He determinantly helps out Javi, yes. But he also nondeterminantly lunges at a guy 5x his size and gets Javi stabbed, and he determinantly turns half the group against Javi by telling them about Conrad.
And dude, he's a teenage boy. They are programmed to want to bang. If Gabe gets his way then Clem is going to be knocked up at age 13.
I like Gabe and his relationship with Clementine. And I don't believe him to be nearly as bad as people say he is. He wants to help and actively tries to help instead of being a bystander. Admittedly he's made a couple mistakes, his worst being getting Javi stabbed but everytime he's tried to help was with the best intentions. Plus he has been helpful, although people like to pretend he's never done anything good. I can also admire his refusal to abandon his father even if Kate and Javi try to make him. He also has this playful side that I wish we'd see more often. He also accomplished the ever difficult task of making Clem smile XD
I don't know what to tell you, I like Gabe and can forgive his faults. That's really all there is to it.

There is the side that wants to be like David and act immediately, and there is the sweet side that wants to look after people. I don't hate him, so dont get me wrong pal. I just think he has a lot to learn still.
If he can admit his mistakes and make smart, noble decisions for the group then i have no problem with him pairing up with Clem. But with the ways things actually are, Gabe doesn't really see the fault in his actions. He wont truly learn until someone does because of him. THAT is why i can't trust him with Clem yet.

What i meant is that she was the most grounded one in the relationship, the one to stay calm in crisis and find an actual way out instead of complaining about life. Clementine needs someone like that either as a romantical companion or as a friend, to get her to calm down once in a while and think before making a rushed desicion.
