end.

When i said lack of hubs, as always i was comparing it to how it lacked compared to season 1 and even 2 in some ways.
conrad is the only good character in season 3 tbh
